Faith, conviction and volunteering for the mission!

By Arun Vathavooran, UK

Mohanji says, When you move through the path of spirituality, you may face many obstacles. However, those will all dissolve if your focus stays steadfast on God. If you establish your focus on that highest Divinity, and are determined and resolved to continue till you merge with it, nothing will be able to stop or stand in your way. God or the Guru will automatically guide and hold your hand through that path of evolution.”

Arun has experienced the above, sharing with us a beautiful experience of how Mohanji’s grace and love helped him miraculously at a time of need. He also explains how volunteering has helped his progress in spirituality, deepening his faith, love and connection to Mohanji. Enjoy reading the love of a volunteer for his Guru and the mission.

I grew up as a vegetarian but became a vegan shortly before my Kailash yatra with Mohanji in 2016. It was a fairly straight forward process for me to become a vegan by giving up dairy. However, I find it really challenging to obtain vegan food while travelling. In particular, I find it very hard whenever I travel to far off places like Siberia on business assignments. I am slightly flexible only while travelling and consume dairy products as a regrettable exception. My travel agent has listed my food preference as ‘Asian vegetarian’ in the file for a long time. I tried to update that to ‘vegan’ in 2016, but she advised me that it would be difficult to get vegan options on the routes that I frequently travel. So, I decided to leave it as it was. My business trips normally last 1 to 2 weeks and is always booked in advance so that the special meal is requested on time.

Last summer (2018 June) there was an unplanned request at work, asking me to attend a meeting in Freiberg, Germany at short notice. The request came on a Wednesday and I had to travel the next day to make it to the meeting on Friday. My flight tickets from London to Dresden via Frankfurt were booked at the last minute and the travel agent said it was too late to request a special meal. I wasn’t bothered much because it is a short flight from London. The itinerary was planned in such a way that I would fly out on Thursday to reach Dresden at dusk, and the host would pick me up from the airport to drive to Freiberg which is about an hour’s trip. The meeting was scheduled for that Friday morning; it was also planned that they would drop me back at the airport in the afternoon to catch an evening flight.

Everything went well until I reached Frankfurt, where I missed my connecting flight to Dresden during the afternoon rush hour at Frankfurt security. They rescheduled me on the next flight, but that meant I would only reach Dresden shortly before midnight. Therefore we agreed that I should stay at a hotel near the airport overnight and they would pick me up in the morning at 7.30 am. I checked in late, but got up early in the morning, did my Kriya and was ready to leave by 7:30 am. I couldn’t get any vegan options from the breakfast menu, so I had a light vegetarian breakfast (that contained dairy products).

Unfortunately, there was a road accident (which I was not aware of) and my host was stuck on the highway which was closed. They managed to reach my hotel only after 10 am to pick me up. We were on the way, but had to take diversions as a result of road closures and reached our meeting venue in Freiberg by noon. We all realised that we were running out of time as my return flight was at 6 pm and the road closures were still in place. Everyone agreed that we should go on with the meeting without breaking for lunch, and then I could catch a train by 4 pm from the nearby train station to avoid getting caught in the traffic again.

The meeting went well and I managed to get a train as planned, but I was really tired as I didn’t have any food since my light breakfast around 7 am. I didn’t try to buy any food on the train or at the train station simply because of my language difficulties (I don’t know a single word of German). However, I was hopeful that I would get some vegan / vegetarian food at the airport.  I reached the airport on time, but couldn’t find any vegetarian options there other than wraps containing shredded raw carrots and lettuce. I wasn’t prepared to eat raw food after almost fasting the whole day, but managed to get a slice of bread and banana from the business lounge (that was the only option other than peanuts and biscuits) and hoped that I would get some food once I reached Frankfurt.

Once in Frankfurt, I wanted to rush through the security to avoid the same mishap that happened on the previous day. While rushing through, I checked my emails on the phone and found out that there was an urgent request from the Mohanji Publications Team to translate the 360 degrees meditation in Tamil along with the other meditations. It was mentioned that someone was available in Mumbai to record and a quick turnaround of the translation would be very useful.

pic 3

I had forgotten my hunger and tiredness after reading through the email but wanted to speak with my friend and fellow volunteer Jay about how we could split the work and get this done quickly. I rang him when I reached my boarding gate and we had a detailed discussion about the translation and various other activities including arrangements for an ACT seva (snack stall in Skanda Vale). At the end of the call, I realised that I didn’t have much time to look for a meal, but needed to board the plane soon. I managed to find a nearby café that served vegan falafel sandwiches and tea, and satisfied myself with that.

I boarded the plane quickly and was seated on time. To my amazement, once we were airborne, one of the cabin crew members came up to me, checked my name and said “Sir, we have received a special meal request for vegan food for you.”  I couldn’t believe it for a moment because no special meal request was made in the first place for this trip! Further, even if it was, it should have been vegetarian and not vegan. While my monkey mind was analysing this, they served me with a scrumptious meal that consisted of rice, dhal, potatoes and another vegetable curry along with a mini naan bread, followed by fresh fruit salad. I would say it as a feast, considering my situation (fasting all day) and the location (plane food).

It didn’t take too long for me to realise that this was a divine play of our beloved Guru Mohanji. It was indeed another confirmation that our Guru looks after us and fulfills every single need, even without being asked. I have read about food unexpectedly being served to Guruji Avadhootha Nadananada while he was travelling on a train and was really hungry. I have also read a similar account in ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ where Paramahansa Yogananda had been given food in a miraculous way while travelling. However, actually experiencing such an amazing miracle was a wonderful reconfirmation of the connection I have and deeply feel with Mohanji. My heartfelt gratitude and love for my beloved Guru for taking care of me always.

pic 5

I would like to share here another experience that showed me when we serve with love, faith and conviction, Guru’s grace and blessings are always with us.

As mentioned earlier, we soon started translating the Tamil script of the 360 degrees meditation, and I promised the Publication Team that it would be ready within a week. However, it was a busy week at work and I was under pressure to get two reports completed in the same week. Report writing is certainly not one of my strengths; normally I take relatively more time to complete reports. Further, in the line of my business, reports are an iterative process as well. Normally draft reports are updated following peer review, project manager review and client review. Most of the time, it is a tedious time consuming process.

I surrendered all to Mohanji (both my work reports as well as the translation) and started working on my reports. It turned out that I was able to finish both the reports on time and also managed to complete the translation at the same time (much of the translation was done at work during unexpected free time after reports). Surprisingly, there were no comments from any of the reviewers!

The translation of 360 degrees meditation was another remarkable experience on its own. I was able to feel energy movements within my spine and sahasrara region (similar to meditation) while working on the translation at my computer, even with my eyes wide open. At one point during the translation, I felt that I should close my eyes for a moment to enjoy this energy (the energy was so intense at that time). Once my eyes were closed, I could clearly see Mohanji standing next to me at my office desk! I have seen Mohanji in meditations and dreams several times, but this was indeed a magical experience, to see Him watching over me at work. I realise how blessed I am, to be in the protective embrace of my loving Guru Mohanji and to be given such wonderful opportunities to volunteer for Mohanji’s mission. I surrender all at Mohanj’s divine feet.

The Unseen Ring of Protection

by Arpana Nazre, Bangalore, India

As given in the quote above, Arpana Nazre had an unnerving experience that taught her to face life with courage and faith in the Guru. Our Guru Mohanji gently held her hand and protected her through this difficult experience, giving her the strength to deal with it. Read on about this alarming experience which shows us how Mohanji protected Arpana through this ordeal, showing us yet again, He is always with us!

This incident happened recently, when we shifted to a temporary location, since we were renovating our current home. We had moved to a house which unfortunately didn’t have a proper car parking space, hence we had to park my car on the street. Considering this was a main road leading to a residential colony, there was a lot of moving traffic. I had chosen a space diagonally opposite to my house, in front of an empty plot.  Within a few days, construction of a residential building started, and we saw a lot of building materials being shifted to the plot in front of which I had parked my car. So essentially my car was blocking their work. The workers repeatedly instructed us to move my car elsewhere.  We were unable to find a suitable place immediately. They expressed discontent over my car being parked in the same place.

