Guru Purnima Celebration Worldwide 2022

With unity, stability and determination, we express our gratitude to Mohanji through serving the world and thus taking it to something higher and more glorious. We express unconditional love, compassion, kindness, selflessness, and non-violence in our daily life. We always ask, “Is there something I can do for you?”, “Can I help you?”, “Is there something which we can do to make the life of the people around us better? etc. Many platforms express these true values ad add value to society. Our activities intensified on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima.

Guru Stotram with Farsi translation

GURU STOTRAM

Salutations are to that guru who showed me the abode, the one who is to be known, whose form is the entire universe and by whom all the movable and immovable are pervaded.

Salutations are to that guru who opened the eye of one blind due to the darkness (cover) of ignorance with a needle coated with the ointment of knowledge.

Salutations to that guru who is the Creator, Sustainer, and Destroyer, who is the limitless one.

Salutations are to that guru who showed me the one to be known, who permeates whatever is movable, immovable, sentient, or insentient.

Salutations to that teacher who showed me (by teaching) the One to be known, who is but Awareness, and who is the pervader of all three worlds comprising the sentient and insentient.

Salutations are to that guru who is the Sun to the lotus of Vedanta and whose lotus feet are made radiant by the jewel of all Srutis (Upanishads).

Salutations are to that guru who is Awareness, changeless (beyond time), who is peace, beyond space, pure (free from likes and dislikes), and who is beyond the manifest and the unmanifest (Nada, Bindu, etc.).

Salutations are to that guru who is rooted in the knowledge that is power, adorned with the garland of Truth, and who is the bestower of the joy of liberation.

Salutations are to that guru who, by bestowing the knowledge of the self, burns up the bondage created by accumulated actions of innumerable births.

Salutations are to that guru; the perennial flow of wisdom from the one rooted in the vision of the sruti, dries up totally to the ocean of transmigration (samsara) and reveals the essence of all wealth (the freedom of want).

There is nothing superior to the knowledge of Truth, nothing higher than the Truth, and there is no purifying austerity better than the Truth; salutations to that guru.

Prostrations to that guru who is the Lord of the Universe, my Teacher, who is the Teacher of the Universe, who is the Self in me, and the Self in all Beings.

Salutations are to that guru who is the beginning and the beginningless, who is the highest Deity and to whom there is none superior.

O God of all gods, you alone are my mother, father, kinsman, friend, knowledge and wealth. You are everything to me.

United Kingdom

Mohanji UK family got together at the Quakers Hall, Rayners Lane, on the evening of 13th July to celebrate Guru Purnima together.

It was an exciting moment that the team came together again at the venue of our usual meditation center which had stopped over 2 years since Covid lockdown, and also meeting again just after the recent programs with Mohanji during his visit to the UK.

Many participants across the country who couldn’t join this physical gathering joined via Zoom online platform.

Everyone gathered and offered their respect to Guru through the Guru Paduka Puja amidst the chanting of Guru Paduka Stotram chant.

Then a series of devotion songs were sung by many devotees that filled in some emotional moments too, with a feeling of Mohanji’s presence.

Subhasree Thottungal, Mohanji Acharya, then spoke about the essence and significance of celebrating Guru Purnima and how this is in perfect synchronicity with Mohanji’s core teaching, “BE YOU”.

Chairman Vijay Ramanaidoo then spoke about the true meaning of connecting to Guru via selfless service, and he gave the example of the Act4Ukraine project. He also announced the new project of “ACT4SRILANKA” that the team has taken up, inspired by Mohanji.

Many devotees then shared their experiences of their journey with Mohanji, and their transformation.

Finally, everyone offered Aarati to Mohanji and then it was time to enjoy the home-cooked delicious vegan prasad that everyone had made and brought with so much love.

Devotion, music, motivation, emotion and scrumptious food – it was a complete platter of contentment and satisfaction for all.

An event celebrated well!

Netherlands

On this beautiful, sunny, auspicious day of Guru Purnima on a land surrounded by water which made it even more auspicious to include all 5 elements: Earth, Fire, Air, Water and Either, as an honouring to all the Masters we have conducted a sacred Homa fire ceremony.

Whoever was there was able to write down on a paper everything they would like to eliminate from their life and burn it in the fire, which helps reduce the karmic burden of this lifetime.

Kannaiah and Lennart from GKS Nederlands made it even more beautiful with chanting the sacred chants while the rest were meditating in silence.

Letting go of past heaviness and ready for a new fresh start in life the day ended with an amazing sunset and prasad made by the lovely ladies from Shri Lanka.

13 July, a beautiful, sunny, special day, the day of Guru Poornima we were on a country in Onderdijk, surrounded by water which made it even better to experience all the 5 elements Earth, Fire, Air, Water and Either. To honour all the Masters we held a sacred Homa fire ceremony.

Everyone who attended could write down on a piece of paper everything they would like to remove from their lives and burn it in the fire, which helps reduce the karmic burden of this life .

Kannaiah and Lennart of GKS Nederland made it even more beautiful by reciting the Sri Rudram while the rest meditated in silence.

Ended the day with a beautiful sunset and prasad made by the lovely ladies of Sri Lanka .

Denmark and Nepal

On Guru Purnima Mohanji Denmark, together with Mohanji Nepal, arranged annadan in Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Nepal, through our ACT4Hunger volunteers in Nepal.

In Denmark, we have community charity dinners for the benefit of underprivileged people in Nepal on a bi-weekly basis. This is a wonderful way to socialize and introduce Mohanji platforms to more people.

But for the special day, people from across the world within the Mohanji family eagerly contributed because they understood that feeding the Sadhus and disabled people living in the Pashupatinath temple area on the auspicious day of Guru Purnima was an opportunity of a lifetime.

The team served 300 kilos of dry rations to the Sadhus and disabled people in Pashupatinath, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Each ration package contained 10 kgs of rice, dahl, tea, sugar and ginger.

“Serving sadhus and needy people with rations gave great satisfaction. Getting blessings on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima from Sadhus made my day! Thank you, Mohanji Family, for organising Annadaan and giving me chance to serve them and get blessings. I would love to be part of your other further programs. Thank you.” Said Volunteer Manoj.

Croatia

This year we celebrated Guru Purnima in Split. Helena Bjelaković, Mohanji Acharya, held a program of Conscious Mantra Chanting and Conscious Dancing. At the beginning of the program, Ivana Surya, a student of the Himalayan School of Traditional Dance, held a short Kathak dance. For the first time in Croatia, participants from other cities (Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, Nova Gradiška, Barcelona) took part in the program via Zoom. At the end of the program, we performed Arti and stayed to enjoy the wonderful energy that connected us.
ACT Croatia team visited farm animals sanctuary ‘Grgin konak’ and donated 39 kg of animal food. In Split, ACT Croatia volunteers cooked 40 vegan meals for homeless people. ACT volunteers in Pula visited a shelter for the homeless and donated 34 kg of fruits. (See ACT Foundation below)

Serbia

On 13th July, full moon day, in a joyous atmosphere, full of love and comradeship, we marked Guru Purnima – Day dedicated to gratitude to all teachers. This year, we celebrated this day in Mohanji Centres in Belgrade and Novi Sad.

All attendees enjoyed the dance performance by the Himalayan School of Traditional Dance. This type of dance which represents a unity of dance movements with deeper meaning and carefully selected music led us through ancient India. There was also mantra chanting, experience sharing and transformations that people experienced with him.

In Belgrade, the celebration was enriched with the performance and songs by the Lotus band, and in Novi Sad, by Natalija Mejandzijev.

Everything was spiced up with delicious vegan snacks – how else could it be?

Individual expressions of gratitude

By Giselle Mehta from India:

On Guru Poornima this year, I appreciate the opportunity to acknowledge the Guru’s presence in my life,  with a focus on the previous year.

My connection with the Guru has been an immense reassurance amidst the dangers and desolation of nights when I venture out to feed animals. I discern his handiwork in difficult acts of animal rescue and welfare activities that happen within my circle.

