Mohanji Satcharita – Chapter 4, January 2019

“Understand. I never leave anybody who trusts in me. Faith in God and Guru is the ultimate protection. Selfless Service is the ultimate insurance. Surrender with gratitude is the ultimate prayer. Remember this always. Doubts are your enemy. Confusion is what they leave you with. Alienation and separation from truth brings people down who doubt themselves, others, gurus, and gods. Stay with the truth. Do what’s right. Always be grateful. Always display compassion and kindness. The world is what we make it to be. Live compassion. Love unconditionally. Be Mohanji always.” – Mohanji

With our limited minds we see glimpses of the various divine dimensions of Mohanji and attempt to describe what we have experienced as testimonials/stories. These are expressions of pure love from devotees who feel Mohanji’s compassion, love and protection when they are truly connected to Him.

Mohanji says, “One of the basic reasons for our existence in the body is expression, so you must express. That’s the way you are. As you are, you express, that’s important, so you need to express yourself honestly, not in a conditioned way.”

With deep reverence, gratitude, humility and love, we offer Mohanji Satcharita 4 at the divine feet of our Guru, Brahmarishi Mohanji.

These stories when read with faith and conviction would inspire the reader to also experience the divine qualities of Mohanji.

In this chapter, there are nine more stories of Mohanji’s Divine grace & protection.

Divine Grace & Protection

The following verse from the Guru Gita depicts the protection offered by a Master. Guru Gita verse 43:

Yadanghri-kamala-dvandvam, dvandva-taapa-nivaarakam

Taarakam sarvadaa padbhyah, Srigurum pranamaamyaham.

which means:

I salute Shri Guru, whose two lotus feet remove the pain of duality and who always protects one from calamities.

This Guru Gita verse rings a bell for every devotee of Mohanji. Being omnipresent, He is by the side of the devotee during difficulties in a flash. Numerous devotees all over the world have felt his presence and protection. He showers each one of us with His grace, whether we remember him or not. What is required from us is establishing the connection with His supreme Consciousness.  He, through his compassion and unconditional love carries us through the journey of life. In each of the nine experiences shared here, all experienced the unseen hand of protection only on retrospection. What appears as an individual incident actually unfolds with grace and protection of the Master. We need to surrender with faith and awareness and rest assured that the Master takes care of each one of us. Read on and enjoy these true experiences of people in various situations.

So here are the nine stories shared by devotees on how they have felt Mohanji’s grace and protection at different times.

1. Miraculous Hues In A Pendant: Ruby Nair, Virginia, USA

Aum Gam Ganapataye Namah!!

Jai Mohanji!!

During this Virginia Retreat in August 2018, we were introduced to various accessories: Mohanji Protection Pendants, Mohanji Protection Bracelets and Mohanji Vibhuti Boxes. As I am not a big fan of any sort of jewelry or accessories and don’t wear any, I did not want to purchase them.

When the products were introduced, I asked for the price and Mohanji casually and laughingly said “$100 for Ruby, since she is from NY.” Later that evening, I ended up buying two bracelets and did  spend about $100!

A couple of weeks later, I was speaking to someone about something random and the person suggested that being a Mai-tri healer, I should keep some Mohanji Protection Pendants with me in case someone with a need may come by. Around the same time I happened to chat with Manu about something else and he shared that he has been wearing his necklace pendant every day since the retreat but takes off the bracelet at night. So, I felt I should purchase the necklace pendants for my family as well. I decided to do this because the Mohanji Protection Bracelet was at my altar most of the time and I wore it only during meditations or when going somewhere special, since I didn’t want it to get dirty or break during my house work. However, the necklace on the other hand, will always be with me and it is small enough to not get in my way.

On October 4th, 2018, I received some Mohanji Protection pendant necklaces in silver, and as soon I got them, I placed one in front of Mohanji’s  picture on the altar, thanking Him for bringing them to us. I was just happy that I was wearing the necklace all the time now and didn’t have to worry about taking it off and getting it dirty etc. For the first two days of wearing the new necklace (Mohanji Protection Pendant), I felt very tired, exhausted and ran a low-grade fever. I found that few others who recently purchased the bracelets had experienced something similar in terms of energies, so I just took it as a sign of purification. However, out of the four members in the house, I was the only one to fall sick.

On December 1st, after about a two-month time period, I was just glancing at my pendant and I noticed how dark it had become. I was under the impression that silver never changes colour when it is on a person. So, the first thought was, “How is this even possible?” All the negative thoughts started popping in my head and in a confused state I went to my husband and looked at his pendant.

pendant 3

It was not at all dark, so I just took the pictures of both pendants and sent it to Manu to hopefully get some clarity and find out if others who have purchased them had noticed something similar. As we were discussing the colours, Manu noticed that my Mohanji pendant, even though it was dark, had hues of violet/blue in the third eye, on the neck and on the shawl, and it also had shades of gold on it. In my husband’s pendant, it was as if the pendant itself had a golden tone with no other hues. It would have gone totally unnoticed if I hadn’t noticed my own darkened pendant.

I was reassured by Manu that he would find out from Mohanji and get back to me. So, the next morning I got three text messages from him. The messages were from Mohanji and they were as follows:

  1. “Purification. Warding off negative effects from the body.”
  2. “Colours signify presence. Golden is me, my tradition, sign of who is protecting.”
  3. “Plus, silver converting to black or any other color is normal.”

It was also mentioned in the text that when Mohanji was asked what the blue/violet tones meant, he just said welcome to my unusual world with the smiley face 😊

After receiving these messages, I was immediately calm and happy to know there was nothing negative about me that caused the silver to change colors. By speaking with Manu again, there was more clarity. Since I am a Mai-tri healer, the pendant was protecting me from the dark energies and I wasn’t even aware of it. Having this confirmation and knowing that I am always protected brought me to a safe place where I know I am carrying a part of Mohanji with me everywhere.

It is also very humbling to know how the universe works wonders and brings things into our lives to change, shape, protect, etc.

One thing I have learned in this journey with Mohanji is that whenever someone offers us any advice, especially from Mohanji’s family, it may seem small or insignificant or just crazy, we ought to listen. We miss a lot by listening to our minds. Sometimes just go with the flow as I did with the decision of purchasing the extra pendants.

Jai Mohanji!

2. The ‘Light’er Effect: Mina Obradović, Serbia

One day, I lit the oil lamp in front of Mohanji’s picture, left the lighter on the table and started doing something else. I suddenly heard the noise of something falling to the ground behind me. When I turned around, I saw the lighter burning. Fear overwhelmed me as I quickly put out the fire. Mohanji’s picture fell right next to the lighter, showing me it was Him that saved me. I was terrified, but also filled with love and gratitude at the same time. I cannot fully explain the moment. It was just miraculous.

pic 3

The object falling to the ground was our God (Mohanji, Jesus or Buddha…) keeping me safe.

They have shown me one small way in which they are protecting me, but who knows what kind of things they deal with on daily basis for us? And still, they don’t ask for anything in return.