That day as usual, I started for my office. Usually, I approach the car from the back, since my house is way behind from where my car was parked. I got into the car and started the engine like every day. As I steered the wheel and got moving, I could feel the wheels hitting something hard, and there was a loud sound. I immediately put on the brakes. By then, a labourer who was working close by, rushed towards my car window and started yelling at me – “Can’t you see that there is a machine here? You have broken my machine…” and so on.  I was stunned and wondered, ‘what machine?’  When I got into the car, there was no view of any machine. Apparently they had kept an iron rod cutting machine within a foot of the car, which was totally not visible from the driver’s seat. Now whether they had done it on purpose or not, I had no clue. As it was not visible, there was no way I could have seen it. After sharing my point of view,  I left for my office.

When I reached the office, I got a call from my mother, saying that the labourers had been creating a very big issue out of it, and had demanded money for the repair of the machine. I suggested we pay some money for the damages. A short while later, the labourers had started using the same machine, which they claimed had been damaged. Noticing this, my mother went up to them to check if the machine was working. They mentioned that they got it repaired. It was surprising that a big machine, which was damaged and needed repairs, was working within a few minutes after the hit. In my estimation, it should have taken them at least half a day in a city like Bangalore, for the technician to arrive and do the repairs. We smelt something foul here, but kept silent as we didn’t want further issues.

Later in the day, when I reached home, my mother asked me to park the car on the adjacent street,  to avoid arguments with the workers. I did as I was told and we forgot about the matter.

Next day, we had to leave for some work. My mother asked me to get the car from the adjacent street, while she locked the doors of the house. I went to get my car. While reversing the car, in the rear view mirror, I saw the same guy who had fought with me the previous day, standing there with his bike. The street was completely isolated, with no one there.

When I reversed the car, I saw that there were three more of his accomplices, and they surrounded my car. The main guy parked his bike blocking my exit from the street. I immediately knew this was turning ugly. At that moment, I just uttered Mohanji’s name. Before I could think of any action, these guys were near my car window, shouting and threatening me. Still in the driving seat, I called my brother-in-law who stays nearby, and asked him to get the police.  The main guy who created the whole ruckus, started shouting threateningly, that I could call the police and he was not bothered.

The situation was getting out of hand, so I got out of the car and confronted them head-on. Strangely, I was facing all four men alone, with no kind of fear or anxiety. I then started reasoning with him, explaining in a calm manner the way the situation unfolded. He still wouldn’t listen and was yelling at the top of his voice.

Suddenly, an old man (around 70 years) appeared out of nowhere and intervened, consoling the main guy who was creating a big scene in the street. Amidst this commotion, I remember seeing the old man keeping his hand on the labourer’s chest, asking him to calm down. Within a few minutes, this angry man turned around and abruptly left the street along with his accomplices. By the time my mother and brother-in-law reached the place, the entire episode had died down.

As this guy left, there was this strange kind of feeling within me, and I knew deep down that this man will not bother me again. Everything was over within a few minutes and the matter was resolved. I also noticed that I was strangely calm and composed even after this entire altercation. My mother and brother-in-law were thinking of filing a complaint at the nearby police station, but I knew that it was not needed and they would not bother us anymore.

My mom was extremely worried, since these guys work right opposite our house, and they can do anything at any point in time, considering she would be alone. They could even find ways of extracting money from us.

To our utter surprise, the man changed completely and wouldn’t even look at us. The same person who looked exceedingly agitated just a few hours ago, was quite calm, as if nothing had happened. It was extremely surprising to note that each day as we passed him, even if there was eye-contact, he showed no signs of enmity or anger towards us.

A few days later, I met Mohanji and shared with Him the entire incident. He listened and said nothing but one line – “Always remember – I am always with you, no matter what.” Even at that moment, my sleepy brain didn’t register something vital. Only while driving back home, I realized that the person who had come and calmed both the parties was none other than Him. How could I miss such a detail? It was no wonder that this person had suddenly calmed down, from his extremely agitated state to not bothering to look at us. To this day, that person is still working, but has not troubled us after the incident. This is nothing short of a miracle. Mohanji, in His most unassuming way, showed that He is with me, but never took credit for resolving the situation. Isn’t this a sign of a most elevated Master, who does His work, but doesn’t acknowledge or take credit for it?

There are no words to describe the stature of such an elevated Master. All I know is I am extremely blessed to be under His umbrella, for which I know not of any merits in this lifetime. A Sathguru is always protecting His disciples, through rain or shine. It is for us to see His grace, protection and blessing in every situation of life. Or we might miss the whole point. How can I express my gratitude, for such grace and protection? All I can do is share His leelas, so more come under this protective umbrella of our Guru, Mohanji.

Koti koti pranams at the holy feet of our Master – Jai Mohanji.

Mohanji Satcharita – Chapter 4, January 2019

“Understand. I never leave anybody who trusts in me. Faith in God and Guru is the ultimate protection. Selfless Service is the ultimate insurance. Surrender with gratitude is the ultimate prayer. Remember this always. Doubts are your enemy. Confusion is what they leave you with. Alienation and separation from truth brings people down who doubt themselves, others, gurus, and gods. Stay with the truth. Do what’s right. Always be grateful. Always display compassion and kindness. The world is what we make it to be. Live compassion. Love unconditionally. Be Mohanji always.” – Mohanji

With our limited minds we see glimpses of the various divine dimensions of Mohanji and attempt to describe what we have experienced as testimonials/stories. These are expressions of pure love from devotees who feel Mohanji’s compassion, love and protection when they are truly connected to Him.

Mohanji says, “One of the basic reasons for our existence in the body is expression, so you must express. That’s the way you are. As you are, you express, that’s important, so you need to express yourself honestly, not in a conditioned way.”

With deep reverence, gratitude, humility and love, we offer Mohanji Satcharita 4 at the divine feet of our Guru, Brahmarishi Mohanji.

These stories when read with faith and conviction would inspire the reader to also experience the divine qualities of Mohanji.

In this chapter, there are nine more stories of Mohanji’s Divine grace & protection.

Mohanji Satcharita_I see you when you see me quote

Divine Grace & Protection

The following verse from the Guru Gita depicts the protection offered by a Master. Guru Gita verse 43:

Yadanghri-kamala-dvandvam, dvandva-taapa-nivaarakam

Taarakam sarvadaa padbhyah, Srigurum pranamaamyaham.

which means:

I salute Shri Guru, whose two lotus feet remove the pain of duality and who always protects one from calamities.

This Guru Gita verse rings a bell for every devotee of Mohanji. Being omnipresent, He is by the side of the devotee during difficulties in a flash. Numerous devotees all over the world have felt his presence and protection. He showers each one of us with His grace, whether we remember him or not. What is required from us is establishing the connection with His supreme Consciousness.  He, through his compassion and unconditional love carries us through the journey of life. In each of the nine experiences shared here, all experienced the unseen hand of protection only on retrospection. What appears as an individual incident actually unfolds with grace and protection of the Master. We need to surrender with faith and awareness and rest assured that the Master takes care of each one of us. Read on and enjoy these true experiences of people in various situations.

So here are the nine stories shared by devotees on how they have felt Mohanji’s grace and protection at different times.

1. Miraculous Hues In A Pendant: Ruby Nair, Virginia, USA

Aum Gam Ganapataye Namah!!

Jai Mohanji!!

During this Virginia Retreat in August 2018, we were introduced to various accessories: Mohanji Protection Pendants, Mohanji Protection Bracelets and Mohanji Vibhuti Boxes. As I am not a big fan of any sort of jewelry or accessories and don’t wear any, I did not want to purchase them.

When the products were introduced, I asked for the price and Mohanji casually and laughingly said “$100 for Ruby, since she is from NY.” Later that evening, I ended up buying two bracelets and did  spend about $100!