A desire of mine to attend a Mohanji program in Shirdi was fulfilled with the retreat in December 2021. It was an even bigger dream come true when Mohanji and family briefly stopped by at my home in Mangalore on the way back from their visit to the Kollur Mookambika temple. Mohanji and his lovely group spent some time on the beach adjoining my house. A week later, on New Year’s day 2022  there was an unusual natural phenomenon. My daughter and her friend had got into the water when they were suddenly surrounded by schools of fish and a pod of dancing dolphins. There have been no dolphin sightings that have been reported in this stretch of waters. I would term it the “Mohanji effect”- a gift of cosmic connection to a family of animal lovers from a spiritual figure who stands out in rare empathy for all beings. Awed…

In December, I commenced Bharatanatyam classes with HSTD. I was apprehensive about this bold leap having sustained fractures in both my ankles in the recent past. The fracture in my left ankle had not fully healed and I walked with a limp. My initial classes were with elastic bandages on; I  feared  the vigorous stamping and leg movements might hamper healing and aggravate injury. But my determination to avail the learning opportunity was strong and I surrendered to the Guru to get me through the challenges of each class. After a few classes, I shed the bandages and forgot about my injuries. My limp is a thing of the past, and I feel I now walk with a spring in my step. I  look forward to my weekly tryst with classical dance mentored by my lovely teachers and the subtle presence of the Guru.

The Empowerment programs I attended online propelled me into an active mode in some pending  areas of personal passion. The journey to discover and value one’s personhood  is indeed a precious  and practical takeaway. Love and Gratitude for each day’s growth in  consciousness…

By Farshad from USA

By Ruchika Gandhi from India:

When I try to look for words, I find only stillness and deep joy within.
When I try to think how best to express my feelings, I only find to serve all beings and witness their smiles.
And then I find You are in me and everyone around me.
When I think of you, I think of me
When I think of me, I think of you.
When this you and me is dissolved, the ocean of unfathomable love is born.
When I seek outside, you tell me to seek within. And then when I seek within, I lose everything.

Gratitude father for everything. Words may not be able to describe the grace and blessings you have showered on me and my family. Thank you for receiving me, loving me, guiding me and showing me the path of light within and without. Love you deva. Pranams at thy lotus feet.

By Sandra Sankar from South Africa:

Please hold my hand.
Please Fill me with your consciousness.
Please guide me.
Please accept me.
Please grace me.

You sitting in my heart center.
You are singing.

Every bit of my soul and being loves you.

LOVE YOU.

Jai Mohanji

By Palak Mehta from India:

I don’t remember the day I was born, but I remember the day I found out why thanks to Mohanji! And it made my life complete.
Blessed are those who meet a true Master to guide them to find themselves.
It takes lifetimes to even recognise a true Master. He found me, and rescued me from my aimless, destructive self and guided me to light. I’m so grateful to have met Him in this life!

By Swami Bhaktananda from South Africa:

I asked myself how do I thank the person who has changed everything in my life. How do I thank the person that saved me from my own mind? How do I thank the person that saved me from so much pain, that I did not even know was there?

And I don’t really know. I don’t know how to say thank you for saving me when had no self-value. I don’t know how to say thank you to the person that held me together when my parents died. I do not know how to say thank you to the person who stood by me when I was alone.

All I can say now is I love you. All I can say is Happy Guru Poornima. All I can do is prostrate to you feet with all my heart.

By Smriti Mathur from Australia

By Ulla Bernholdt from Denmark:

Mohanji the Ultimate Sacrifice

How can I speak of the stature of my Guru?
I never knew him.
The most ordinary of men but still not a man.
I can only speak about my experience.

Mohanji, when I first met you, in an instant, you gave me everything I could ever think of.
Still, you keep giving and only giving. Never asking for anything in return.

No desire of mine is too big, too small or too silly.
To you, it’s all the same.
You sacrificed your own life so that I can have a life of fulfilment and transformation, ensuring I don’t need to return.

You are there for me through time and space.
Even in my dreams, you are there, always serving me.
When not possible in the daytime you allow me to be with you in my sleep.

My biggest desire is to serve you
But how is that possible?
You never needed anything from me.

Please let me serve you through thousands of mouths of those in need.
May I only see your face and your feet in everyone I meet.

Father, I bow at your holy feet on this Guru Purnima and every day.

My deepest respect and Love,
Ulla

In Reverence of Guru Purnima 2021

On this auspicious day of full moon, 24th July, 2021, Mohanji has shared a message on the importance of Guru Purnima as an opportunity to connect to our inner Guru, a state or a space that can elevate us to our highest level, the highest potential of our existence on Earth. Read his full message here.

A lot of people around the world expressed gratitude in various ways, which you can see below.

Festival of Consciousness

After nine years of retreats, now first-ever, a big Festival of Consciousness was organised and again in Serbia, in the Balkans.
This festival was born from a desire to create an extraordinarily positive platform, which delights both mind and body, that guides people to connect with their most authentic self. The courage to connect is a necessary remedy for the stress of modern living. The vision of the festival is to take people to a liberated existence, free from the bindings of the mind through awareness, self-acceptance and nurturing the universal values of truth, purity, compassion, non-violence and unconditional love. With the goal of creating a better world for the future, all our activities are united by a simple motto – Adding value to the world. Find out more here

USA Celebrations

Guru Purnima – Offered in love to our beloved Mohanji

The USA family had organized a very grand Guru Purnima celebration this year starting on July 1.  A 21-day program daily evening variety program beginning on Thursday, July 1 ended on July 21st.  Each day’s program was unique and offered a special perspective/practice from the teachings of our beloved Guru Mohanji. Thursday, July 22nd was set aside as a day of service or seva. We culminated the celebration on July 23rd, the day of Guru Purnima itself, by honoring Brahmarishi Mohanji with an elaborate Guru Paduka Puja followed by various chants and bhajan/kirtan evening.

The 21-day program kicked off with an introduction where Mohanji Acharya Lata Ganesh and Andra Baylus, both from Virginia, spoke about the significance of a spiritual master or Guru in a person’s life and the concept of the Guru tattva (Guru principle).

On the second day, Sreyashi Chakraborty (Indiana) introduced Mohanji’s signature Power of Purity meditation, which always has a powerful impact on participants and where many feel the presence of the master.

The third day was a Saturday evening, well-timed for a relaxing ‘bhajan sandhya’ or evening of devotional music. The singers presenting bhajans of their choice were Sreyashi (Indiana), Geeta and Vandana (California), Jayashree (Iowa), Anu and Lata (Virginia) and young VishnuPriya (New Jersey).

On Sunday July 4, Mai-tri practitioner Tina Arya (Michigan) conducted a healing and restoring Online Mai-tri session.

On Monday July 5, Mohanji Acharya Bhavani (NY) gave a talk on the significance of the Supreme Feminine followed by playing of Mohanji’s recitation of the Devi Kavacham. This Sanskrit chant is said to create the effect of a shield of protection from negativity as a blessing from the Divine Mother, and participants spoke up after the program to share that they could feel powerful waves of energy while they listened to the chanting.

On July 6, Mohanji Acharya Vidya Iyengar (Florida) read sections from Mohanji’s book ‘The Power of Purity’, followed by a discussion.

The first week ended with a topic discussion on Surrender, conducted by Sreyashi (Indiana) and Sabyasachi (Maryland). There was lively participation from the audience who shared their life experiences on the subject.

The second week started with a talk and discussion on the Golden Datta Tradition by Sabyasachi and Mohanji Acharya Jaya, who also chanted the Siddha Mangala Stotra, a hymn attributed to the first guru of the Datta Tradition, Sripada Srivallabha.

The next day July 9 was fortuitously New Moon Day as well as Lord Shiva’s asterism or Arudra nakshatra. Mohanji Acharya Geeta Iyer, gave a short introduction to, and recited the Shri Rudram. This Sanskrit chant is renowned as the most powerful protective and healing hymn associated with Lord Shiva.

The next day was a Saturday, a good day to sit down to do the long 360 degrees meditation. This was introduced by Jyoti Lal (Texas). There was a feeling of deep peace and centeredness in participants after the meditation.

Sunday July 11 was an evening of kirtan or devotional singing led by Mohanji Acharya Natesh Ramsell (Sedona, Arizona), on his guitar. He is well-known in the US kirtan circles, having cut many CDs to his name.