I am endlessly grateful to our beloved Mohanji, all the Masters, Gods and Goddesses for always being present and protecting me.

 Love to all.

3. The Miraculous ‘Impact’: Ana Raos, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

I would like to share something I experienced today. I was on my way to Bijeljina, where Devi was conducting Yoga Nidra. After travelling for about 20 kilometres, I suddenly lost control of the car. Due to rain, the road was slippery and there might also have been some oil on the road. The wheels began to slide and the car rolled down the bushy hill, slowed down and was miraculously stopped by some thick shrubbery. My heart was beating very fast but I was not injured. There was not a single scratch or bruise, absolutely nothing. The car also was not damaged, without a scratch. A wrecking truck got me out smoothly from the shrubbery.

pic 4

I couldn’t make it to for the Yoga Nidra program, but I felt very, very grateful and blessed that everything ended like this. This is another proof of how blessed and happy I am to be under Mohanji’s protection. He is always with us. I also consider this as a gentle warning to drive more carefully and not to be in a hurry. Never again will I hurry. Thank you, dearest Father for your love and blessings. You saved my life – not only in this accident, but every single day in many different ways. Love you deeply.

Jai Brahmarishi Mohanji!

4. An unseen protection: Samantha, South Africa

We had just got back from our Rishikesh retreat and I was helping my son move houses. I had taken a picture of our Mohanji and Babaji with me for their prayer altar. While I was there, my son hung up a wall mirror on the passage way wall and an hour later we just heard a crash. The mirror had fallen and broken. I am very superstitious, but this time I remained calm and just said to them that Mohanji has a reason for it to happen. The following week, my two year old granddaughter ran into the same wall and hurt her head. Had the mirror been there, it could have caused a serious injury! When my son called me to talk about the incident, the first thing he said was, “You did say that our Mohanji had a reason when the mirror broke….!”

“When gratitude becomes the essence of our character, excesses vanish, ego vanishes and anxieties vanish. Gratitude supports faith. Gratitude provides equanimity. Gratitude reinforces unconditional love. If you have to choose one quality in life, choose gratitude. It is worth it. Everything else will fall in place by itself.” Mohanji

Om Shree Gurudeva Datta!

5. Grace of faith: Punam Kapoor, Canada

This was the time in my life where I (my soul) was supposed to leave this body to move on to the next stage in my soul’s journey. Due to this time period, my spine shifted, disconnecting from my vital organs. I felt as if I would collapse any minute.

poonam

With Sai Baba’s grace, there was an energy healer with whom we made an urgent appointment for the same evening. It was praying for Mohanji’s grace. I called out to Him for help, as I had a sinking feeling inside. I could hear a voice saying, “Your work is done.” I had chest pain.

I sent an urgent email to askmohanji@mohanji.org asking for guidance.

The healer straightened my spine and connected my vital organs to the meridians which stabilized me. However, my energy levels were too low.

I called a Mohanji family member to send me healing and she reminded me that, “Punam you are a healer yourself, try healing yourself.”  That night, I sat in my puja room and prayed to Mohanji to give me strength and to heal me. Saying this, I put my hands on my heart and solar plexus chakra.

After a minute, which I took to settle down, a strong but soothing warm current started flowing. This gave me the same feeling as Mohanji giving me Shaktipath. The next morning, I felt so much better and had the energy to go back to work!

“Faith leads. Faith soothes. Faith reinforces. Faith nurtures life. Faith elevates life. Faith stabilizes life. Faith Liberates man. Faith increases with experiences”

My gratitude and koti pranaams to Mohanji.

6. Protection from theft: Nazeema Botha, South Africa

mohanji_with_nazeema

I would like to share an experience that happened on 31st October 2018 after Suvarna and I got back to Sandton from the airport. We both requested Uber cabs to take us home and the phone app located a pick up spot as they are not allowed to pick up at the station due to taxi violence.

We walked across the street to wait for the cabs to arrive and as we stood on the corner, a security guy called out to us. But I was hesitant, as number one, who knows if he really was a security person, and number two, I don’t trust anyone after dark. So I told Suvarna not to go as we didn’t know who he was and what he wanted.

We both stood with phones in our hands and checking the arrival time of the cab drivers. I was holding the phone with almost no grip; it was basically just resting in my palm. A few minutes later, a guy walked by and grabbed my phone, but it fell back into my hand! It was as if this guy’s hand was moved away from the phone, and it had fallen back into my hand!  A car suddenly pulled up, he jumped in, and they drove off.

I was stunned and shocked at the same time. But most of all, I felt the protection of our Guru. Thank you Mohanji for your grace and protection. Pranaams to your holy feet…

“The power of purity immunizes from the rocks and shocks of daily existence. The power of purity radiates. Purity empowers.  Purity strengthens. Purity liberates. It brings gratitude into existence.”

Jai Mohanji!

7. Divine Grace to Animals, the perfect example of Love and Compassion: Subhasree, London

Mohanji’s love and compassion for all beings of Mother Earth has been seen on many occasions.

Mohanji on animals, nature and compassion

https://qawithmohanji.wordpress.com/2015/07/06/passion-for-compassion/

I was fortunate enough to witness one such incident during my trip to Serbia in November 2017 and I would like to share it here.

As a part of a charity initiative, ACT Serbia brought  approximately a metric ton (around 2204 pounds) of  dog food and visited a dog shelter run single handed by a lady. More than 350 abandoned, now rescued dogs are sheltered there. Mohanji was with us during  this visit.
We reached the shelter and soon a little puppy walked up to me. I picked  him up and noticed that he was shivering.  I cuddled him. Comforted, he started licking my face and throat and soon buried his face in my arms and dozed off!

puppy1

Food bags were being unloaded and everyone was carrying them inside (including Mohanji).  I wanted to lay the puppy on the floor and join the group in their effort, but the puppy wouldn’t budge! So I continued to hold him while he enjoyed his nap! Mohanji noticed this, came near me and commented that the puppy and I appeared to  share a bond and a past connection; hence my trip to Serbia all the way from London to share my motherly love. We laughed, but deep within, I felt that it was true. I already shared a close bond with this puppy.

Mohanji then said, “It’s a very good dog. It needs a home. See if someone can adopt it and take it home.” At that point in time, I wished I could take him home! I have been resisting my son’s demand to bring a puppy home as a pet for years; now as I held the puppy, I wished to take him home! I even mentioned this to Mohanji, and wondered how difficult it would be to take him along in the flight. He nodded. I was determined to give him a home, even if it could not be mine. So I asked the volunteers. I even offered to sponsor this puppy if someone is ready to adopt. But unfortunately, at that point of time, no one was ready.
I kept holding him, wishing that someone would adopt him and give him a nice home.
Mohanji walked by again, this time he stroked the puppy’s head with immense love. He kept his hand on its head. The puppy looked up to him. As he placed his hand on the puppy’s head, he closed his eyes and slept, as if he were witnessing the divine energy that was flowing to him.

puppy3Then Mohanji gave him Shaktipath on his third eye. I was choked and teary eyed at this sight! I couldn’t believe the good fortune of the puppy. How fortunate was he to receive Shaktipath from Mohanji ! Even as an animal, his life was being cleansed through the process and it felt like someone very close to me was being blessed.  I was also amazed and filled with gratitude to Mohanji, for his unconditional love and compassion. It did not discriminate between  species, just as the sun shines brightly for all on earth. In the eyes of the Supreme Consciousness, Para Brahma, all beings are his creation and hence equal. Comparison and partiality lies in the human mind only.