A couple of weeks later, I was speaking to someone about something random and the person suggested that being a Mai-tri healer, I should keep some Mohanji Protection Pendants with me in case someone with a need may come by. Around the same time I happened to chat with Manu about something else and he shared that he has been wearing his necklace pendant every day since the retreat but takes off the bracelet at night. So, I felt I should purchase the necklace pendants for my family as well. I decided to do this because the Mohanji Protection Bracelet was at my altar most of the time and I wore it only during meditations or when going somewhere special, since I didn’t want it to get dirty or break during my house work. However, the necklace on the other hand, will always be with me and it is small enough to not get in my way.

On October 4th, 2018, I received some Mohanji Protection pendant necklaces in silver, and as soon I got them, I placed one in front of Mohanji’s  picture on the altar, thanking Him for bringing them to us. I was just happy that I was wearing the necklace all the time now and didn’t have to worry about taking it off and getting it dirty etc. For the first two days of wearing the new necklace (Mohanji Protection Pendant), I felt very tired, exhausted and ran a low-grade fever. I found that few others who recently purchased the bracelets had experienced something similar in terms of energies, so I just took it as a sign of purification. However, out of the four members in the house, I was the only one to fall sick.

Mohanji Satcharita_Pendant Black
Mohanji Pendant turned black! Hues of Blue/Violet in th third eye

On December 1st, after about a two-month time period, I was just glancing at my pendant and I noticed how dark it had become. I was under the impression that silver never changes colour when it is on a person. So, the first thought was, “How is this even possible?”

All the negative thoughts started popping in my head and in a confused state I went to my husband and looked at his pendant.

Mohanji Satcharita_ Mohanji Pendant 3
Mohanji’s pendant with golden radiance

It was not at all dark, so I just took the pictures of both pendants and sent it to Manu to hopefully get some clarity and find out if others who have purchased them had noticed something similar. As we were discussing the colours, Manu noticed that my Mohanji pendant, even though it was dark, had hues of violet/blue in the third eye, on the neck and on the shawl, and it also had shades of gold on it. In my husband’s pendant, it was as if the pendant itself had a golden tone with no other hues. It would have gone totally unnoticed if I hadn’t noticed my own darkened pendant.

I was reassured by Manu that he would find out from Mohanji and get back to me. So, the next morning I got three text messages from him. The messages were from Mohanji and they were as follows:

  1. “Purification. Warding off negative effects from the body.”
  2. “Colours signify presence. Golden is me, my tradition, sign of who is protecting.”
  3. “Plus, silver converting to black or any other color is normal.”

It was also mentioned in the text that when Mohanji was asked what the blue/violet tones meant, he just said welcome to my unusual world with the smiley face 😊

After receiving these messages, I was immediately calm and happy to know there was nothing negative about me that caused the silver to change colors. By speaking with Manu again, there was more clarity. Since I am a Mai-tri healer, the pendant was protecting me from the dark energies and I wasn’t even aware of it. Having this confirmation and knowing that I am always protected brought me to a safe place where I know I am carrying a part of Mohanji with me everywhere.

It is also very humbling to know how the universe works wonders and brings things into our lives to change, shape, protect, etc.

One thing I have learned in this journey with Mohanji is that whenever someone offers us any advice, especially from Mohanji’s family, it may seem small or insignificant or just crazy, we ought to listen. We miss a lot by listening to our minds. Sometimes just go with the flow as I did with the decision of purchasing the extra pendants.

Jai Mohanji!

2. The ‘Light’er Effect: Mina Obradović, Serbia

One day, I lit the oil lamp in front of Mohanji’s picture, left the lighter on the table and started doing something else. I suddenly heard the noise of something falling to the ground behind me. When I turned around, I saw the lighter burning. Fear overwhelmed me as I quickly put out the fire. Mohanji’s picture fell right next to the lighter, showing me it was Him that saved me. I was terrified, but also filled with love and gratitude at the same time. I cannot fully explain the moment. It was just miraculous.

pic 3

The object falling to the ground was our God (Mohanji, Jesus or Buddha…) keeping me safe.

They have shown me one small way in which they are protecting me, but who knows what kind of things they deal with on daily basis for us? And still, they don’t ask for anything in return.

I am endlessly grateful to our beloved Mohanji, all the Masters, Gods and Goddesses for always being present and protecting me.

 Love to all.

3. The Miraculous ‘Impact’: Ana Raos, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

I would like to share something I experienced today. I was on my way to Bijeljina, where Devi was conducting Yoga Nidra. After travelling for about 20 kilometres, I suddenly lost control of the car. Due to rain, the road was slippery and there might also have been some oil on the road. The wheels began to slide and the car rolled down the bushy hill, slowed down and was miraculously stopped by some thick shrubbery. My heart was beating very fast but I was not injured. There was not a single scratch or bruise, absolutely nothing. The car also was not damaged, without a scratch. A wrecking truck got me out smoothly from the shrubbery.

pic 4

I couldn’t make it to for the Yoga Nidra program, but I felt very, very grateful and blessed that everything ended like this. This is another proof of how blessed and happy I am to be under Mohanji’s protection. He is always with us. I also consider this as a gentle warning to drive more carefully and not to be in a hurry. Never again will I hurry. Thank you, dearest Father for your love and blessings. You saved my life – not only in this accident, but every single day in many different ways. Love you deeply.

Jai Brahmarishi Mohanji!

4. An unseen protection: Samantha, South Africa

We had just got back from our Rishikesh retreat and I was helping my son move houses. I had taken a picture of our Mohanji and Babaji with me for their prayer altar. While I was there, my son hung up a wall mirror on the passage way wall and an hour later we just heard a crash. The mirror had fallen and broken. I am very superstitious, but this time I remained calm and just said to them that Mohanji has a reason for it to happen. The following week, my two year old granddaughter ran into the same wall and hurt her head. Had the mirror been there, it could have caused a serious injury! When my son called me to talk about the incident, the first thing he said was, “You did say that our Mohanji had a reason when the mirror broke….!”

“When gratitude becomes the essence of our character, excesses vanish, ego vanishes and anxieties vanish. Gratitude supports faith. Gratitude provides equanimity. Gratitude reinforces unconditional love. If you have to choose one quality in life, choose gratitude. It is worth it. Everything else will fall in place by itself.” Mohanji

Om Shree Gurudeva Datta!

5. Grace of faith: Punam Kapoor, Canada

This was the time in my life where I (my soul) was supposed to leave this body to move on to the next stage in my soul’s journey. Due to this time period, my spine shifted, disconnecting from my vital organs. I felt as if I would collapse any minute.

Mohanji Satcharita_ Poonam & Nalin with divine connection
Connecting to divine energy!

With Sai Baba’s grace, there was an energy healer with whom we made an urgent appointment for the same evening. It was praying for Mohanji’s grace. I called out to Him for help, as I had a sinking feeling inside. I could hear a voice saying, “Your work is done.” I had chest pain.

I sent an urgent email to askmohanji@mohanji.org asking for guidance.

The healer straightened my spine and connected my vital organs to the meridians which stabilized me. However, my energy levels were too low.

I called a Mohanji family member to send me healing and she reminded me that, “Punam you are a healer yourself, try healing yourself.”  That night, I sat in my puja room and prayed to Mohanji to give me strength and to heal me. Saying this, I put my hands on my heart and solar plexus chakra.

Faith elevates!

After a minute, which I took to settle down, a strong but soothing warm current started flowing. This gave me the same feeling as Mohanji giving me Shaktipath. The next morning, I felt so much better and had the energy to go back to work!

“Faith leads. Faith soothes. Faith reinforces. Faith nurtures life. Faith elevates life. Faith stabilizes life. Faith Liberates man. Faith increases with experiences”

My gratitude and koti pranaams to Mohanji.

6. Protection from theft: Nazeema Botha, South Africa

Mohanji Satcharita _ Mohanji with Nazeema
Mohanji’s protection round the clock

I would like to share an experience that happened on 31st October 2018 after Suvarna and I got back to Sandton from the airport. We both requested Uber cabs to take us home and the phone app located a pick up spot as they are not allowed to pick up at the station due to taxi violence.