The next day was a much-awaited day of experience-sharing by those in the US family, who had traveled to Mount Kailash with Mohanji. These were Mohanji Acharyas Bimal and Bhavani (New York), Vidya Rajagopalan (Connecticut) and Tina Arya (Michigan) who kept the audience rapt with their memories of that pilgrimage. This was followed by a playing of Mohanji’s chanting of the sacred Shiva Kavacham.

The next day July 13 was chosen as an evening to chant Lord Krishna’s famous mantra ‘Om Namo Bhagavatey Vasudevaaya’ where Sreyashi, Geeta, Vidya Rajagopalan and Sumathi took turns to chant the mantra.

On July 14, there was a discussion on the topic of Gratitude conducted by Tina Arya and Kalpana Mewara(Texas), with the audience being welcomed to share their own thoughts and experiences.

The next day, Thursday, was the perfect day to listen to the VIshnu Sahasranama, as chanted by Sangeeth Jayanthan (NY). A brief introduction about this much-revered hymn of the thousand names of Lord Vishnu was given by Geeta Iyer.

On Friday, July 16 Mohanji Acharya Pia Puatrakul of Maryland a HSTY yoga instructor, conducted a relaxing yoga session for the benefit of the program participants.

Saturday July 17 was a delightful evening of music ensemble. Benjamin Sands Jr. Abhik Nath and Pia Puatrakul (all from Maryland) sang and played on their musical instruments, on the theme of Mohanji’s core teaching – Unconditional Love.  They were ably supported by a mesmerizing performance on the harp and cello by Laina (Sedona).

Mohanji Acharya Laurie Amodeo (NY) offered a second online Mai-tri session on Sunday July 18.

On Monday July 19, Lori (Sedona) and others joined to speak on the subject “In Gratitude with Nature”, based on the Dattatreya Tradition.

The next day happened to be the holy day of Ekadashi, and especially suited to chant mantras on Lord Rama. Mohanji Acharya Geeta spoke on the significance of the sacred name of Rama, followed by the chanting of ‘Shri Rama Jai Rama Jai Jai Rama’ by Jaya, Vidya I, Geeta and Vandana.

July 21 was chosen as a day to have a topic discussion about Guru’s Grace. Jayashree and Manu (Virginia) shared their thoughts and were joined by several members of the audience who spoke with gratitude about their experiences.

All in all, it was a beautiful series, helping the participants to build up connection to Guru Mohanji as well as cleanse, energize and stabilize themselves in preparation for Guru Purnima on July 23rd, a day when blessings from the compassionate and benevolent Guru are said to pour down on those who have prepared themselves to receive.

Thursday, July 22 was dedicated to food seva, annadhan.  Teams from around the USA served food at various local centers.  Anu and Lata served cooked food and fruits at the Lamb Center Homeless Shelter in Fairfax, Virginia.  Texas teams headed by Lakshmi Nair and Jyoti Lal for cattle feed at the Texas, Gaushala, and The City House Homeless Shelter in Houston, respectively. The members also served prasadam at the local Shirdi Sai Baba temple. Shambo and Uma in Connecticut walked around the streets offering warm food to the hungry. Our children from Mohanji families, Aeshon (California), Cooper (Tennesse) continue to offer unconditional seva in their communities and are a great inspiration. Detailed reporting will be provided by ACT USA Team.

As you have seen Mohanji family spread around the United States came together in unison, harmony, love and purpose to acknowledge, celebrate, experience and share the extraordinarily magnificent Grace of Mohanji.  Friday, July 23rd was a beautiful culmination of offering Gratitude to Mohanji.  A day started with group Consciousness Kriya sessions at brahmamuhurta, bringing together several CK practitioners within the country.

As the moon was illuminating the skies in the east coast, we started our Guru Purnima function with a very loving and devotional Guru Paduka Puja and the chanting of Mohanji Ashtotra Namavali by the group in Virginia.  Followed by the Guru Paduka Stotram offered at Mohanji’s lotus feet in New Jersey (Sangeeth) and the Siddha Mangala Stotram offered to our Golden Datta Tradition in Iowa (Jaya).  The sublimity of the auspicious occasion was heightened by sweet devotional singing once again bringing together our bhajan singers from California (Ashish and Runa) to Sedona (Natesh), Indiana (Sreyashi) New Jersey (Vishnupriya) and Virginia Lata, Ben and Anu).  Benjamin Sands offering of “Unconditional Love” was followed by Natesh’s “Guru Mohana Charanam Sharanam…”, a befitting conclusion to this auspicious day.

Please watch Guru Purnima Celebration on Mohanji USA Facebook page.

2021 Gurupurnima energized the entire country with a new wave of positivity and hope as we look forward for Mohanji’s exclusive USA satsang on August 14. Jai Mohanji.

Guru Poornima mantra chanting

Mohanji1

By Nirupma Chowdhary, India

Today (on Guru Purnima), I had a profound experience during our Google Meet get together which was arranged to chant the new mantra that Mohanji had given us during the Guru Poornima week. We were to chant this mantra with all the new initiates.

Yesterday, I received a message from Aditya, our country head. He asked me if I could chant this new mantra live, exclusively for the new initiates for an hour. Then he messaged saying it had to be done on Google Meet. I informed him that I didn’t have the app and could do it only on my phone. There was no reply or message from him yesterday.

This morning I got up and listened to Mohanji’s Guru Poornima message and was trying to finish my daily chores before the eclipse started. The first thing on my mind was to chant this powerful and beautiful mantra 108 times. I lit the lamp and did the chanting. It was around 8:55 am when my phone rang and it was Aditya calling.

He said, “Nirupmaji, start chanting the new mantra at 9 am on Google Meet.” I was shocked and not prepared. I told him that I didn’t have Google Meet. He was as cool as ever and asked me to download it immediately. Believe me, I just had a few minutes to set the altar, change clothes, and start the session.

With Mohanji’s grace, we managed to start at 9:05 am. The chanting began, and to my surprise, it was not my voice that I could hear. Slowly the momentum began. I felt a few souls near me playing string instruments. They were all dressed in white, translucent clothes.

As we were chanting, Mohanji came and sat on a decorated wooden stool with his feet resting on a brass plate. Many people came and started doing abhishekam (ritual bathing) with milk, curd, honey and water. Then he got up, went to change and came back and sat on a chair. Everyone applied tilak (mark on the forehead), placed garlands  on his neck and tied sacred threads on his wrist. And to my amazement, now I was chanting each chant in a different voice corresponding to the person offering prayers to Mohanji.

My spine started burning slowly and heat reached my crown chakra. I felt that I would faint. Suddenly, I felt Mohanji’s hand on my head and it took away all the heat. Feeling blissful at that moment, I continued chanting for an hour. The mantra is very powerful and it took me to a different realm altogether in the presence of my Guru, where I chanted all through his abhishekam and puja.

Do request for this mantra (by writing an email to acharyas@mohanji.org) and experience the bliss it brings.

By Raghvendra Pandey, India

I have had several experiences of Sai Baba from late 2018, after Dussehra. By Baba’s grace, I started overcoming a long battle with depression and was even blessed with a baby boy in December 2019. I started to watch a lot of Mohanji’s videos on YouTube and became curious to understand more about life and its purpose. I began to watch more and more of these videos.

I also started to chat with Mohanji Acharyas on Facebook about my depression. I recently had my first Mai-Tri session and got to know about the Power of Purity meditation as well. I recently had a dream where I could hear a voice saying something about Jnaneshwar and Lord Shiva. It was a long discussion in the dream, but in the morning I remembered only Jnaneshwar and Lord Shiva (these 2 names). Soon I forgot about it, but yesterday I saw a video on YouTube where Gautamji was talking about Jnaneshwar and Guru Poornima.

Sathya Sai
Sathya Sai Baba

Then I realised that I should join the group which was learning the new mantra. While chanting the new mantra, I saw Mohanji throwing ashes and also Sathya Sai Baba. I just finished another session of chanting this new mantra, and my heart is filled with love and gratitude.