Strangely after receiving the Shaktipath, the puppy woke up with a lot of energy and started moving around. He walked around me in a circle and then moved away. Mohanji said, “Look, he is doing a pradkshina” (circumambulation), thanking you and expressing his gratitude!” I realised all of us could learn from this little one. We left the shelter but my heart was with the little puppy. I wondered if he was going to find a loving home. After two days, I returned to London, my experience with the puppy still   fresh. I kept talking to everyone about him and hoped he would be adopted soon.

In a couple of week’s time Deviji messaged me, saying one of the volunteers (Spomenka)from Serbia went back to  the dog shelter and has indeed adopted the same puppy. Though Spomenka already had few dogs with her and had no intention of getting one more, she was moved when she heard Mohanji wants the puppy to get a home!

puppy2.jpg

I was so glad to hear that the puppy had found a home. At this thought, tears began flowing from my eyes with gratitude for Mohanji. This was no less than a miracle. He said this dog must find a home. He gave shaktipath to it. Few days later, he found a home; and in the home of a Mohanji devotee! Well I don’t know if I will ever meet the puppy again; not that it is important. Knowing that he lives somewhere in a safe home, comforts me.

Now more than a year later, I got to see the photos of the puppy, now known as ‘Zen’ enjoying in his home with mum Spomenka! The love is eternal.

My gratitude to Mohanji for spreading  unconditional love, enabling two very different beings to meet and share a few moments of unconditional love. The puppy and I enjoyed each other’s love and I treasure it forever. This is perfect example of the eternal love that Mohanji has for all the beings of Mother Earth. My heartfelt gratitude at the feet of such Master.

8.  Protection in all states: Sunita Madan, India

While we know about Mohanji’s protective hand shielding us always, I experienced it first-hand one night. Since 29th December, 2018, there has been a lot of turbulence in my life due to my ailing mother and her hospitalisation. I spent much of my time in the hospital. Yesterday though I was not feeling too well and I came home to get some sleep.

In my dream state, I saw dark energies coming towards me but before they could touch me I found myself screaming Mohanji’s name twice and instantly they disappeared. Then I found myself loudly reciting the Gayathri mantra. All was well and the dark energies also moved towards the light.

The following question and Mohanji’s response are very relevant here.

Q: I dreamt of you, is it possible to connect with you even through dreams?

Mohanji : So any dream;  you interpret it as you wake up, “It’s a dream, I met Mohanji,” may not be a dream. It could be a connection which we had astrally.

Mohanji on dreams

It was a truly amazing experience. I realized we are powerful because we have Mohanji. Nothing negative can touch us when we are connected. Complete faith and surrender are the only requirements. We are all blessed. Pranaams at your lotus feet. Jai Mohanji!

Here are more links on protecting ourselves from negativity.

 9. Grace at work: Surya Sujan, Kerala

Mohanji_school_friends.jpg

I met my school friend, Mohanji on 26th December, 2018 after 38 years. I am still in a daze that I was able to meet Mohanji, one, who I thought was beyond my reach. None from my school are able to believe this meeting happened. Since then many miracles seem to be occurring in my life! I would like to share one of them as below:

My senior officer, who I report to at work, was awaiting his promotion order on Jan 4th, 2019.  He found out that his replacement was a direct recruit; someone I did not know and one who was known to be quite rude, with no respect for age or seniority. Obviously, everyone in our office was dejected. I am the second in command in the office and I was also dispirited. I stay in Kannur and work in Calicut, which is 100 km away.  I have fortunately been coming in a little later and leaving a little early. Since I have a long commute, I was allowed this privilege and I must say I had become accustomed to this relaxed work ethic.  However, I suspected the new officer would not be kind enough to grant this privilege. I also dreaded working with him.

With all these questions and worries racing through my mind, I entered my room and saw a message from Mohanji , “Are you free to talk?” Mohanji had promised to call me back after our school reunion but had been very busy with his travel and work schedule. We started talking about various issues. Suddenly, my senior came to my room and announced that there was a new order intimating a change in the appointment of the person replacing him. The new person was none other than a friend from Kannur! I couldn’t believe what had just transpired! My anxiety and apprehension had been taken care of and additionally, I   had company for the long commute to work.

mohanji_with_surya

How did this happen, I wondered! I was completely relaxed now. When I conveyed this to Mohanji, he just laughed. But I believe I know who worked the magic!

Faith is courage. Faith is strength. Faith is power!

mohanji_blessing

All the above stories with different flavours of Mohanji’s protection only indicate the one and the same essence – Omnipresent Mohanji is always available and provides the shield of protection to all His devotees when someone reaches out to Him through thoughts, prayers or even a physical message.

The next time you sing Mohanji’s Aarati, the following lines will show you how accurately these lyrics were created!

Sankatmochan bankar, dur dukh karna,

Swami dur dukh karna

Apne bhakton ka haath, apne bhakton ka haath

thame tum rakhna, Swami thame tum rakhna

Meaning:

Being the dispeller of danger, O Guru, alleviate our misery, and keep on holding the hands of your faithful devotees.

A Journey of Faith

By Subhasree, London

1st of January 2019. The beginning of a New Year. An unexpected opportunity to meet Mohanji at His home in Palakkad! (Especially after having a blissful meeting on 30th December evening with Mohanji along with my father, husband, son and sister-in-law.)

It was a miracle in itself. Mohanji was supposed to have left for Bangalore the previous day. I was leaving for London on the 1st morning too. Starting the New Year with meeting Mohanji and taking His blessings was a faraway dream, though it was a sweet desire of a devotee’s heart! As always, Mohanji heard. He stayed back on the 31st in Palakkad for some reason. I thus had the blessed opportunity to meet Him for a short while in the morning before He left for Bangalore and I left for London.

The brief meeting was very powerful indeed, along with His New Year message; He gave us some very powerful insights. He gave me clarity with His crystal clear instructions for a project that I was working on. I was in a blissful state. While Mohanji was talking with His gaze straight into my eyes, 1000 watts of energy transfer was taking place and I had totally lost the sense of my being-ness. It may have been just a few minutes, but that was enough to clear blockages from a life time for sure! In that blissful state, I had no more wishes, no more desires. I felt complete. With that satisfaction and utmost joy in heart, while I was about to leave, Mohanji asked me when was I leaving? I mentioned to Him I would be leaving in couple of hours through Mumbai with a 15 hours break there. Spontaneously Mohanji told me, “Why don’t you go to Nithyananda Ashram?” Super silly me, I asked Him, “Which ashram?” He said, “Ganeshpuri.” What? I was shocked. How could I go to Ganeshpuri in the evening? How would that be possible? Was it even practical? Though these thoughts had rushed into my mind, I did not utter any words to Him at that time. He also gave me suggestions about two other things to be done, which were related to the project that we had discussed before. So again, my logical mind agreed to these two tasks, but going to Ganeshpuri sounded an impossible idea.  Anyway, I did pranaam to Mohanji, received a hug from Him and bidding farewell, returned home.