We walked across the street to wait for the cabs to arrive and as we stood on the corner, a security guy called out to us. But I was hesitant, as number one, who knows if he really was a security person, and number two, I don’t trust anyone after dark. So I told Suvarna not to go as we didn’t know who he was and what he wanted.

We both stood with phones in our hands and checking the arrival time of the cab drivers. I was holding the phone with almost no grip; it was basically just resting in my palm. A few minutes later, a guy walked by and grabbed my phone, but it fell back into my hand! It was as if this guy’s hand was moved away from the phone, and it had fallen back into my hand!  A car suddenly pulled up, he jumped in, and they drove off.

I was stunned and shocked at the same time. But most of all, I felt the protection of our Guru. Thank you Mohanji for your grace and protection. Pranaams to your holy feet…

“The power of purity immunizes from the rocks and shocks of daily existence. The power of purity radiates. Purity empowers.  Purity strengthens. Purity liberates. It brings gratitude into existence.”

Jai Mohanji!

7. Divine Grace to Animals, the perfect example of Love and Compassion: Subhasree, London

Mohanji’s love and compassion for all beings of Mother Earth has been seen on many occasions.

Mohanji on animals, nature and compassion

https://qawithmohanji.wordpress.com/2015/07/06/passion-for-compassion/

I was fortunate enough to witness one such incident during my trip to Serbia in November 2017 and I would like to share it here.

As a part of a charity initiative, ACT Serbia brought  approximately a metric ton (around 2204 pounds) of  dog food and visited a dog shelter run single handed by a lady. More than 350 abandoned, now rescued dogs are sheltered there. Mohanji was with us during  this visit.
We reached the shelter and soon a little puppy walked up to me. I picked  him up and noticed that he was shivering.  I cuddled him. Comforted, he started licking my face and throat and soon buried his face in my arms and dozed off!

Mohanji satcharita_love has no boundary
Love has no boundary

Food bags were being unloaded and everyone was carrying them inside (including Mohanji).  I wanted to lay the puppy on the floor and join the group in their effort, but the puppy wouldn’t budge! So I continued to hold him while he enjoyed his nap! Mohanji noticed this, came near me and commented that the puppy and I appeared to  share a bond and a past connection; hence my trip to Serbia all the way from London to share my motherly love. We laughed, but deep within, I felt that it was true. I already shared a close bond with this puppy.

Mohanji then said, “It’s a very good dog. It needs a home. See if someone can adopt it and take it home.” At that point in time, I wished I could take him home! I have been resisting my son’s demand to bring a puppy home as a pet for years; now as I held the puppy, I wished to take him home! I even mentioned this to Mohanji, and wondered how difficult it would be to take him along in the flight. He nodded. I was determined to give him a home, even if it could not be mine. So I asked the volunteers. I even offered to sponsor this puppy if someone is ready to adopt. But unfortunately, at that point of time, no one was ready.
I kept holding him, wishing that someone would adopt him and give him a nice home.
Mohanji walked by again, this time he stroked the puppy’s head with immense love. He kept his hand on its head. The puppy looked up to him. As he placed his hand on the puppy’s head, he closed his eyes and slept, as if he were witnessing the divine energy that was flowing to him.

Mohanji Satcharita_Shaktipat to puppy
Mohanji giving Shaktipat to the puppy – compassion beyond the boundary of species

Then Mohanji gave him Shaktipath on his third eye. I was choked and teary eyed at this sight! I couldn’t believe the good fortune of the puppy. How fortunate was he to receive Shaktipath from Mohanji ! Even as an animal, his life was being cleansed through the process and it felt like someone very close to me was being blessed.  I was also amazed and filled with gratitude to Mohanji, for his unconditional love and compassion. It did not discriminate between  species, just as the sun shines brightly for all on earth. In the eyes of the Supreme Consciousness, Para Brahma, all beings are his creation and hence equal. Comparison and partiality lies in the human mind only.

Strangely after receiving the Shaktipath, the puppy woke up with a lot of energy and started moving around. He walked around me in a circle and then moved away. Mohanji said, “Look, he is doing a pradkshina” (circumambulation), thanking you and expressing his gratitude!” I realised all of us could learn from this little one. We left the shelter but my heart was with the little puppy. I wondered if he was going to find a loving home. After two days, I returned to London, my experience with the puppy still   fresh. I kept talking to everyone about him and hoped he would be adopted soon.

In a couple of week’s time Deviji messaged me, saying one of the volunteers (Spomenka)from Serbia went back to  the dog shelter and has indeed adopted the same puppy. Though Spomenka already had few dogs with her and had no intention of getting one more, she was moved when she heard Mohanji wants the puppy to get a home!

Mohanji Satcharita_Mohanji blessing puppy
Mohanji’s blessing clearing lifetimes!

I was so glad to hear that the puppy had found a home. At this thought, tears began flowing from my eyes with gratitude for Mohanji. This was no less than a miracle. He said this dog must find a home. He gave shaktipath to it. Few days later, he found a home; and in the home of a Mohanji devotee! Well I don’t know if I will ever meet the puppy again; not that it is important. Knowing that he lives somewhere in a safe home, comforts me.

Now more than a year later, I got to see the photos of the puppy, now known as ‘Zen’ enjoying in his home with mum Spomenka! The love is eternal.

My gratitude to Mohanji for spreading  unconditional love, enabling two very different beings to meet and share a few moments of unconditional love. The puppy and I enjoyed each other’s love and I treasure it forever. This is perfect example of the eternal love that Mohanji has for all the beings of Mother Earth. My heartfelt gratitude at the feet of such Master.

8.  Protection in all states: Sunita Madan, India

While we know about Mohanji’s protective hand shielding us always, I experienced it first-hand one night. Since 29th December, 2018, there has been a lot of turbulence in my life due to my ailing mother and her hospitalisation. I spent much of my time in the hospital. Yesterday though I was not feeling too well and I came home to get some sleep.

In my dream state, I saw dark energies coming towards me but before they could touch me I found myself screaming Mohanji’s name twice and instantly they disappeared. Then I found myself loudly reciting the Gayathri mantra. All was well and the dark energies also moved towards the light.

The following question and Mohanji’s response are very relevant here.

Q: I dreamt of you, is it possible to connect with you even through dreams?

Mohanji : So any dream;  you interpret it as you wake up, “It’s a dream, I met Mohanji,” may not be a dream. It could be a connection which we had astrally.

Mohanji on dreams

It was a truly amazing experience. I realized we are powerful because we have Mohanji. Nothing negative can touch us when we are connected. Complete faith and surrender are the only requirements. We are all blessed. Pranaams at your lotus feet. Jai Mohanji!

Here are more links on protecting ourselves from negativity.

 9. Grace at work: Surya Sujan, Kerala

Mohanji Satcharita_Mohanji_Mohanji school friends
Mohanji and His school friends reunion after 39 years!

I met my school friend, Mohanji on 26th December, 2018 after 38 years. I am still in a daze that I was able to meet Mohanji, one, who I thought was beyond my reach. None from my school are able to believe this meeting happened. Since then many miracles seem to be occurring in my life! I would like to share one of them as below:

My senior officer, who I report to at work, was awaiting his promotion order on Jan 4th, 2019.  He found out that his replacement was a direct recruit; someone I did not know and one who was known to be quite rude, with no respect for age or seniority. Obviously, everyone in our office was dejected. I am the second in command in the office and I was also dispirited. I stay in Kannur and work in Calicut, which is 100 km away.  I have fortunately been coming in a little later and leaving a little early. Since I have a long commute, I was allowed this privilege and I must say I had become accustomed to this relaxed work ethic.  However, I suspected the new officer would not be kind enough to grant this privilege. I also dreaded working with him.