In Remembrance of Guru Purnima 2020

“This is the day for respecting the masters. This is the day that we remember to respect them because most of the days we take them for granted; we take their teachings for granted. We take Gurus for granted. We take ourselves for granted. Hence, this is the beautiful day to remember who we are, who they are; and eventually, how we are together.

There is no Guru outside of you apart from the Guru inside of you. If you are eligible for a Master, the Master has to happen; you will create that Master. The Master manifests by itself because you deserved a Master. If you’re ready for an information, that information must reach you. This is the law of nature.”

Verses of Faith

‘Grace’ was just another  word
Till You came into our lives;
Be it personal, professional or spiritual, Every aspect could feel its vibes.

‘Gratitude’ was just a thank you word
Till You taught us what it means;
For life, for breath, for food, for family
To  express every moment; has got into our  genes.

‘Surrender’ we never comprehended this word,
Till we did this to you and saw the  change;
The persona transformed
So did every  speck within our range.

‘Purity’ could be such a meaningful word,
Did not we ever realise ;
It should be in thoughts, words and actions
Your teachings made us to imbibe and prioritise.

‘God’ we knew the word,
‘Guru’ we comprehended the word;
But little did we fathom their vastness
Till your presence guided us to light from darkness.

Give them wings to fly

Not binding nor bound

Giving us strength to Accept

Kalpataru series – Blessings manifold during Guru Purnima 2019

DeviAmmaandMandDevi-2

By Rekha Murali, India

On this joyous occasion of Guru Purnima of July 2020, I was transported back to the celebrations last year. My heart wells up in gratitude as I relive the moments of the blissful day in the presence of two great Masters. Yes indeed, blessings were showered on all those present there, by both, my Guru Mohanji and the great Siddha Devi Amma.

It all started with a sudden desire to be in Mohanji’s presence for at least one Guru Purnima. This was wish one on my checklist. Things worked out smoothly, I could rearrange my commitments and soon found myself comfortably on the way to Bangalore for a satsang that was announced with Mohanji.

Deep down, I had another wish to meet Devi Amma on this auspicious day. Chances did not seem so bright as she lived far away from the main city and my stay in the city was only for a day. Moreover, the satsang was planned on the other side of the town. But on my way to Bangalore, I got a message from a dear friend that Devi Amma would be present for the satsang with Mohanji. The second wish on my checklist was also fulfilled.

With a heart filled with gratitude, I soon found myself in a taxi on the way to the venue. As I got off at the station, the Uber app which I relied on, stopped working and I couldn’t find a single cab. A man suddenly approached me and showed me his Uber credentials and was willing to take me to the venue for a flat rate which was reasonable. I had done my homework previously. I thought I was very lucky while on my way. But soon he started asking me for extra fare and I slowly started praying to Mohanji till we reached the venue. I did not interact much with him and quickly alighted from the cab giving him the money that we had initially agreed upon. So with thanks on my lips, I went into the venue and was soon involved in the preparations for Mohanji’s arrival.

Aditya Nagpal and I were assigned the seva of manning the front desk.  Soon Mohanji arrived with his parents and Devi Mohan, and all of us assembled in the room waiting for Devi Amma. Mohanji teased Aditya a lot but did not say anything to me.  I had the opportunity in the meantime to present a bouquet of flowers to Mohanji on the request of a devotee who couldn’t be present there. Devi Amma arrived and all of us assembled once again in pure happiness and bliss at this double treat of seeing two great Masters together. They appeared as the powerful Shiva and Shakti! A moment to be cherished for lifetimes!

The satsang commenced and both great Masters answered various questions.  Aditya and I were seated at the back and my eyes were just closing and I could not understand anything of what Mohanji was speaking. I was just floating in the energy of the place and nothing entered my thick skull. Aditya then shared that it was because of the high energy in the room. At the back of the mind, I also had a sudden desire for Shaktipat from Mohanji and felt only then would this trip be complete. Wish number three on my checklist was also fulfilled as Mohanji announced that he would give Shaktipat to all those present. My heart danced in joy and I patiently awaited my turn.

I soon approached Mohanji with a racing heart as for no reason I was simply brimming with happiness. As Mohanji gave me Shaktipat, I was overjoyed and it felt as though I needed nothing more. I was grinning from ear to ear, in joy that is indescribable.  This had never happened before. It was the pure joy of just ‘being’ with no thoughts, completely empty and fully present in a moment of bliss. Usually, I would be solemn and just allow the Master to fill me up. However this time, I felt he had given me everything. After the Shaktipat, he quietly held my hands and gently asked me, “Are you happy?” These three words made me understand how he hears each word that is unspoken and fulfills the smallest of wishes that flit across in our thoughts. Till then I had not spoken to him and in reply, all that I could do was mumble a yes with tears of joy streaming down my face. His unconditional love filled up completely.

rekha gp

With his blessings, I ran into the loving embrace of Devi Amma.  She hugged me, blessed me, enquired about every family member, particularly about my son, and at the same time blessing him. My cup was full and I couldn’t have asked for more.

rekha2

It ended all too soon and it was time to return. My friend Radha Sreenivas and I had no transport to return to the city and there were no cabs available. We were trying our best to get a cab but somehow I was not worried.  I just assured Radha that we would ask someone to drop us off at a place where we could get cabs. Most of the people had left by then and as we were finishing our dinner, a guest whom I had not met before, joined us at the table. She (Mini Gopinath) overheard the two of us trying to book a cab and gently offered to drop us off in her car. Thank you, Mini. It turned out that she had to go to the exact same area where I was heading! Need I say more? Although he was not present there, Mohanji ensured that everyone returned safely. As he always says, “I do my job!”

On this Guru Purnima, I bow down in gratitude to this wonderful friend, Guide and Master Mohanji who has been a beacon of light leading me gently towards my destination.

Pranaams dear Mohanji with gratitude and love.

Pranaams dear Devi Amma, in whose love I melt and just merge.

A precious Gift

Mohanji blessing

by Sakshi Gupta, Jammu India

I’m always with you. – Mohanji

Every breath is a gift from Mohanji. So many times in my life, I have experienced how Mohanji has literally saved me in various situations.

16th July was Guru Purnima. I was yearning to be with Mohanji, but due to various commitments, I couldn’t make it to Bangalore. I was upset that I could not meet him physically. However I have no complaints, as thanks to Mohanji Foundation, we had darshan of Mohanji and Devi Amma’s beautiful satsang live on Facebook.

Mohanji and Devi Amma

The next day, on 17th July, I slipped and had a bad fall  at home. Mohanji literally held my hand and reduced the impact of the fall. There were no injuries  at all, except that my right ankle got twisted. A major head injury was prevented. My heart knows this was purely Mohanji’s protection. I sincerely thanked Him in my heart.

Due to the twist in my ankle, I couldn’t walk for 2 days. I did not inform Mohanji about all this, as I felt that He knows everything.

The reason for sharing all this is because what happened couple of nights later (20th July) was just amazing. All these events appear to be linked.

mohanji-4

That night I woke up at 3 am. I was not feeling well, so I read a blog by Lata on her experiences at the Kumbh. After reading, I went back to sleep. Then in my dream, Mohanji came and took my husband and me to a very old Hanumanji’s temple. It was a cave which had images of all the Devis and Devatas. At the back of the cave was Hanumanji’s temple. There we did a pooja and Mohanji applied orange colour kumkum on our foreheads. After the pooja, Mohanji asked me, “How’s your foot?” He took my foot in His hands and blessed my foot. He closed his eyes and gave me healing.

Immediately after that, I woke up and the pain was gone. In excitement, I jumped out of my bed and realised that the pain had really  gone. No pain at all! Everything including the swelling had gone. Mohanji  took away my pain and healed me.

mohanji on evolving

I had wanted to meet Him. He gave me darshan, and even took me to a beautiful Hanumanji’s shrine. Not only that, He healed my physical pain also through His divine darshan in the dream.

Mohanji truely means it when He says ” I am with you.” He makes sure that we feel His presence when we need it. The divine dream that I had was a clear evidence of this.

I felt this was a precious and blessed gift for me from Mohanji for Guru Purnima! My head bows to my Guru with gratitude.

I am always at your lotus feet, dear Mohanji!