While I was feeling blissful by meeting Mohanji, I also had a bit of sadness in me that my husband Harish could not come with me to Mohanji’s house to meet Him as he had gone to the airport to drop my father. I was then telling to myself, he is doing his duty, I am sure Mohanji knows. Little did I know at that point, a miracle was waiting to grace Harish! When Harish returned home from the airport, he had a mysterious smile on his face. He slowly showed me a photo on his phone. Looking at that, I was speechless, my mouth wide open! It was a picture of Harish with Mohanji! When? Where? I was speechless with excitement. The sadness that I had, melted immediately and gratitude flowed from my heart for this grace from Mohanji. Harish explained that while he was returning from the airport, on the highway, at a tollgate, his car driver spotted Mohanji standing outside His car on the other side of the road (going on the opposite direction, towards Bangalore). So, Harish asked the driver to stop the car and rushed to the other side of the road and met Mohanji. Well, now this was no less than a miracle! Spotting Mohanji standing on a highway lane that too on the opposite direction! How often do such coincidences happen? Why was Mohanji standing outside His car on a highway? Rajesh Kamath, who was travelling with Mohanji, posted a message on a WhatsApp group explaining so well, what had happened. I must share it here.

Rajesh wrote,
“A routine stop at a toll booth… As we pay and leave, we hear a bang! Looks like the bad boys behind hit our car. I come out but can’t locate the damage or find out the cause of the sound. I check with the toll booth attendant to find out what happened. He explains patiently in Greek, Latin and Malayalam. All I understand is the word bundy (which means car in Malayalam) repeated many times. Yes. I know it’s the tale of two bundies. But what happened? He responds in Creole, Taiwanese and Malayalam. I give up. Walk to our driver to request for help with an offline Google translate. Right then, Mohanji Himself steps out. The attendant explains that the bad boys were trying to avoid paying the toll and hit us in the rush. They sideswiped the fender on the left which was protruding slightly. Mohanji takes them to task in rapid-fire Malayalam. I rapidly interpret bits and pieces correlating intermittent English words and hand actions – can’t see bundy / speedbump? what’s the hurry? drunk? extended party? They sheepishly apologize and accept their mistake. Mohanji’s New Year message comes to mind. Everything starts with acceptance. But we all know that karma and bundy damage need to be paid in full. It’s the law. Mohanji asks me to take pictures of the number plate and the bad boys, and tells them to pull over to the shoulder to discuss further. They comply.

Unexpectedly, Harish Thottungal (Subhasree’s husband) makes a sudden entry! More Malayalam fire power. We move to the shoulder of the road. Turns out the bad boys know a thing or two about the bundy. No major damage. Fender is popped back in. Mohanji lets the bad boys go. They are taken in by Him, ask His name and request a selfie. Harish thanks Him for the unexpected grace, greets, hugs and takes a selfie. As I get back in the car, I wonder why this happened. Besides the crash course for me in Malayalam. Harish’s desire to see Mohanji? A spiritual push for the bad boys honouring a contract from some past life? Reducing karmic effects for the car passengers by transferring impact to the poor unsuspecting bundy? A seemingly casual incident that may have far reaching effects in the lives of those involved in this drama and also maybe someone in a hitherto unknown remote corner of the universe. We will never know. What we should know in this year and beyond is that He is much more than the eyes can see, the heart can feel and the mind can know. Never take Him or anything related to Him lightly!”

Hearing about the incident Harish narrated and reading what Rajesh wrote, I was in total awe! What a start to the New Year! Such grace! Eyes seeing it, heart feeling it. In this excitement, hidden was even more exciting events for the rest of the day. Take a coffee break (vegan) if you want, before starting to read on the remaining part of the exciting story of the day! Okay, so here you go!

After sometime, while on my way to the airport, I thought of Mohanji’s words, “Go to Ganeshpuri.” At that point, I realised, Mohanji would never say anything without a purpose. He will not give instructions if it can’t be done. So that’s it…the moment I heard this inner voice, I checked the temple timing on their website. It said 9:30pm, Shej aarati! My flight was supposed to land in Mumbai at 4 pm. I had to meet an ailing aunty for some time. I figured out that even if I meet my aunty and start around 6 pm, I would reach Ganeshpuri before aarati time. I also had to do the other two tasks that Mohanji had advised! Well, I surrendered to Mohanji and said, “Okay, I am ready…take me where you want me to go.”

Practically, it wasn’t as simple as saying, okay I am ready. I had two suitcases and a nine-year-old child with me. Taking a cab from the airport, doing the trip up to Ganeshpuri with the luggage and the child was not a very simple and easy plan. However, regardless of what the logical mind says, the moment surrender happens, Guru takes care! That’s always true!

When I checked in my luggage and asked if I needed to take it out in Mumbai, the person said that we would only get the luggage in London! A spontaneous, “WOW” came out! So now, I didn’t have to pull my luggage with me around in Mumbai or to Ganeshpuri, just the cabin bag. One problem was taken care of.
I was going to stay at a friend’s house for the night. Her dad had recently passed away, so not meeting her or not going to their house was not an option at all. However, going to their house around midnight made me a little apprehensive as I didn’t want to disturb them. But when I told my friend, Hemangi, about Mohanji’s advice to go to Ganeshpuri and invited her to join me too, she agreed immediately. I must mention here, my friend has some physical issues and she is not very mobile. For her to follow me to Ganeshpuri and returning so late wasn’t a very normal and easy thing. I was actually pleasantly surprised when she agreed to come! Well for me, another worry was taken of! Second problem sorted!

While waiting to board the flight, I had a chat with Preethi (Madhu’s wife) and I told her about this idea of going to Ganeshpuri. She and Madhu immediately agreed that they would join me too! In fact not just join me; they would actually take me, my son and my friend, to Ganeshpuri in their car! That meant I didn’t have to worry about booking a cab or worry about safety about going to a faraway place in the night and returning back! “Wow Mohanji,” I said in my head. Third problem sorted!

I relaxed before boarding the flight. Guess what, the flight was delayed by an hour! Ah, not a pleasant thing to happen! With 9:30 pm as the deadline to reach Ganeshpuri and meeting my aunty before that, amidst the Mumbai traffic, the travel was not going to be easy. Every minute was important. But what could I do. I realised, maybe it was a test for my conviction! Am I going to stick to the plan or drop it? No, I wasn’t going to give up. I knew if Mohanji wanted me to go, He would make sure I reach there. I held on to this thought for the rest of the evening.