With all these questions and worries racing through my mind, I entered my room and saw a message from Mohanji , “Are you free to talk?” Mohanji had promised to call me back after our school reunion but had been very busy with his travel and work schedule. We started talking about various issues. Suddenly, my senior came to my room and announced that there was a new order intimating a change in the appointment of the person replacing him. The new person was none other than a friend from Kannur! I couldn’t believe what had just transpired! My anxiety and apprehension had been taken care of and additionally, I   had company for the long commute to work.

The divine grace beyond the age old friendship

How did this happen, I wondered! I was completely relaxed now. When I conveyed this to Mohanji, he just laughed. But I believe I know who worked the magic!

Faith is courage. Faith is strength. Faith is power!

Mohanji Satcharita_Mohanji_blessing

All the above stories with different flavours of Mohanji’s protection only indicate the one and the same essence – Omnipresent Mohanji is always available and provides the shield of protection to all His devotees when someone reaches out to Him through thoughts, prayers or even a physical message.

The next time you sing Mohanji’s Aarati, the following lines will show you how accurately these lyrics were created!

Sankatmochan bankar, dur dukh karna,

Swami dur dukh karna

Apne bhakton ka haath, apne bhakton ka haath

thame tum rakhna, Swami thame tum rakhna

Meaning:

Being the dispeller of danger, O Guru, alleviate our misery, and keep on holding the hands of your faithful devotees.

Mohanji Satcharita Chapter 2 – November 2018

“Mohanji ek naam mein, saare roop samaye,

Unki krupa hoye toh, dukh koyi na sataaye.

Chaaro dhaam ka vaas hai, Mohanji ke Charan,

Kaialsh unka dhaam hai, kehlate dukh haran.

Jai Mohan Maharaj, Jai ho Yogi Raj.”

“In the one name of “Mohanji,” all forms are encompassed,

When His grace prevails, sufferings stay away.

Being at his feet is like visiting all four sacred places,

He who is known as the dispeller of woes, His home is Kailash,

Glory be to Mohanji Maharaj, Glory to the King of Yogis!”

The recently released devotional song about Mohanji, Mohanji Amritwani   expresses how devotees see Mohanji as ONE in ALL, ALL in ONE and that Mohanji is indeed the only path and only destination!

In every Yug (era), God or the eternal supreme power takes a physical incarnation to come to this Earth and liberate beings (human and others). This is for the benefit of the creation, and the beings. During a physical incarnation, God Himself goes through the process of birth and death, undergoing all the normal pains and discomforts associated with an incarnation. We see this in every religion, in every Master’s life.

So the question that arises is – Why do we have Mohanji in our lives? Mohanji’s incarnation in this time-frame, His advent in our lives, is not for His sake! The purpose of His incarnation is only for us, to lead us towards liberation. He never calls anyone, nor does He ask anyone to leave! He never asks for anything from anyone. He only gives. We may just carry on being self-centered, submerged in our own selfish thoughts of “me and mine.” Then what is the relevance of Mohanji in our lives? What has Mohanji got to do with our likes, dislikes and opinions about Him? We have asked for and created Mohanji in our lives! However, when we see Mohanji as separate from ourselves, we do not understand Him.

Mohanji represents the highest possibility of our own self. This means being natural and established in happiness, compassion, kindness, unconditional love, supreme causeless joy, care, unconditional acceptance etc.

If we look at Him as an individual incarnation, then all that we will see are the same human weaknesses that we all have such as anger, hatred, jealouosy, lust greed etc. He surely is not our lower and the terrestrial aspect of existence!

Mohanji_with_cub_350

Behind the very ordinary physical form of Mohanji, is the most extraordinary being, an AVATAR, which we need to recognise and merge with, over and above our weaknesses and selfish desires. He is here to liberate us and we must not lose this golden opportunity!

With the stories published in ‘Mohanji Satcharita’, we try to bring to light the invisible force, the eternal supreme consciousness behind every existence that comes as an experience.

In this chapter of ‘Mohanji Satcharita’, we are sharing nine stories in the three categories as below:

  • Divine Vision
  • Divine Transformation
  • Divine Healing

Divine Vision

DV_1_350_200

Many elevated souls have had divine communions with Mohanji through visions and experiences. These experiences reveal only the tip of the iceberg that is Mohanji as His depth stays unseen and hidden deep within the layers of the universe! In this chapter, we are bringing the  story from three devotees who have tried to share their unbelievable experiences  that are beyond reasoning and imagination of the mind! He is the sun, the moon and every particle that makes up this universe. This is how we can envisage Him while reading these experiences.

1.    ‘Pure Brightness’: Ramadasa Gowda, Karnataka, India, October 2018

Words fail in describing this enigma that is Mohanji! This is exactly the feeling of Ramdasa Gowda, who has not met Mohanji physically but experienced Him in His expanded state! He has made an attempt to narrate his vision through a letter to the Sathguru! This experience throws open doors of dimensions that are unfathomable and draws us into unknown realms of existence. The most beautiful learning through this sharing is to look beyond the laughing, talking, unassuming form that walks this earth as Mohanji. A seeker has to look past these delusions and become HIM!

Ramadasa Gowda narrates:

“Sathguru Mohanananda Chaithanya Maha Prabho.”

I had the greatest of all visions and I am grateful to Him for that. I have never met Him physically. I had a vision of Him, which still vibrates within me as I write. The name that I have mentioned above came to me along with that vision. I am unable to explain what I saw about Him in human words.

mataji_Paint_1_350_200

I saw Him as pure brightness – an unexplainable brightness without a body. I saw Him entering and exiting though numerous incarnations as a bright light, leaving them purified and elevated. I saw Him entering through the lower chakras of people and going out of them as a pure stream of sharp bright light through their Sahasrara Padma (crown chkara), thus opening all their channels. I saw Him literally without a body, as pure bright light.

mataji_Paint_2_350_200

I saw Him coming out of the sun and merging back into it. He was moving at great speed, as a ball of light in the solar system. I saw Him entering and exiting trees, plants and many beings of this planet and many other planets simultaneously. I saw much more but I don’t know how to explain it all. He is beyond any explanations.

I believe that He is deliberately creating illusions by maintaining a form to ward off ineligible people from Himself. It’s true that many human beings cannot reach Him while non-human beings easily reach Him. I dare not ask who He is! I understand there is no name for pure brightness – something that has no birth or death. Those who can recognise Him are truly lucky. Finally, through all these, I understand that You are my innermost core self or my real self. “Am I right, Prabho (My Lord)?” is my innocent and sincere question that comes out of my heart. I hope my understanding is correct, that I should look nowhere anymore, not even at His available current form, which He uses to delude people. I do not dare to ask why He maintains this painful play, coated with pains of separation by the mind. I do not dare to look at Him. All I can pray to Him is to bless me so that I can “see” only His truth always.

“Guide me Prabho! Bless this one, Prabho! Make me Yourself!”

This is the cry that comes out from the heart of His humble servant.

–Ramadasa Gowda

2.    ‘Beyond the mind’: A devotee from India, September 2017

Mohanji’s communion with a world that is beyond our perception has been glimpsed at times by some devotees through amazing events that changes the idea of our very existence, pulling us out of what we assume to be ‘real.’ A doctor, who is also a devotee of our Parabrahma sensed the formless and fathomless depth of Mohanji, through an unbelievable vision! These may appear as mere coincidences and at times unexplainable unless viewed with an inner vision. Such divine miracles simply leave us in awe. Our Guru cannot be contained in this simple, physical frame of Mohanji that we are used to. Read on and enjoy this stunning narration by a devotee who narrated his experience to Madhusudhan, but has chosen to keep his identity anonymous. We respect his anonymity.

Madhusudhan narrates the story from the devotee:

This person is a close followerDV2_350_200 of Mohanji, a doctor who treats people using traditional methods such as Ayurveda. Mohanji and the doctor have known each other for many years. They share a deep spiritual bond too. Some time back, Mohanji visited the doctor’s clinic for some wellness therapy. During this time, the doctor used to visit Mohanji daily as part of his routine check-ups.

One morning, he came to Mohanji’s room as part of his routine. They exchanged pleasantries, but before he could enter the room, he was called aside to look at some urgent scan reports of another patient. The doctor was occupied with this for a brief while and when he went back into the room, he found Mohanji missing!