Guru Purnima Celebration Worldwide 2019

Mohanji’s Guru Purnima Message

“Dear Embodiments of love,

I wish you a very happy and fulfilling Guru Purnima. We have spoken about various aspects of existence over the year, so I don’t want to repeat quite a lot of the same stuff, but I would like to remind you about one important aspect as you walk the path of spirituality.

God as we perceive is pure consciousness – formless, pure energy, pure brightness. Your soul is pure brightness. It is the source of all elements, elements which have created the body i.e. earth, water, fire, air, space. All these elements have their source in the Soul or God which is the same. Soul is pure brightness, God is pure brightness, Guru who has attained, confirmed, merged or integrated into God is pure brightness. So Guru – Soul – God are more or less the same.

What do you see on Guru outside of you?

A reminder. A direction. A road map. That’s it. However, the more you connect with yourself, the brightness within you, the brightness which is your original state, that’s exactly when you actually connect to a Guru. And when you see that brightness in every being outside of you, then you see Guru in every being. So Guru is in every being. Guru is in everything.

Look at the source of all things. Even if it is anger, hatred, jealousy kind of thing or even if it is a feeling, a wind blowing, breeze, sounds… Look at the source of all things around you, you will understand that there is energy behind it. Without that energy, there is no movement, there is no aspect, there is no life.

This life is Guru. Energy behind all life is Guru. That’s the principle I would like you to remember today on Guru Purnima.”

Jai Mohanji, Pretoria East centre celebrated GuruPoornima today in honour of Our Beloved Brahmarishi Mohanji. We began with Guru Puja while offering white rice onto Baba’s paduka’s. After the Guru Puja, we chanted Mohanji’s Gayatri mantra.

In 2016, my Mosie passed away. She would have celebrated another birthday on July 16th. The days leading to the 13th day after her passing was spent listening to the normal Gayatri mantra which played continuously. After we did Mohanji’s Aarti, we were astounded as the Gayatri mantra started to play, and it wasn’t even next on the playlist.

Thank you Mohanji for always taking care. The energy from the puja and the chanting was amazing and left us feeling embodied in Mohanji’s love and light. Love you Mohanji, you hear us even when we say nothing.

RANDBURG

Mohanji Centre Randburg – Reported by Ami Hughes

Mohanji Centre – Randburg (MC-R) also observed Guru Poornima.

Due to this auspicious occasion falling on a work day for most of us, our programme was set for 6 pm.

What a magnificent blessing it was to participate in the sacred event, saturated in our Beloved Mohanji’s Grace and Love.

Six people attended, including hosts Mr and Mrs Oliver and Julie Reddy, Surika, Priscilla and Megan.

As we settled in and became quieter, we could feel the unmistakable Presence of Love hugging us, so silk smooth soft.

Everyone there was beautifully present.

We opened with invocation, and flowed into the 108 chants of Mohanji Gayathri.

It was a Heart and Soul slow rhythmic chant which steadily built up a vortex of swirling sacred Energy. It blanketed the whole shrine. The whole atmosphere began to pulse with the heightening frequencies of the chanting. We were in the Powerful Arms of our Guru and the mighty Datta Tradition He represents.

Our Pada Puja followed – led by Mohanji Acharya Ami.

All of us made offerings of rice grains – soaked in Gratitude, and our Thanks and Love – to the Holy Lotus Feet of our Beloved Guru – Mohanji.

Ami also chanted the Mohanji Saranam Ashtakam and read the English meaning to add impetus, and ended our Pada Puja with the chanting of the Mohanji Kavacham.

Now we were ready for the Freedom Meditation.

What a sweet experience it was – a taste of Celestial Nectar – in the heart-melting voice of our Mohanji.

It was a deeply moving experience, touching each one to the core.

We were literally flying as we did Aarthi in conclusion of our Guru Poornima celebration.

All Praise and Thanks to You Mohanji – our Beloved SadhGuru.

We know Your physical form, but can only guess at Your operating levels beyond form – and still we would fall far, far short in our imaginings of just Who and What You are.

Happy Guru Poornima Mohanji – from MC-R

LADYSMITH

Reported by Salona and Sholane Surjoo

In celebration of Guru Purnima and gratitude to Guru Brahmarishi Mohanji, Megatude Education Centre in Ladysmith hosted a kids art session and Freedom meditation. 16 little ones joined in for a combination of art and meditation for kids has been in my heart and thoughts for a little while now so what a better day to start than on Guru Purnima. The kids were first asked to draw a picture from their imagination followed by Freedom meditation and then again afterwards drew another picture. There were distinct differences in the art work before and after meditation. The use of more colour, bigger brighter drawings and more creative pictures were made after the meditation. The kids had more confidence and peer interaction afterwards. Most of these kids experienced meditation for the first time, yet they were able to sit the entire ten minutes of the Freedom meditation.

MALAYSIA

On Sunday 14 July 2019, a group of us from Mohanji family, Satya Sai Baba , Shirdi Baba and Agasthiar followers gathered in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate Guru Purnima, a day to pay homage to our gurus who have given us so much and continue to give and love us unconditionally, guiding and protecting us in our soul journey.

The day started with Aarti performed by the owner of the house. Each took turns to perform abishegam on the padukas of Mohanji and Shirdi Babas murthy. It was a beautiful sight to behold as each person lovingly poured milk (vegan) and offered flowers.

The chanting of AUM charged up the whole space . The chanting of Rudram by our young Satya Sai Baba devotee really touched me to the core. Bhajans were rendered individually by the youngest of 10 years old to the oldest amongst us of 74 years old. Such angelic and lovely voicest filling the air with so much devotion and love.During Aarti, I felt tears flowing remembering how Mohanji had remained in my life holding my hands through thick and thin and with so much unconditional love despite the little I give in return.

Malaysia - Guru Purnima 2019 - Mohanji

Mohanji’s presence was felt very strongly and two persons had also felt the presence of Satya Sai Baba as the abishegam on Shirdi Baba’s murthy was performed with the gayari mantra chanted by Satya Sai Baba in the background.

The owner of the house was so happy this day as he had long harboured the desire of us holding a celebration at his new house. It so happened that our centre was being used for some work project and we had to find another location for the celebration. Mohanji hears us all the time and grants us our deepest desires.

SERBIA

NOVI SAD

In Novi Sad, on the day of light when we express gratitude and respect to spiritual teachers, Guru principle in us and to the Tradition, Guru Purnima was celebrated in Datta Tapovan centre.

We listened to Mohanji’s Guru Purnima message and afterwards we dived into “Power of Purity” meditation. We changed Mohanji Gayatri mantru 108 times and during the sacred song of gratitude (aratija) we opened our heart and expressed our deep gratitude towards Mohanji as well as all masters of Datta tradition, for their guidance on the path towards liberation, for their sontinuous presence, protection and immeasurable love they give us.

While reading the key messages from “SHri Sai Satcharithra” about Shirdi Sai Baba, through tears we were reminded what a blessing it is to meet Guru in this life, as well as to be in Mohanji’s physical presence, Master in his physical body.

Serbia - Novi Sad - Guru PUrnima 2019 - Mohanji - Datta Tapovan

In Belgrade about 20 of us gathered. The evening was opened by Nikolina Dragojevic, Mohanji Acharya, who has spent this year in India.

As grateful for the blessing that Mohanji is our Guru, as for all other masters, we started “Bliss of Silence meditation”. After the meditation, we received Mohanji energy transfer and went on to chant Mohanji Gayatri mantra 108 times. During the chanting, we breathed as One.

Throughout the evening, Mohanji’s presence could be felt. It was the most tangible during the energy transfer when tears of bliss, deep gratitude and laughter occurred.

We left after Aarati, bathed in love and energised.