So, I arrived at Mumbai airport 1 hour late, yet managed to reach my aunty’s place and spent some quality time with her. Hemangi, my friend also reached there and soon, as decided, we were on our way to Preethi’s home to proceed on our journey to Ganeshpuri.
Then came more hurdles and tests; test of conviction, test of patience and test of faith! Evening time in Mumbai has traffic at its peak. A 15 minutes journey took us 1 hour 15 minutes! Much later than we had planned, we reached Preethi & Madhu, who were waiting for us in their car, right on the road! It was 7:30pm already. We had exactly 2 hours to reach the temple before it closed! Usually Ganeshpuri is a 2 hour drive from there, in normal traffic conditions. All were hopeful that we just might make it! Preethi was constantly praying to Mohanji, “Please keep the traffic clear.” Madhu had taken on a different avatar! His transformation into a rash driver in the depressing traffic condition was giving us goose bumps sometimes and sometimes the excitement of a roller coaster ride! Madhu had some magic wings on! He was literally flying the car! Suddenly Mohanji called Madhu to discuss something. When Madhu informed Him about our journey to Ganeshpuri, all He said was “Enjoy.” We all laughed out loud! What does He mean! Preethi screamed, “Mohanji you have to clear the traffic for us, please!” Madhu apologised for his rash driving. Sambhav, my 9 yr old son on the back seat, was quietly enjoying the bumpy ride! I was laughing inside – “You told me to go. I know You will make me reach there!”
As if the delay due to the heavy traffic was not enough, we even missed the exit to Ganeshpuri! Thankfully, before it was too late, Madhu realised it and at that exact time, noticed a small pass to be able to take a U-turn and zoom, he sped up again! Amidst all the excitement, we certainly had an amazing satsang talking all about Mohanji’s leelas. The two tasks that He had given me were also done during this time. While I was confident that Mohanji would make us reach there on time, I was still wondering, why did Mohanji ask me to go to Ganeshpuri? There must be a purpose behind His command. I had this question because my personal desire of any pilgrimage ends with meeting Mohanji. Meeting Him gives me the fulfilment of visiting any temple or place of pilgrimage. I don’t even desire or pray for going to places! Hence, I knew this was a command for a different purpose! What was it?
While I was sharing this with Preethi, she said that for her birthday that was coming in few days, she had a desire to go to Shirdi and Ganeshpuri. However, they had planned to go to Shirdi (and in fact they were supposed to leave the next morning) but didn’t have any plans of going to Ganeshpuri! Therefore, this sudden plan and that too Madhu agreeing for it instantly amidst his huge pile of tasks, was overwhelming for her. She was all teary while mentioning this and I thought “Ah, now I understand Mohanji…so this was your idea…to ensure that Preethi’s desire of visiting Ganeshpuri before her birthday was fulfilled!”
My friend Hemangi, who was with us, said that she had a wish to visit Ganeshpuri after her dad’s demise, as her dad used to regularly go to Ganeshpuri! But, with her health condition, it was impossible for her to plan a trip to Ganeshpuri! Ah, there you go! This was yet another purpose. I thought again, Mohanji’s leela was getting clearer to me.

That wasn’t all though. A friend from UK, Nelly-Anne, who was recently in India for a holiday and had a desire to visit both Shirdi and Ganeshpuri, had only managed to visit Shirdi. When she saw my message of going to Ganeshpuri, she immediately said, “Mohanji is fulfilling my wish of visiting Ganeshpuri through you. If possible, please can you bring a small idol of Bhagawan Nithyananda for me?” The purpose of Mohanji’s command was getting clearer.

The excitement was building up. We were counting minutes and seconds! Through the turns and bends of narrow roads leading to Ganeshpuri, over the potholes and bumpy roads, we were all sitting with tight lips, praying hard to Mohanji! I surrendered to Mohanji, “You told me to go, so You will make me reach there.” My faith was intact.

It’s worth mentioning that all this time, though it’s been 11 hours since Sambhav and I had started our journey from Palakkad in the morning, the 9 year old was amazingly calm! No restlessness, no stress, no uneasiness, no hunger, no call of nature….he wasn’t bothered nor did he bother any of us. This unexceptionally matured and calm behaviour from him was noteworthy! I realised, M magic was at work for sure!

Finally, the drama ended. Madhu parked the car in front of the temple gate. It was 9:26pm! We all jumped out of the car, rushed to the temple. Madhu helped my friend who had trouble walking. We all reached inside the temple, just about 2 minutes before curtains close. When we reached, the priest was putting the woollen cap and wrapping Bhagawan Nithyananda’s idol with a shawl. It was the usual wintery night ritual.
The moment my eyes fell on Bhagawan Nithyananda’s face, I froze.

nityananda1

Jan 2018 was when this new idol of Bhagawan was consecrated and I was one among the blessed ones to be there, sitting in this same hall, participating in the consecration events. That was my first ever meeting of Bhagawan Nithyanada (well in this life time!) Stepping into that hall, seeing Bhagawan’s face, memory of that day flashed back, my head bowed with immense gratitude to the Guru Mandala for having given me such a blessed opportunity, once again. While I touched my forehead at the marble Paduka of Bhagawan, I had no words to pray, all that was coming from my heart was, “Thank You Mohanji. Thank You Bhagawan for this darshan, for this grace.” I was too stunned to even pray for anything else or think of anything else!

When I got up after my pranaam, I noticed a very tearful Preethi. I realised how overwhelming it was for her as her desire was fulfilled! I said again, “Thank You Mohanji for taking care of everyone!” And in what a way! Hemangi was speechless too! Sambhav was curious, though quiet.

The curtains then closed! The priest explained, it was Ekadashi that day and hence no Shej Arati. They have to close the curtains exactly at 9:30pm, strict rules! Well, we felt complete and satisfied even with the 2 minutes of powerful darshan from Bhagawan.

Suddenly I noticed a man wearing a white dhoti and kurta, with long curly hair, but short and thin in stature, coming towards us with a pot of purified water ‘teertham.’ He gave some to all of us and asked Sambhav to open his mouth and directly poured some teertham into his mouth. Then I noticed he was also drinking some the same way. My attention then turned the other way towards Sambhav who was asking me, “Is this all Mum, for which we travelled?” I said to him, “Even if it’s for two minutes, it’s very powerful and we are blessed to have had these 2 minutes of darshan.” At that moment, Hemangi asked me, where did the man who gave us the water go? I looked behind. Preethi, Madhu and I looked at each other. May be he rushed out quickly. That quick! Hmm…we were all thinking the same. Madhu then said, he had noticed this man earlier, sitting at the back near the curtains. He said he felt as if this man was keeping the curtains open for us. A divine guide, for sure! We realised who came there! No grace mark for this guess…

We slowly came out of the temple, still in awe of this journey that finally, we made it and we got the darshan of Bhagawan. I felt blessed for keeping my faith intact … As we were stepping out, Madhu gave us a message from Sulakhe Maharaj (the head priest of Shirdi temple, whom he was going to meet the next day), that even 2 drops of nectar from Bhagawan is as powerful as a pot of nectar! That meant a lot! 2 minutes of darshan from Bhagawan is no less than a two hour darshan!