In his words, “I wondered about his whereabouts. I knew Mohanji couldn’t have gone out of the door as I was standing there, near the room. This was puzzling. So I connected through my inner vision realised, Mohanji was in my Guru’s Samadhi temple, nearby. Then I turned and saw Mohanji walking back to the room. He had a shawl draped over his shoulder. This was surprising as earlier he was wearing only a T-shirt. So how could this have changed?

I realised what had happened. Mohanji is omnipresent and he was in a communication with my Guru at the Samadhi. It just proves that this great soul who walks this Earth as Mohanji is not bound to his physical form. My head bowed to Mohanji, who despite of His extraordinary existence, behaves absolutely ordinary. With this realisation, even though I was totally speechless, Mohanji made sure that I came to normal state soon. He kept me engaged with the normal discussion regarding the wellness therapy. After my conversation with Him, I proceeded for other check ups carrying a smile on my face.”

This narration from the doctor, yet again shows through this divine vision of Mohanji, that He is beyond the body, the mind and the intellect! This body of His is only for interactions with the world! This physical form does not bind him. He lives in freedom. He is FREE.

Jai Mohanji.

Madhusudhan

3.  ‘The unseen aspects’: Jay Jayaseelan, London, September 2017

Being in the physical presence of Mohanji or in His energy field enabled Jay to connect with Mohanji and have a peek at the other divine side of Mohanji! Jay’s experience throws light on an aspect of Mohanji in communion with various divine beings that surround us but not visible to the gross self. Faith and belief are the only links that helps us understand or experience these divine visions! What is required of us is to just stay rooted in the energy field of Mohanji!

Jay Narrates:

Jay_with_Mohanji_350

During a recent trip by Mohanji to Skanda Vale, Wales, I had the opportunity to be with Him, driving Him there and looking after His well-being. While Mohanji was completely dedicated towards His mission to support the Skanda Vale community, staying busy for more than 12 hours every day, we (there were three of us with Him), were  trying to ensure that He had everything that He needed within reach. Being with Mohanji was like being in a powerhouse – especially during the union of divine pure souls of Skanda Vale community members.  All three of us (the assistants for this occasion), were highly charged and trying to keep up with the pace that unfolded during this period. Each moment was a big learning as I was going through a cycle of deep cleansing. Trying to keep pace with Mohanji’s efficiency and speed was no joke and not naturally possible for any of us, but for His grace. The three days in His presence passed like three moments, but with lots of experiences.

On the last night, all of us were up till very late with Mohanji. He was in a very relaxed mood and kept us rolling on the floor with laughter with His jokes. He was just trying to keep us joyful, as we were sad that this heavenly stay with Him would end soon. We chitchatted till 1:00 am!

I went to sleep, a little later that night. In my sleep, I felt as if I was in the middle of a big crowd. I felt as though there were lots of heads in and around Mohanji’s room. The whole area was very bright too. Although I could not see any faces, I could feel the presence of people/beings.

The next morning, I narrated this incident to Mohanji and He smiled.

He said, “Beings come to meet me every night. They were here last night too. You could peep in through the curtains and were able to see. This is what you saw last night.”

This was an amazing experience, after an energetic four days with Mohanji. Being in His energy field, I was able to witness such a wonderful and divine meeting!

I feel super blessed and filled with lots of energy! Heartfelt gratitude to Mohanji for having given me this opportunity!

“It is the union of consciousness that makes one “see” the unity in beings. The blindness factor that prevents this is called the MIND. – Mohanji”

 Divine Transformation

DT_1_350

Such transformations can be experienced in a myriad different ways, as is shown in the accounts of Moushumi and Sreenivas. These happen because of one’s connection with the Guru. Mohanji explains the non-duality in bhakthi (devotion), where our limited consciousness melts into the Supreme Consciousness, through His blog, ‘Krishna – The Eternal Romantic’ .

4. ‘Expression of Love’: Moushumi, UK, June 2018

love_650_400

Small changes we make in our everyday lives can add up to make our existence more meaningful and joyful. Read on to see how Mohanji’s teachings on being spontaneous and in the moment led Moushumi to become more friendly, gracious and empathetic.

Moushumi Narrates:

DT_moushumi_quote_350

It would be apt to begin my experience sharing with Mohanji’s quote which inspired me to write today.

I can say definitely that my life has changed significantly after I met Him. I remember Mohanji’s words when He was talking about smiling at strangers.

DT_Moushumi_350_200And it happens so naturally these days, after meeting Mohanji. I expereince it each day while going about my routine life. Such as during drop off and pick up at school and even grocery shopping! I have been happy all the time and strangely, now, it’s not just me but others, who are just strangers, they smile back too.

One such incident happened last Christmas.  I met a lady in the supermarket and wanted something but couldn’t find it. I asked her for help and she obliged happily, with a wonderful smile. My daughter thanked her and the lady asked us to hug her. It was all very spontaneous. After the hug, she became emotional; tears started to roll down. She thanked me for hugging and explained that it was a very warm hug that lasted for a few seconds. I knew immediately the cause behind the episode – Mohanji, my Guru ‘within’ made a seemingly commonplace incident, significant!

I recount another magical incident. I wear a Rudraksha mala which was blessed by Mohanji last year. Recently I experienced something beautiful when I hugged my friend. My friend explained that as I hugged her, she could smell a beautiful aroma/scent. When the mala touched her body, there was a feeling of overwhelming love, my eyes appeared transparent and very different and very importantly, she felt  a strong magnetic force!  I knew for certain that it was Mohanji’s grace at work. I felt His presence often that day. Koti koti pranam to my Guru.

There is not a single desire now that needs to be fulfilled.

–Moushumi

5. ‘A stride towards freedom’: G Srinivas, Chennai, India– September 2018

“Doership causes karma, ownership causes binding. When both are consciously forsaken, only freedom remains within.”  These words of Mohanji describe the journey to freedom of Srinivas. Read on as he explains his trials and tribulations, before finally resting against the pillar of faith!

Srinivas narrates:

Srinivas_with_Mohanji_350My name is G. Srinivas.  I am from Chennai and aged 53 years. It was through Facebook that I came in touch with Mohanji. He was in the friends list of a sadhu, a Shirdi Sai Baba follower. Something stirred my heart when I read His words. I sent a friend request and it was accepted. To be frank I was at crossroads of my so-called spiritual life. My Guru of over 30 years had left His body and I had not been able to reconnect with Him within myself. And Mohanji was the farthest from being my prospective Guru, at least as per outer signs. Here was a person who has an extraordinary attraction but defied description and definition. He wore white, had a beard but was not a sadhu. He had a wife and a child and also earned His living. He chanted mantras, gave initiation but also derided mechanical worship. He seemed so down to earth and also expounded profound thoughts. I read His write ups often, enchanted, but stopped half way not being able to comprehend the full import of His words.  His words stirred emotions within, but He seemed emotionless.

Somewhere in late 2015 He was about to visit Tiruvannamalai and I messaged Him that I wanted to meet Him. But I did not get a response. Later, there was a message on FB stating that we should stay at home and be safe due to the rains in Chennai. I registered for the initiation programme in Chennai, held on 8th March 2016. Here also, Mohanji continued to break stereotypes. The day started with light yogasananas and the rest of the time was taken up on question and answer sessions. Here was a Guru totally at ease and down to earth, chatting happily. I had doubts about taking initiation since I was already initiated by my previous Guru and my doubt was answered by Mohanji without as much as my voicing it! But for the usual prostrations by some and devotional singing of bhajans by a lone tearful lady, there were no outward signs of devotion or reverence. I waited patiently for a meditation session but it never came. It was a relief that at least there was an initiation session, with Mohanji pressing the spot between the eyebrows.

DT_3_350_200As I read Mohanji’s words, I subconsciously started watching my thoughts. I have had a love hate relationship with my mind. All along I had been chasing my ‘monkey’ mind with the stick of good conduct, morals and do and don’t. The result was that the monkey was more often playing truant and would bite me back.