UNITED KINGDOM

16th July 2019. Guru Poornima. A much awaited auspicious day for all disciples to express their gratitude to their Guru.
This was a day filled with devotion and love for Mohanji and spent in utmost joy in the consciousness of Mohanji by Mohanji UK family. Many devotees participated all day, half day or even for sometime during the day at the venue in Pinner where the special event was being celebrated.
The day begun with M UK family gathering up from 5:30 am onwards, setting up the altar and commencing the auspicious ritual with Aarati at 6 am.
Then everyone presented, offered their gratitude to Mohanji through Paaduka puja amidst the chant of Guru Paaduka Shloka sung by devotees, followed by Mohanji Ashtottari (108) name chanting.
All present devotees were Kriya initiates! Doing Kriya together after such powerful chanting and Paaduka puja was a powerhouse experience! With UK Summer morning Sunshine brightening up the room, it felt like “Sata Sahasra Surya” (100 thousand Sun) Mohanji’s power gracing all.

After scrumptious homemade vegan South Indian breakfast, the programme continued with Bhajan singing.
One after another after another, all devotees were completely merged into the ocean of devotion through the bhajan singing, which soon turned into the act of merging into Guru’s raasa leela, everyone getting up on their feet, deep into Conscious Dancing. Needless to say that everyone felt Mohanji sitting in the chair laughing with them, cheering them and being with everyone in every moment. Mohanji’s fragrance had completely mesmerised everyone.
Immediately after the noon Arati, everyone’s joy knew know limit to watch the Live telecast of Mohanji’s satsang straight from Bangalore. During this time more people kept joining us.

United Kingdom - Guru Purnima 2019 - Mohanji
After vegan lunch, the satsang amongst the devotees continued. Experience sharing was so powerful that all had tears, laughters, all shades of emotions showing their gratitude and love for Mohanji who has brought so much joy in everyone’s life.
It was heartening to see a particular family turning up with their specially-abled child currently going through even challenging serious condition. Mohanji’s grace on this family have been so immense. They have physically never met, but through Consciousness and through Mai Tri the family has come in the shield of protection of Mohanji. When the family walked in and the child was put on the sofa, which was right in front of Mohanji’s chair, no one sitting in between. The powerful grace and healing power from Mohanji was flowing to the child, a silent but powerful communion happening between them.
As we progressed towards afternoon, going for the evening Aarati, more people kept coming in to be part of this celebration. More singing, more dancing, just joy all around!
Mohanji’s presence without His physical presence was so strong, everyone felt as if Mohanji is physically sitting with us. More than 13 hours passed like 13 seconds! It was a day of heightened spirit in the consciousness of Mohanji.
Everyone’s face, their body language showed the eternal joy in unconditional love for Mohanji.
It’s actually beyond comprehension to express how Mohanji showered His love to all His devotees in the whole time!
The pictures may be able to express a tiny bit.

USA

VIRGINIA

The Guru Poornima celebration at the Mohanji USA center in Virginia started early morning with Guru Pooja – offering of flowers at padukas to the chanting of Mohanji Ashtotri (108 names), followed by aarati at 6.00 am. We then offered pooja to Shirdi Sai Moorti and padukas with chanting of Sai Potrigal, a beautiful set of 108 names of Sai Baba in Tamil. The morning worship ended just in time for our group to join the Satsang with Mohanji which was relayed live from Bangalore.

It was indeed a wonderful blessing that Mohanji appeared along with Devi Amma to bless all of us far and wide around the globe. The Divya Jyoti or effulgence from the Guru has no boundaries of time and space and permeates all over emanating bliss and joy and grace!

At our altar in Virginia, a pale orb of hazy light appeared on one of Mohanji’s photos. With a variety of images showing up on the photo, we could only think that it was a symbol of Shiva-Shakti manifestation, with the right side near the forehead reflecting vibhuti (holy ash) and the left side reflecting yellowish hue representing turmeric used in the worship of the supreme mother Goddess. The picture is shared below (The first one was taken in the morning after aarti when the images appeared, and the second one taken later in the evening which appears clear of any hue. We had not wiped the surface of the frame!)

After the Satsang, all those who had gathered in the celebration earlier, joined together to cook meals to take to a nearby homeless shelter. We prepared vegetable rice and mixed lentil soup and carried with us some water bottles and fruits. As I walked out of the house carrying the tray of rice pulao, it slipped and just fell from my hands. It was a moment where I was stunned at what just happened, however; it was indeed a blessing because the tray hit the floor in such a way that some grains fell out just enough for the birds to feed upon, and rest of the tray was intact. It was truly an amazing moment.

As it was getting late for us, I just left the dropped food on the pavement and drove to the shelter, thinking I can move it to the grass area when I get back because the pavement in the area is always clean.

The Lamb Center in Fairfax, Virginia, is a daytime drop-in for the poor and the homeless in the area. We had expected to just drop off the food which is normally served by the organization’s volunteers. However, when we arrived, the staff from the center welcomed us and showed us around the center about the various activities that they offer to the needy in the local community. This opened an opportunity for us to talk about Mohanji Foundation and all our activities that can benefit the community as well. Mohanji was present throughout the program because we ended up with a detailed discussion and the lovely lady who spent quite a bit of time with us, promised to organize a meeting with other members of their board to find ways for us to collaborate with them. Another sign of Mohanji’s presence without presence.

US - Guru Purnima 2019 - Virginia - Mohanji

After we left the shelter, my mind went back to the pavement and the rice that had fallen earlier. I was thinking, I must clean up the pavement and remove the vegetable rice fallen on the pavement to the front yard grassy area. Upon reaching back home, lo and behold, there was not a grain of rice or vegetable on the ground. The birds and squirrels had wiped them clean. With deep gratitude to the acceptance of the annadhan (food offering), we all came home and sat together and had a quick lunch to allow at least 2 hours before the start of the eclipse, even though it was not visible here.

After lunch, we once again sat together and listened to Mohanji’s Guru Poornima message and soaked in the energy of Devi Amma’s beautiful chants which segued smoothly into our chanting session at the start of the eclipse. We started with the Mahamrityunjaya mantra for an hour followed by Sai Nama and Mohanji Gayatri. The impalpable energy that emanated from this group chanting was extraordinary.

As the program progressed, more people joined. We also connected the event on zoom for people out of state to tune in. The chanting was followed by bhajans. In addition to our usual Sanskrit bhajans, Lauren rendered a soul-stirring native American prayer which touched all our hearts.

We concluded the day with group Consciousness Kriya and followed it with the Power of Purity Meditation. Mohanji’s energy transfer during POP meditation was extremely intense. Everyone who received it was overwhelmed with the intensity of the grace.

My mother who is visiting from Chennai prepared all the prasadam – offering to the Guru – during the day for each of the offerings before aarathi at 6 am, 12 pm and 6 pm.

Dhyaana moolam guror murtih; Pooja moolam guror padam;

Mantra moolam guror vakyam; Moksha moolam guror kripa.

(The basis of meditation is the form of the Guru, real worship is of the feet of the Guru, the basis of mantra is the word of the Guru and the bestowal of liberation is only through the Grace of the Guru) – Guru Stotram, Skanda Puran.

3. Maheshwari Mohanji

A few years ago, before meeting my beloved Guru Mohanji, I did not understand the true meaning of Guru Purnima. And although one can never fully understand Guru or the auspiciousness of such a day, i am truly grateful to Mohanji for walking into our lives and switching on the light.

Before meeting Mohanji, spiritual Masters were only known to me in scriptures. I could not imagine what it would be like to meet a living master, one who walks with you, loves you unconditionally, has no ego, pride, jealousy or any negative quality. One who lives for the world, selflessly, and asks nothing from anyone.
To me, the only One who has these qualities is my beloved Shiva. But to see Him, walk with Him in a human form was something out of this world.

Before meeting Mohanji, i have never met any human being who was so selfless, God-like, divine and especially anyone who really didn’t expect or ask anything from me.

So, the auspiciousness of Guru Purnima was not something I celebrated. I could not understand how any human being could make such a positive, selfless impact on another and that too, without asking anything in return,  no money, “guru fees”, nothing. As I mentioned before, only Lord Shiva had these qualities. He is my ultimate Master, my God and my Guru. So on days like this when people revered their Gurus, i would just give thanks to Shiva.

I can not describe nor explain the gratitude in my heart to even know such a being as Mohanji. And on this day and always, i give utter most thanks and gratitude to Guru for His presence in my life, for so much positive change, for emptying me of so much of negative stored emotions, for so much that i am not even aware of. And that too, He showed me that Yes, a real Guru can walk into your life, as a normal human being and help you(not only in scriptures).