We then went around the temple and finally came near the pool of a natural hot water spring. Few people were inside the pool. We just satisfied ourselves by taking a few mugs of water to wash our face, head and feet. There comes Sambhav, with a crazy idea. “Mum, I want to go inside the pool.” “What?” I was stunned. No towel, no spare clothes, cold night, how is he thinking of going inside the pool! But, he insisted and came up with a cool idea, that he could just remove his shirt and jeans and go into the pool with his underpants on and when he came out, wear the shirt and jeans back on! Well, the child, who at home, needs to dry off immediately with a towel was telling me he doesn’t need one! Sambhav also has a very sensitive nose and gets bothered easily with smells. He noticed the sulphur smell in the water and saying it smelt like sewage, but didn’t let that bother him or stop him from going into the pool. So I finally let him go inside and he really seemed to enjoy quite a few minutes there. A much-deserved reward for such amazingly good behaviour all this time!

We then started to get back towards the car and at that time I enquired with Madhu whether there was any shop from where I could buy a small idol of Bhagawan for Nelly-Anne. Ganeshpuri that night around 10 pm was already sleeping. Dark, quiet and all the shops were closed. Well, maybe it’s not meant to be, I thought. Suddenly, I noticed a small shop at the end of the street had a light on. So we went there and to our pleasant surprise, the shop was open and I could buy an idol for Nelly-Anne. Mohanji made sure that even this desire of a devotee from thousands of miles away got fulfilled. We got into the car and started our return journey back to Mumbai. Everyone was very content with such a fulfilling ending to our exciting journey.

Before we realised, we reached our destination much sooner and much smoother than it was during the onward journey. I realised, this is the ultimate truth – till we find our Guru, our journey in the gross life is so treacherous, full of hurdles, anxious, difficult etc…but after we find our Guru, our final journey is smooth, easy, pleasant and effortless!

I thank Preethi and Madhu from the bottom of my heart for coming out on a busy evening to take us to Ganeshpuri, just with my one chat…. It’s their love for Mohanji, understanding that every word Mohanji utters is a command not to be doubted, analysed or missed! Indeed, this was a lesson to learn and an example to follow. I thank my friend Hemangi for being so patient and supportive and having no objection, or resistance and welcoming us to her house so late. Her support in my endeavour of completing my Guru’s command was indeed commendable.

Above all, my heartfelt gratitude to Mohanji for every single thing behind this journey, giving my husband and I the abundance of His love on New Year’s morning, giving me such a pious purpose for visiting Ganeshpuri and getting the darshan of Bhagawan before the end of New Year’s Day. This blessing and grace for me personally was beyond my imagination. His grace of fulfilling the desires of many more, Preethi, Hemangi, Nelly-Anne and maybe other beings who travelled with us that evening whom we may not have recognised with our physical eyes.

sambhav_pool

I thanked Mohanji with a text message and sent Him the photo of Sambhav inside the pool. Honestly, I had no idea at that point in time, the value of being inside that pool until Mohanji texted back, “This is the place where Bhagawan used to take a dip.” I understood one more purpose behind this journey, Sambhav getting unseen, incomprehensible grace and blessings by being in this pious siddha dham of Ganeshpuri!
My head bows to my Guru, who gives us purpose to make our life more meaningful while being in eternal joy and bliss.

Thank you Mohanji for your eternal Love!
Jai Mohanji.

The Saga of ‘The Blanket’ Seva

By Rekha Murali

Ammucare Charitable Trust has volunteers across the globe carrying out selfless service activities of various types to reach out to as many people as possible. Through each seva, volunteers have wonderful, transforming experiences. Two such experiences are given below.

Blanket distribution in Chennai

You are expressing your highest. Let that highest be compassion, selflessness, sharing and caring. Let those be your highest expressions on earth so that you have no regrets.” Mohanji

These words by Mohanji are very precious as this is what I truly experienced as a volunteer of Ammucare.  I have tried to put into words the actual incident which taught me so much.

With the onset of winter in early November, Ammucare India decided on a ‘blanket drive’ campaign to distribute blankets to the homeless. I dismissed the idea immediately in my mind, as I lived in Chennai: a place where it is hot, hotter and hottest! I spoke with my friend Kishore too and we decided that we would focus on annadhan (food seva) and not on distribution of blankets. While in a conversation with Soma Seal (President of Ammucare, India) for some other matter, I casually mentioned this to her and said that it was not feasible for the Chennai team to participate in this blanket distribution. She too agreed and asked us to continue with our other seva! I could not have been more wrong and so far from the truth of our Master’s plan!

During the first week of December, with gusto, Kishore, Murali (my husband) and I planned to execute our monthly annadhan. One pleasant and windy Sunday morning, we set off for our food seva for the homeless. We came across a group of nomadic people who had pitched a tent in an open area. They eagerly accepted the food served and in their strange dialect communicated to us that they wanted blankets for their entire group as it was very cold! Coincidentally, it was a cold, windy day and Chennai recorded the lowest temperature for the year 2018! Our hearts melted in spite of the cold weather outside and we decided immediately to procure some blankets.

This is how our blanket drive seva started. Promptly, we began making enquiries to procure cotton blankets which people could use throughout the year and not just for the few days in December. This had to be done immediately as it was the need of the hour! During the week, Kishore and I went around to different shops to buy blankets at a reasonable cost.  Finally Kishore zoomed in on one shop and we were able to purchase 25 good quality blankets! Feeling very happy, we decided to distribute them the next day itself to complete the seva. The urgency was because this was the first time that the temperatures had dipped a little and people required them now!

Late in the evening, three of us (Kishore, Sreenivas and I) set out to distribute the blankets. We drove around for two hours and managed to distribute only 7-8 blankets! Some people even refused to accept the blankets. We also carefully looked for people who had no belongings including old women and men sleeping on the streets.  As we did not make much progress, it was decided that I would distribute the remaining blankets during the week as the other two volunteers were travelling.

Contemplating on the turn of events, I realised there was a message and a huge learning through this seva activity. One thing I understood was to be completely devoid of doership and operate with detachment and compassion. The entire seva was ordained through the divine command of our Guru and Master Mohanji! I was however curious about the outcome of this whole exercise.  In the meantime, during my Kriya practice, I saw a beautiful, green, single mountain peak and guessed that it was Thiruvannamalai (Arunachala).  I understood that it was a call to visit this holy place soon!

During the third week, Murali and I drove around every alternate night in search of homeless people. Once we went around the entire length and breadth of Chennai and managed to find only one man who was settling into sleep in front of a shop with a towel and a water bottle. During this week again, we were able to distribute only five blankets.

pic-6

I was not perturbed and felt that our destination was Arunachala! This was when the call of the Arunachala Mountain came true. During the last weekend of December 2018, Murali and I set out to the temple town of Thiruvannamalai.  After a parikrama of the holy mountain (girivalam), we went around the town distributing the blankets late in the night. It was extremely cold and there were lots of sadhus sleeping on the platforms along the parikrama path. Initially, we could spot only a few without blankets but later on late at night, we located many more sadhus sleeping bare on the platform with just their dhoti as a cover. The sadhus graciously accepted our offer of blankets and blessed us. As we ventured further, we saw a few people covered head to toe in blue plastic sheets and in deep sleep. I was not aware of who these people were but I just covered them with a new blanket and moved from one person to another. My eyes filled with tears as I experienced non-doership and the person receiving it was also unaware! What we plan and what is executed are two different things! Thus the 10 days of activity ended as a blissful and heart-warming seva in Arunachala, the Kailash of the South!