I viewed the world coloured by the prism of emotions and was often miserable, momentarily happy or sad. My joyful moments were filled with dreaDT_4_350_200d of losing the joy, good conduct jarred with the fear and guilt of bad conduct and hours spent on ‘worldly’ conduct ended with the guilt about not thinking about God. God seemed unattainable with a ‘monkey’ mind. More often there was a continued restlessness. The dread of not ‘attaining’ God with each passing day made my life miserable. As I was emotionally attached to people and places my mind never found rest.

On deeper introspection stirred by Guruji ‘s words I started observing myself within. By His grace I could ‘unhinge’ from the clutches of repetitive negative thoughts and feelings, by focusing on the ‘now’ moment. Thereby I could escape from the shadow of past thoughts and impressions.

Mohanji on how to control a series of unwanted thoughts

Once, when I was going through a particularly tough phase, I chanted ‘Mohanji Gayatri’ and prayed for His grace. By this chanting and focusing on the eye card, I gained clarity in thinking. Free from the burden of expectations and judgements about myself, my actions and thoughts and the outer world, my mind achieved a lot of peace and equanimity. Whenever I had doubts they were answered instantly by Mohanji. I used to wonder why I did not meditate or have the inclination to meditate. I now understand that my Guru was working on clearing the cobwebs of the mind in the form of preconceived notions, judgements etc. about God, Guru and the world.

Mohanji on Being in Now, Silence and Existence

I find that after coming in contact with Mohanji and His grace, the burden of the world rests lightly on me. I have attained a sense of tranquility and peacefulness. I try to keep my emotions in check, be it elation or disappointment. And when I do slip, I take recourse to remembering Mohanji and His calm visage which comforts my mind immensely. A sense of inevitability rather than resignation has taken over me.

I understand that come what may in each and every aspect of my life, I have to put my best foot forward and time will take its course for good or better. Being in the ‘now’ I cherish, savour and contribute my best to each moment. That for me, coupled with His thoughts is the greatest blessing I can have.

After attending Mohanji’s satsangs and hearing His words, I feel I should give myself more to the world in the form of selfless actions. I am sure with His grace it will be done in due course.

DT_5_350_200I often had a dream which I could never decipher but enjoyed immensely. I saw myself striding on a long road all alone. The sights and sounds of the world flitted across my vision. But though I was seemingly running fast my feet seemed to glide on as if flying and I never ran out of breath. I always woke up with a strange sense of exhilaration and joy.

Now I understand it is Mohanji’s grace, which has enabled me to stride across this world with joy, free of all worries. If only I can envision His deep, penetrating eyes each moment, I will consider it His blessing.

Jai Mohanji.

 — G Srinivas

Divine Healing

“Surrender is a subtle matter. When total surrender happens, suffering is removed. Absolute surrender removes duality, too. Yet, what will be given is what is right for you and not what your mind wants. What is right for you is that which ultimately sets your soul free.” – Mohanji

6. ‘Healing of throat pain’: Bojana Fabel, Macedonia, March 2017

When we surrender to the Guru and feel true love for Him in our hearts, He will take care of our every need. Mohanji says, “If you have firm faith and conviction in your path, tradition or Guru, that itself will lead you, guide you. All you need is firm faith and conviction.” Bojana narrates what happened when she fell ill at a crucial time in her career, and how her prayers were answered.

Bojana narrates:

Bojana_with_mohanji_350_200I would like you to read this post, as I want to share my most recent experience with Mohanji. I am a singer and I had a very important concert performance in Singapore on the 15th of March. The night before the concert, I felt a slight throat irritation. The next day on the day of the concert, I was diagnosed with tonsillitis. I took all the medicines prescribed, yet I felt extremely exhausted and went to bed with the need to sleep and to rest my tired and feverish body.

Before falling asleep, I wrote to the Mohanji team for some support and protection from Mohanji and they told me that He would take care of me.  20 minutes later, I felt a huge wave of very warm energy that was actually around me but not inside of me (as I was having fever inside my body).

I fell asleep. When I woke up an hour later, my energy level was much higher. I had no pain at all in my throat. Miraculously the pain had vanished.

Bojana_singing_350

During my performance, I sang effortlessly and all I could witness was ecstatic faces of joy and laughter, and not a single moody or unhappy person. Everyone was dancing and smiling.

As Mohanji frequently says:  “I do my job”, So He did! He took over my problems ….

With love and enormous appreciation,

Yours truly, Bojana

7. ‘Healing of foot pain’: Rashila Pankania, UK, December 2017

Mohanji’s presence in our lives gives us so much peace, solace and joy. When we pray with faith and surrender, He responds. There are times in all our lives when the mind questions and asks for some kind of tangible evidence to feel our connection to Him. Rashila shares with us how her yearning for a miracle became a beautiful reality. “When devotion overflows, the devotee melts. God reciprocates and melts too.” – Mohanji.

Rashila narrates:

Rashila_with_Mohanji_350_200Yesterday, as I was moving a bookshelf, the shelf came off and hit my foot. This was an old-fashioned bookshelf made from real wood and was extremely heavy. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t move my foot, but I knew I hadn’t broken it as I was able to hobble on it. By that evening, after a hot bath, the pain had worsened. I was in so much agony that I wondered if I would be able to attend the Christmas fun night which coming up in two days! This was an ACT UK organised fund raising event and I had been looking forward to taking part in it very much.

I did my Kriya the next morning, but couldn’t sit cross legged for long. I had to keep moving my leg as any pressure on the foot was so painful. I finished my Kriya and offered aarati as usual to all the deities in my altar. I offered aarati to Mohanji’s photo, which was also in my altar. As soon as I moved away after giving Him the aarati, I realised that I had no pain in my foot! He had gracefully healed me! From having a painful foot, I was now with no pain at all. I didn’t even pray to Mohanji to heal me! He knew and did His job!

DH_1_350_200Not only had He healed me and removed my pain, He had also removed the obstacle, which would have prevented me from attending the event that I had been looking forward to. Most importantly, He gave me the evidence my mind was seeking. My mind was asking for a miracle from Him, to show me that I am really connected to Him! With this incident, He showed me that I am connected to Him, and in such a beautiful way! However much our mind doubts or wonders, Guru is always there, the connection intact, just like the electricity connection in our house. We just need to ‘on’ the switch and realise it!

Thank you Mohanji for the reaffirmation and for being with me always.

Koti pranams to you Gurudev.

8. Healing of birds, September 2017

Mohanji says, “When we witness the same permanent object in all beings such as human beings, trees, plants, animals, and birds, beings of the air, sea and land that exist all around us, we become truly universal. We become liberated.” Mohanji lives by example; His unconditional love to all beings of the earth is always evident.

Milica from South Africa shares with us how Mohanji’s physical proximity had healed a little bird, and Subhasree from London shares with us how her prayers to Mohanji had healed an injured bird – both happened on the same day, thousands miles apart, witnessed by different people, the healing source being ONE and the SAME – Mohanji.

Milica, South Africa:

On Monday during a visit from Mohanji’s from Mauritius to South Africa, we were having small satsang. Suddenly a small bird flew into a glass door which was next to where Mohanji was seated. The bird was hurt and fell down. It was gently picked up and placed on Mohanji’s lap. It stayed there for a while, looking very calm and resting peacefully. Initially we thought it had a broken wing and tail. After about half an hour of being on Mohanji’s lap, it recovered well and was ready to fly.

We felt that this soul was very determined to meet Mohanji and was blessed to have had such love from Him!

Jai Mohanji!

 Subhasree, London :

hurt_bird_350On Monday late in the afternoon, I was waiting on a platform for my train. Suddenly, an injured bird came flying slowly, landed near me and started limping. There was no one else around me and I didn’t know what I could do to help. Therefore, I just started praying to Mohanji, chanting His Gayatri. As I was chanting Mohanji Gayatri, I noticed that the bird seemed to calm down and just sat in one place. I continued to chant. After a few minutes, it seemed to recover well, and flew off with no evidence of any unsteadiness. Such is the power of Mohanji. Just by chanting His name, the bird was healed!