The truth of His presence without presence

one with god

On this auspicious day of Guru Poornima, Mahesh shares with us a beautiful experience which yet again confirmed Mohanji’s presence in the Datta Tapovan ashram in Canada, although He was physically thousands of miles away.

The truth of His presence without presence

By Mahesh Bhalerao, Canada

The Datta Tapovan ashram was glowing. Mohanji was coming!  We were filled with so much joy. We did have our share of nervousness, but that nervousness was good, trying to keep everything perfect and in order for Mohanji’s arrival.

Tapovan Canada

Before Mohanji came, so many divine beings were making their presence felt too. One such unforgettable incident was when we felt Kamadhenu’s presence, though at that point we mistook it for cow dung smell!

Well, finally Mohanji came. We felt as if the brightness and warmth of the sun were appearing after a long, cold and dark, winter night. Yes, Mohanji filled whole the ashram with uncontainable and unlimited joy. Divine love flourished in every heart. 15 magical days filled with divinity. The sun rose, the sun set. But we remained awake in Mohanji’s Consciousness, in His love, 24/7.

Mahesh

Then the dreadful day came. It was time for Mohanji to go back. Other devotees in other parts of the world were waiting, His mission continues, the Avadhoota’s journey continues.

But how can my heart understand?  Greedy? Sadly, Yes. The heart didn’t want to bear the separation. The Master of my heart, Mohanji knew everything. Nothing is hidden from Him. He hears the cry coming out of each heart-beat.

He told me,

“Bhalerao, when I leave from here, don’t think that I am gone. Only my body will be gone. I will be here in the ashram, always.”

He left. I kept holding on to my faith, Mohanji is here, sitting on this chair, walking in this room, sleeping on this bed. I felt Mohanji continuing to be here with us.

Mohanji in Canada

Every morning and evening I kept doing the aarati, cleaning His room, making His bed, exactly how I used to do when He was here physically. That day, I continued the evening ritual.

In the evening when I went to the laundry room to do some laundry, suddenly I could smell the strong fragrance of Mohanji’s perfume. It has been more than a week since Mohanji had left; none of His clothes was in the laundry. In a room which normally smells of washing powder or bleach, getting the strong perfume smell of Mohanji was a clear indication that Mohanji was here, right next to me.

Then later, after finishing Sai Baba’s aarati, I went upstairs to Mohanji’s room, lit the lamp, made His bed and did pranaam at the chair where He used to sit while staying at the ashram, exactly how I used to do earlier.

canada pic

Just when I touched my head on the floor, Mohanji appeared! Yes, Mohanji appeared. I could clearly see Him, wearing His blue tank top and orange dhoti, sitting on the chair and smiling at me.

I burst out crying like a child. I cried and cried. I was crying not because I was missing Him. I was crying because He was proving to silly me that He was still here, very much here, even though physically He was thousands of miles away.

One thing is for sure, whatever Mohanji says, He always keeps His promises. He told me that He will be here in the ashram, and He proved this to me not just once but many times. And not just to me, even to others. You have already read Sanjay bhai’s story of how he saw Mohanji’s foot impression on the feet cushion.

positivity

His leelas are incomprehensible, unimaginable but magical. His love is truly unconditional and His compassion is beyond this world. How can I express my gratitude to you Mohanji, for your love? I can only bow my head down with complete surrender and remain at your feet always and forever.

The art of seeing rainbows at night

By Urav and Sandra Sankar

It’s like being aboard a rocket cruiser named ‘Master of the Universe’, where having no expectations is the only thing that’s going to take you to warp speed and inter-dimensional travel.

In meditation, we are able to leave this so-called reality and race into the so-called unknown. In dance, we lose our mind amidst cosmic spirals of ecstatic bliss. In walking, we connect to the integral nature of the Self, to the heartbeat of Shakti Maa. We are blessed with so many gifts to gather on this bountiful path of liberation, making life lighter, brighter and happier.

In this world, the big thing is ‘fearlessness’. A picture of a typical Amazon Warrior pops into my head. No. That’s too limiting. Let’s just say that this feels more like being a fearless Warrior of Love and Light. In this beautiful life, that Light is Mohanji. Check that. The darkness is all Mohanji too. In the absence of duality, we find Mohanji. Everything is Mohanji.

So, there is nothing to be scared of, right? Our beloved Parabrahma says ‘I am with you. Keep walking.’ Yes, we also run, jump, swoop, dive and leap with carefree abandon. In doing so we acclimatise to fateful and fearless truths that awareness brings to the table. We begin to flow through the tests and curves that life deals out.

This is all our beloved Mohanji’s grace. Nothing can stop karma. Only beloved Mohanji’s grace can. Contemplate on the waves of karmic providence that created the circumstances that brought us here. To this point. This timeline. To exactly this time-space continuum. Frankly, this feels very much like surfing. Low waves, high waves, sometimes outright tsunamis!

No worry when our beloved Mohanji is here. The great sobering lesson that grows on you is complete humility. Every breath becomes thank you, thank you, thank you, beloved Mohanji. Humbled gratitude to You for all the ‘saves’ not just in this life but all lives.

Guru’s light is like an exquisite prism of conscious revelation. Such is the grace of a timely breath swooping ‘reveal’ of the Absolute by Mother Divine. Our Mohanji’s canvas of innumerable colours illuminates every facet of our lives.

A few nights ago, our young son saw the beautiful outline of a form draped in hues of different rays of light, standing next to his bed. The colours that dominated the spectrum were red, yellow and blue. The astral form of our beloved Parabrahma also had three dark stripes of red, yellow and blue across the forehead and both feet.

This was part of the long-distance Mai-Tri Method healing. The healer was in a different timeline in another part of the world. What an exquisite truth! Consciousness has no distance. Call Mohanji. He comes. Think of Mohanji. He is there! Always present!

Think of our mind like a switch that goes off and on. When we switch off our mind, we experience the glory of Mohanji in 360 degrees. Children do that naturally. A few days later, our son caught sight of a rainbow and said that was exactly what he saw that night.

Unity in Oneness

By Dragana Tešanović

bosnian pyramids
A view of the Bosnian Pyramids

During the last several days of the program on the Bosnian Pyramids in 2019, I was feeling quite confused. Everything was so overwhelming for me as it seemed that there were so many people with whom I did not interact. Until now I did not understand that Mohanji brings all of His people (by saying His people, I mean people who are connected to His consciousness) with Him no matter where and how distant they are physically. As I realized this, I remembered several other occasions when He was on some pilgrimage and I had a feeling that I was there with Him.

I want to share one such experience. I have to start from the very beginning as His ways are very mysterious. It was the year 2018. In January I had to pass my academic writing exam. There were several themes to write about. I chose to write about a theme with the title, ‘What would I change if I had a time machine?’ Naturally, I wrote that I am proud of everything that happened in my past and if it did not happen, I would not be here now. I also wrote that if I had a time machine, I would like to return to my mother`s womb, because that is the only place where I would feel secure and carefree. This is because I do not feel as secure now as I should be. The only thing I know is that I wrote the essay from the bottom of my heart without any expectations.

virgin mary
Virgin Mary – Ukraine

Two months later, I received the call to go and visit the greatest sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary (Shakti manifestation) in Ukraine, which was very affordable for me at that time. At the very same time, Mohanji was on a pilgrimage to Machu Picchu (Shakti place). What makes this place in Ukraine so powerful is the spring from which water started flowing when Mother Mary descended from the heights and touched the stone with her feet.

Besides this, the most interesting thing is that there is a cave in which a saint called Jov spent 20-30 years in silence, and guess what – the cave is in the shape of a womb, and it can hold only up to 4 people at one time. It is a place which the orthodox Christians usurped as their own. In this cave, I witnessed that beyond duality there is only oneness. So the trip was heavy.

There was only one person who knew me on the bus, and after several hours I started feeling the pressure of odd looks that I received. I was looked upon strangely as I did yoga, meditated, so on and so forth. Some of them approached me with the speech that these things I was doing were not good…blah, blah. So my mind started receiving the info about how my path was wrong. It was not easy for me to stay firm and stable around 60 other souls looking upon me like a possessed person, hahaha.