The next day, while returning home, I did identify a couple of sadhus sitting on the pavement with the new blankets. One sadhu with matted hair had the blanket next to him and was noting down something in a diary. On the way, we stopped to give some fruits and biscuits to an old woman. Suddenly, out of the blue, she asked for a blanket. As I did not have a new one, I gave her the one I had for my personal use. It was such a beautiful and blissful experience that my heart overflowed with gratitude for having been able to complete this seva with Mohanji’s guidance. Thus ended the blanket saga!

This entire seva was an eye-opener and helped me understand the true meaning of giving back to the earth! Sitting in my comfort zone, I did not realise the actual need of the people on the streets. During the course of the seva, there were talks about giving only to people who ‘deserved.’ The question that came up in my mind immediately was: who are we to judge?  Our duty is to give and those who need it will automatically receive. This was probably the reason why we were guided to the right people at the right time! It removed the remnants of doership completely and my heart was filled with only unconditional love.

Seva is an inner call with immense benefits to the volunteer. These were the few key points which each of us can contemplate on:

  1. Selflessness – Through this entire act, Mohanji showed me how the hand that gives and the hand that receives is the only connection. Doership falls away and the true joy of giving can be experienced.
  2. Promptness – Any seva has to be done immediately and effectively. Although we scouted around the same day for reasonably priced blankets, we could not give them to the people who asked for them as they left town the next morning. However, the seva was completed in a short time and delivered to people who were meant to receive them.
  3. Conviction – This was clearly brought out through my inner vision of the mountain and the annadhan experience changed my thought process within seconds, giving me that conviction that the blanket drive was a necessity at this point in time.
  4. Compassion – When the heart is open, compassion finds a place in it.  All of us as volunteers are compassionate and that is what makes us swing into action immediately when required.
  5. Awareness – With unconditional love as the driving force, the entire seva was carried out with awareness and commitment.
  6. Gratitude – The gratitude that I felt at the culmination of the activity can only be experienced. This was a wonderful opportunity for self- growth and learning.
  7. Healing – It was a process of self-healing as with giving unconditionally, we shed a lot of our baggage and are on the path of spiritual progress

Needless to say, in all of the above, Mohanji’s loving hand gently steered us in the right direction, pointing us correctly to the people who were meant to benefit from this blanket drive. Not only that, Murali and I were blessed to visit a beautiful Vittal temple through Mohanji’s grace. It was an overwhelming and blissful experience where I felt one with the divine. This is how Mohanji showered His blessings on us.

Thank you Mohanji for the wonderful platform that you provide for these acts of giving!

Jai Mohanji!

Another Ammucare volunteer, Savitri also shared her experience of Blanket distribution at Shirdi.

Blankets for the special needs orphan children in Shirdi:

9th of November is celebrated as Ammucare day in India and as ACT day in other parts of the world. Ammucare volunteers across India were doing selfless activities according to the needs and capabilities in their areas.

For this special event, Savitri and her husband Jayasurya planned to distribute blankets at an orphanage of special needs children in Shirdi. When they went to procure suitable blankets, they realised that the cost was way beyond the budget! Immediately, Savitri prayed to Mohanji to help them and without any delay, Mohanji’s grace worked as a miracle! The shopkeeper gave them a discount of 50%! He reduced another 20% from the final bill, saying that it was his contribution towards the seva! The ultimate cost of the required number of blankets came well within the budget.

After procuring the blankets, Savitri, Jayasurya and their daughter (a young Ammucare volunteer) reached Shirdi a couple of days before the 9th. Selfless service with unconditional love is one of the main pillars of the Datta Tradition and the grace of Shirdi Sai Baba is always seen for people involved in any seva activity. It was evident this time too.

When Savitri and Jayasurya entered the Samadhi temple, they met Sulakhe Maharaj (the head priest of the temple). Upon their introduction as Mohanji’s devotees, Sulakhe Maharaj immediately gave Savitri a coconut and a flower. He also gave her a shawl and a flower and asked her to give them to Mohanji whenever she meets Him. Savitri felt Sai Baba’s blessings upon receiving these gifts for Mohanji and herself.

Coming out of the temple, she immediately noticed on the TV that Sulakhe Maharaj was not sitting at the Samadhi anymore. It was as if he had suddenly appeared to give this special gift to Mohanji on the auspicious day of Lakshmi puja. Savitri realised that this was a special blessing from Sai Baba!

On the following day, as planned, Savitri and her family along with other Ammucare volunteers distributed blankets to the boys at the orphanage. Not only did Savitri feel immense satisfaction for having met the needs of these underprivileged children, she also felt immense gratitude towards Mohanji and Sai Baba, and for the grace of the Guru Mandala!

Mohanji cleared the hurdle of high expenditure, enabling them to purchase the correct number of blankets at a reasonable price and facilitated smooth execution. In addition, Sai Baba’s blessings came through Sulakhe Maharaj, who gave them the gift of a coconut, which is now a rare prasad inside the temple.

The message is clear. Mohanji and Sai Baba have shown us how much they love people who do selfless service. Mohanji carries out every selfless ACT with compassion through devotees like Savitri.

Mohanji’s New Year message (2019) sums up the entire act of seva.

‘If we ADD VALUE to the society, we have value in this life. In this whole life, it’s all about how much we can give; it’s not how much we can take.” – Mohanji

Mohanji And I ‘MET’

By Rekha Murali, Chennai, India

While contemplating on the various transformations happening within me and around me, there were some realisations on certain things, which I feel are very important. Each one of us has a deep connection with Mohanji but the way we accept it or sustain it is different. Some of us need His physical touch or presence while others feel Him within, being connected to His consciousness.

met_1

As we connect, we become one with Mohanji! Even in this state, I sometimes can see the mind taking control, bringing in some negative influences through thought or word. The negative thoughts often come out of expectations. The question that came up was – I am connected to Mohanji, and with Him beside me what happens when such expectations arise?

Reviewing some situations in which such negative thoughts occurred, I realised it was ownership of the situation that gave rise to the thought. At the same time, Mohanji also takes care of me in such situations. Whatever desire arose with the ownership, He fulfilled it. Why does He do that? He gently assures me that I am not wrong in thinking the way I did and that it is ok to feel so. I am not taken to task by Mohanji for having such a thought and feeling low because of it. By fulfilling the expectation, (if it doesn’t harm me or others) He helps me to forget and move on. He solves these expectations through experiences, messages, or any which way He thinks is right. All that I need to do is be aware and understand the way in which the situation has worked out. Thus, He removes the negativities, bringing in a sense of calm and emptiness inside. He then works His magic to fill me in with what is needed for my elevation.

Mohanji just accepts each of us so graciously, expecting nothing in return. So, being aware when such a thought rises is the first step. The second step is to surrender the thought/expectation to Him. Mohanji then hand holds us through our journey with love and compassion.

So, let us surrender with faith and gratitude to our beloved Master. Let us hold His extended hand and be confident that whatever He does is for our highest good.

met_3

One such incident where Mohanji lovingly took care of me and at the same time showed me how He did it was a huge lesson that I will cherish for ever.

Recently, I was initiated into becoming a medium for Mohanji Energy Transfer (MET). All charged up and excited, I was ready to act as a conduit for Mohanji in the weekly Power of Purity Meditation conducted every Sunday in Chennai, India. The POP that I planned to give energy transfer was to be held on December 2nd 2018, but of course, Mohanji had other and better plans for me. Here’s what happened.

Being a South Indian, I am fond of my morning filter coffee. However, as I strongly felt that the mind has to be controlled with immediate effect, I decided to stop the coffee overnight. It was also causing acidity in me. So on December 1st, I just didn’t have my morning cuppa!  All was well till lunch time, but developed a severe migraine at the back of my head and slowly the nausea and vomiting started. This continued for almost six to seven hours. The gross mind immediately told me it was the withdrawal symptoms of stopping my favourite black coffee. I silently prayed to Mohanji and I went to meet my family physician. But again, that was not to be. The doctor didn’t turn up. By then the vomiting stopped but the pounding in the head continued and I was exhausted. The head felt very heavy throughout!

As a regular Kriya practitioner, I somehow managed to do the 10 minute Kriya too (I had done one in the morning luckily) and hit the bed. My plan of going for the POP session the next day came crashing down. There was no way that I could attend the POP session and give Mohanji’s energy transfer, as I could barely stand up the next morning.  I listened to the craving of my mind and had a small cup of regular coffee in the morning thinking that was the cause for the headache. The gratification lasted for just about an hour. The pounding of the head commenced again (this time the side of the head) and I meekly climbed back into bed. I lay in that state the entire Sunday, praying to Mohanji and chanting the Mohanji Gayatri whenever I remembered. By evening, the pain subsided a little into a dull throb enabling me to complete my Kriya.

The pattern repeated itself again the next morning and I could not go to work. By now three full days had gone by. Gradually, I started feeling better. The only surprising thing was that I was able to keep up my Kriya practice. I continued taking half a cup of light coffee.  One thing I need to mention here is that I had very powerful dreams of Mohanji, snakes, blessings of Masters etc., in spite of the headache. Sleep was scarce but the dreams in the short spells were strange and powerful.

The 4th day finally dawned. The head felt so light, with just a slight headache remaining. I felt as if I had lifted a load off my head and put it down. I also felt unusually happy and with a skip in my step commenced my daily routine. I went to work and had a beautiful day. I thanked Mohanji sincerely and went about my work, having avoided medication. Little did I understand what My Guru in all His love and compassion had planned for me. In the meantime, there was severe pain in the left shoulder and the nape of my neck. I just ignored it, confident that Mohanji was working on me and continued with my routine.

The headache was like wearing a crown, with slight heaviness around the head. In spite of this, my Kriya sessions were very powerful, and my entire body would pulsate with energy while doing Kriya. The region of the forehead, eyes and face would throb and I could sense the pulse in every part of my body. It was as though the region around the Ajna chakra and above were activated. I still didn’t realise the impact of what Mohanji was doing for me. I loved the sensations, thanked the Masters and stuck to my practice. This continued the whole of the previous week. A lot of pent up emotions were also surfacing and I would be in tears while doing Kriya and the breathing would  accelerate.

Soon, my friend Revathy asked me about our plan for doing a 360 degree meditation together. We decided to conduct it on 7th December and I quickly posted an invite in the Chennai group. Before I knew it, seven of us met at my place for the meditation including two new comers.  By then I felt it was the right time to do Mohanji’s Energy Transfer for the participants and surrendered the intention to Mohanji. I did the Gayathri, sought His blessings, and we commenced the meditation at the appointed time.

The entire meditation session was highly charged and the room was filled with Mohanji’s energy. Quietly, I commenced the Energy Transfer, all the time fully conscious of the fact that Mohanji was working through me and I was just a conduit. I felt such a deep connection as though I had just merged into His consciousness. Tears rolled down my cheeks, drenching me as I moved from one person to another. My whole being was throbbing with Mohanji’s energy but there was a feeling of calmness and bliss within me. My heart overflowed with unconditional love and compassion towards each participant. In an instant, I realised that this is what Mohanji feels when He looks at us  – He showers us with His unconditional love and blissful energy that makes us feel so safe and happy in His aura.  I could sense the energy flowing through my hands and out of me into the other person.   As though on autopilot, I moved from one person to another, not knowing what I was doing. I was aware of just one fact, I was the medium and Para Brahma was working through me.  The sense of doer-ship fell off completely as I stood overwhelmed, immersed in His energy. Once the Energy Transfer was completed, I sat down quietly and joined the meditation. My entire body was throbbing and felt so vibrant, but tears flowed ceaselessly and the breath began coming out in gasps. I realised I was also being showered with His energy and cleansing was happening. At the end of the session, each one shared their beautiful and powerful experiences and we wrapped up the satsang with the Shiva Kavacham.

The story does not end here. I was blissfully unaware of the reason why things had unfolded as they did. The next morning (Saturday), I listened to the audio testimonial of Sujatha on my way to work. I was so overwhelmed and mesmerised by her narration and the sincere power of her words washed over me. Once it was over, I switched off all sounds for the rest of my drive, just contemplating on what she shared. It was then the moment of understanding hit me. Everything clicked into place. Tears of gratitude flowed and I really don’t know how I reached my destination that day. All the events of the past week came rushing back and they unfolded step by step. The reason for the delay in giving Mohanji’s Energy Transfer, my so called sickness and the final meditation session were all orchestrated by dear Mohanji! I was not totally empty as a channel for His energy to flow. Mohanji had to work on me overtime to clear and cleanse me, and prepare me to receive His energy. The migraine, the vomiting, the heaviness, all these were part of the cleansing process. I also realised that once the headache left me, I had a feeling of emptiness within me. I had just carried on with my daily activities with a sense of acceptance and calm. What kept me going were my sadhana practices of Mohanji Gayatri, aarati and Kriya. Mohanji kept me in that state – a state of emptiness so that I could carry out my seva activities too! He had kept me empty and connected with Him. I just flowed through the day not even aware that He was working on me! The pain around the head was also a clearing of the various chakras enhanced by Kriya practice. No wish is left unfulfilled by Him. All that is required is complete surrender to Him. He takes care of each one of us and does everything in a thorough manner. Every job to completion! Mohanji was DOING HIS JOB!

I am eternally grateful to you dear Mohanji. You are an ocean of love and compassion! Thank you for each and every blessing that you have showered on me and for being by my side every moment.