Mohanji

I just held Mohanji`s hand and was calling out to Him during the entire trip. I said to myself, “Ok, this is just one of His leelas. I know that this path is my life and I will wait for the confirmation as a witness.”

I visited a few other places of high energy before I entered the cave on the last day. People shared some stories that the cave would let you in and out if you are not possessed or something like that, and it won’t let you go out if you have great sins. Terrifying stories. I have to be honest, for a moment I was a bit frightened.

What happened next was mind-blowing! Even though there was a queue in front of the cave, when it was my turn to enter, I somehow ended up alone there. So there was only one thought with which I entered the cave, but I received much more. The thought was, “Please, let this path be the one for me.”

After several seconds, Saint Jov, whose presence one can tangibly feel inside this cave, became one with Mohanji and showed me that separation only exists within the mind. To my surprise, my awareness also lifted beyond the dual mind and I felt like I was one with them. I felt everything around me was part of me at that moment. Then I realized that my every heartbeat radiates a certain vibration, and if my heart radiates purity, the same thing will show outside (as within, so without) and vice versa. That realization gave me the strength to follow my path, the path of pathlessness. The path of unconditional love, non-violence, kindness, compassion, goodness, and companionship.

I am so grateful to Mohanji, without whom all of this would be impossible to realize. Before Mohanji, every breath of mine was a struggle. Now He empowers me to live my life purposefully and adds more meaning to it. And yes, when He says that He is with us, He really is. The only difference is in the mind. We think from the mind that the connection is lost. But Mohanji dwells within our hearts.

Thank you Mohanji. I surrender everything to you. I love you, through each and everyone as per my capacity.

Transformation by divine guidance

By Reena Kumar

Mohanji_on_Positivity

Salutations to my Guru, who is an infinite ocean of compassion, grace, and bliss. Mohanji showers His grace 24×7 on everyone, everywhere. Mohanji has transformed us completely by His grace. Now, all the concepts, fears and stresses have vanished. He has taught me to flow through life and accept the person and situation as it is without complaining.

Earlier I wrote about how my son got decent marks in his 10th standard examination, in spite of having an accident. Even after the 10th standard, his attitude towards studies was casual. His present school knew about his carelessness. So the school didn’t want to give him admission to the 11th standard. But again, a miracle took place. By Mohanji’s grace, they agreed to give him admission. At the Parent-Teacher meetings, I was told again and again about the conduct of my son towards studies because he never completed his homework on time and he used to delay submitting his projects too. Annoyed by his pattern of indifference and carelessness, we scolded him and told him to be diligent and sincere.

That night, Mohanji appeared in his teacher’s dream. She has never met Mohanji. She told me how Mohanji came in a white kurta-pyjama and instructed her to take special care of my son. It was an early morning dream. We were left speechless by this dream. Our Mohanji deeply cares for each one of us around the clock.

We were getting complaints from the school regarding my son constantly. Every day we used to sit and explain to him. He got very few marks in his class test. Yet another night, we got so frustrated, we shouted at him. And later we started crying as there was no improvement in his class test score.

That night, Freedom meditation was published. We strongly felt it as a gift from Mohanji for children and their parents who were going through the same situation us. We hoped our son would benefit from it too. Mohanji is our ‘Sankat Mochan’ (name of Lord Hanumanji). Whenever we are gloomy, Mohanji reaches out to us either through a dream or in the form of a message. But the whole year passed and my son couldn’t clear his 11th standard.

In the report card of the 11th Standard (grade), it was written that he will be retained in the same class. I requested the Principal to give him a retest to help him clear the exams. Even after the retest, he was short of a few marks. Through Mohanji’s leela, from being retained in the same class, the report card was now changed to retest.

We went to many schools seeking admission, but no school was ready to take him. Again, I requested the Principal to write in the transfer certificate that my son should be promoted to the 12th class. The Principal agreed but it was suggested that retests should be conducted by the new school. We went to 14 schools, but they all said that the old school should do the retest. Now we were exhausted. The new session of the 12th class had already started since March and now it was the month of May. My son was not able to get admission and he was lagging behind by two months. Construction work was just completed at my place and this long search for admission into a school left us totally drained out.

My son was longing to meet Mohanji. It so happened that Mohanji was there at Dr. Wasir’s place. It was a golden opportunity for us and I thanked Dr. Wasir for contacting us. Mohanji said, “Your son was missing me badly. So I gave this thought to Doctor, to call you.” Mohanji is our Vighnaharta, another name for Lord Ganesha who removes obstacles. Our Avadhoota said, “10th was good and 12th will be good.” This sentence of Mohanji helped us sail smoothly in the middle of this turmoil.

Deep inside my heart, I had firm faith that my son will get admission into the 12th standard, sooner or later. After hopping from one school to the other, my son was still not able to get admission anywhere. So someone suggested to him, “Why don’t you repeat your 11th standard?”  But the boy was adamant on not repeating. To save his one year, we thought of changing the board (of studies to which a school is affiliated). My son was in a school that followed the Haryana state board pattern. We thought of shifting him from Haryana to some other state, or from CBSE to Haryana Board, or from science stream to Arts, but all in vain.

At last, by the divine leela of Mohanji, he got admission in a school which was hardly three kilometers from our house. My son’s attitude changed. He became sincere and polite. Mohanji has transformed my son totally. He’s a new person, always positive in all the aspects.

Mohanji_on_self correction

Let any situation happen in your life no matter what people say. Whatever blockages are there, our Mohanji will remove them. Follow hundred percent whatever He tells us. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Never let the monkey mind come in between you and your Guru. Destiny brings the Master and the mind takes him/her away. Keep your Guru firmly in your heart. We are not the doer. Surrender at the lotus feet of Mohanji. He will deliver at the right time, at the right place. Gratitude is a very small word to describe the divine leela and grace of Mohanji.

We are in His divine protection always. May my family and I be at the lotus feet of our Mohanji till our last breath. Infinite gratitude every second to our Mohanji for blessing, awakening, guiding and transforming us! Koti koti pranaams Mohanji!

Jai Jai Mohanji!

A blessing for Guru Purnima

By Sonia Gandhi, Australia

It was early morning, around 5:00 am, on the 1st of July 2019. I was transported in a dream state to a place with rural settings. It looked similar to the locations on the way to Mt. Kailash.

I was in a small shelter with many others. I saw Mohanji there and He was getting ready to leave. So, along with the others, I stood near the door to see Him off.

A few people were talking with Him, asking for some help, to which He lovingly said as always,

“It will be taken care of.”

He wore His shoes and was about to go; I was keen to touch His feet and get His blessings. As I bent down to touch His feet, He took His shoes off for me. My heart melted in His love and with trembling hands, I bowed down to touch His feet.

Then I heard my voice coming from the deepest core of my being. It was from the soul level and not from the mind, body, or intellect. It was one of the very few times when I knew it was my highest self talking. My voice said: “I deeply, completely, surrender at your lotus feet Mohanji, with utmost humility and gratitude, with everything I ever was and I ever will be.”

And behold! All of a sudden, His feet turned into light, a light that was brighter than the brightest light! I could not see my hands touching His feet anymore, although I felt completely drenched in that snowy, white light. Slowly with complete oneness, I saw Sai Baba emerging out of that light in the form of light itself, and I could see him. The form of Sai Baba then turned into the form of Shiva, absolutely stunning in white light and finally changed into Shree Anjaneya. All of them appeared to have emerged from the white light and merged back into it.

I woke up from this dream state with a heart full of love and my eyes full of tears. I felt this was Mohanji’s gift to me, at the start of this auspicious month of Guru Purnima. The day of the Guru Purnima has always been the most special day of my life for the past 12 years.

It is said that Masters are extremely active and very close to the earth, during the 15 days before and after Guru Purnima. It is a very special time to connect to the Source and with one’s higher self.

The bliss that this dream or astral vision has given me is not comparable. I can feel the heat of the energy expanding within me every day since then.

Is there an end to His love? No, there isn’t. My little mind is not capable of understanding what He is, but my heart just melts with His presence in my life. Gratitude and only gratitude.