 Jai Mohanji!

9. ‘Mohanji, the anchor!’: G Srinivas, Chennai, India, June 2018

We face many challenges in life, but with the guidance and protection from the Guru, we pass the storms of life with relative ease. Mohanji says, “Surrender is a subtle matter. When total surrender happens, suffering is removed. Duality is removed too.” A beautiful sharing by Srinivas shows us how deep faith and surrender to Mohanji protected his family.

Srinivas narrates:

Srinivas_2_350I have been regularly chanting the ‘Mohanji Gayatri’ and praying with Mohanji’s eye card. This gives me great peace, equanimity and emotional composure. One day, in mid-June this year, I had some personal work to finish and had a strong instinct to apply for 3 days leave. This was sanctioned by my bosses. On the same day, I received a call in the evening from my son, informing me that he was sick and was being admitted for medical care. The next day, along with my wife, I rushed to Bangalore to find out that he had been admitted to the ICU with a chest infection. I could feel the grace of Mohanji all along. I just kept praying and being in the present, and everything worked out fine thereon. Everything happened smoothly.

I was guided subtly to make arrangements for obtaining reimbursement for expenses by making inquiries. There was an apprehension that the medical bill would be quite high as per the inquiries made, but the final bill came out to be very reasonable and by the grace of Mohanji, my son made a quick recovery.

A month later, on the 18th & 19th of July 2018, a  chance inquiry by my wife, prompted by apprehension and made in haste with an astrologer, followed by his negative words regarding my son’s health caused us much emotional turmoil. My wife was distraught and exhibited highly temperamental behaviour, which was quite natural for a mother. I took it upon myself to maintain a calm composure and also to take care of her.

DH_eye_350The dark energies seemed to have encircled us that night.   However, I clung to my faith in Mohanji and His eye card, which I kept under my pillow that night, so that I could pass the storm of anxiety and restlessness with emotional composure.

I realised that without the grace of Mohanji, I could have panicked and it could have had a detrimental effect on my health, as I suffer from hypertension. The storm passed with Mohanji as my anchor. After the night of mental trauma, the next day, I sought help from Mohanji by messaging Him.

My message read, “Guruji, our family is seized by a great fear of misfortune due to a prediction regarding my son’s health. Please save us. This comes at a time when we have planned to build a temple with Shirdi Sai’s grace. Please help us. Jai Mohanji.”

Mohanji’s reassuring words, “Faith can move mountains. Have unshakable faith. Miracles will happen. I am with you. Bless you.” acted as a balm to my anguished heart.

I am sure with His grace and guidance anything can be accomplished. My fervent wish remains that I am able to surrender everything at His feet and forever remember His calm and serene eyes, so that this alternating dream of sweet and stormy life passes by.

Jai Mohanji!

With deep gratitude and love, we offer this second chapter of ‘Mohanji Satcharita’ at the lotus feet of Brahmarishi Mohanji! It was only through His grace that this Satcharita saw the light of day. Pure intention and faith was all that we had, as we commenced this chapter. As instruments, we bow to our Guru with this verse from the Guru Gita:

“Gurubhāvaḥ paraṁ tīrthamanyatīrthaṁ nirarthakam
Sarvatīrthāśrayaṁ devi pādāṅguṣṭhaṁ ca vartate”

Which means:

“Absorption in the Guru is the most sacred place; every other place of pilgrimage is meaningless. O Goddess, the big toe of the Guru’s (right) foot is the abode of all places of pilgrimage.”

Jai Shree Guru Datta.

Jai Mohanji.

The Scar of Richness: Part 1

Written by: Mina Obradovic

It is true!

So many times I have heard people and Masters, including Mohanji, saying that if one falls in frequency by talking bad about somebody, especially Masters, it will take them so many lifetimes to again come to the stage of being in the presence of Masters (like we are in Mohanji’s presence now).

It is said that the journey from total blindness to a point of even knowing about a Master takes numerous lifetimes, let alone being in his physical presence. As a normal human being, with a prejudiced mind, I could not understand this truth until I experienced the scars of it on my own skin. Today, because of this scar, I can call myself RICH, because this scar reminds me of the gratitude I must have towards God for holding my hand even when I chose to fall and for helping me climb the stairs of fire to reach Mohanji in this life, after great struggle in the past. RICH is whatever holds the key of gratitude towards the Almighty, because without Himself nothing would have had any meaning, just like my life before meeting Mohanji didn’t have. This scar also reminds me of the power every word we utter has and it taught me to think carefully before speaking. This SCAR is RICHNESS, and in order to avoid suffering on your spiritual path, please learn from my mistakes and let your reminder be my scar, and not your own.

After one of the major tests of my life (given by the negative side) which happened recently (I will not go into details now – maybe in another blog), I had to literally take several days to mentally recover and be able to see light again. During those couple of days I was continuously in an anxious and partially depressive state. Luckily, I received help from a doctor and a few other friends who took extra care of me during my recovery, as I was unable to do so on my own.

Light

The negative beings, apart from whispering lies in my ears that the people who were actually helping me get through my condition are in fact evil and they want nothing but to use me and hurt me, they were also trying hard to separate me from my own self and everything good that I can think and do for myself and society, with the aim of finally detaching me from the white path and its Masters.

Although many realizations arose within me throughout this experience, today I will emphasize only one, in my opinion the most important one – the TRUTH behind the wise words “Speaking bad about a Master, criticizing, abusing and blaming Him will make you take thousands of lifetimes to even know about Him, let alone be close to one such. It will push you that many lifetimes backwards and seeing light will only rest in your dreams until you achieve that eligibility again. The path towards that eligibility may not be easy – you may have to walk on fire and thorns, spill blood and sweat, suffer and die many times, but once you achieve it, it will feel like it is nothing. It will feel very easily achievable and losing it will feel like drinking a cup of coffee.”

Sitting on my bed 3 days after one of the major tests of my life that I previously mentioned, I was spontaneously pushed into a trance state where I saw one of my past lives from thousands of years ago.

I was a young boy, rapidly and effortlessly progressing in my spiritual journey. I saw myself sitting in a lotus posture in front of a very old person (I assumed and felt that he was my guru from that time).

I merged with the young boy’s consciousness and could clearly hear his thoughts, “I didn’t have to work too much to achieve all this spiritual wealth that I have now. It is not true that it is hard to achieve all this! See how I achieved everything and I am still so young. Imagine how much I will achieve later!” I could hear his silent thought of wondering how it is all true. The old person who was sitting in front of him (me), my Guruji, replied to my thoughts out loud in a language that I could not understand. Being aware of a trance state and that I am still sitting on my bed of my current life, I could feel vibrations of Guruji’s words travelling through my mind and spontaneously being translated into English. He said, “What you have now is what you and your ancestors have earned in the past. Only because you easily have it today it doesn’t mean that it is easily achievable. Let no ego enter your system. Always remember the blood and sweat spilled for the spiritual awareness that you possess today. Beware.”
I said, “Oh, Guruji! You are so powerful, you could hear my thoughts! Sorry, Guruji, for thinking this way, I didn’t know. Please take my ego away. But Guruji, remembering blood and sweat, isn’t that negative?”
Guruji replied, “If spilled for God’s grace, glory and His children, remembering blood and sweat is greater than the greatest sadhana. It awakens all the core principles of our Tradition, all at once – gratitude, humility and inspiration to do more for God and all His numerous children.”

I felt so nice sitting in Guruji’s presence. His words seemed real, but I didn’t understand His point and that is being aware that all what is flourishing today has a root of great effort in the past. If today we are smelling a flower, it means that yesterday we worked hard in the fields and waited patiently to bring that flower to life.

Guruji was very silent and very thin. He was looking peaceful. I saw many Saints and Masters protecting me and supporting me from different dimensions of the whole Universe, only because I am with Guruji. All Saints, Masters, Siddhas, Avadhootas and Gods were protecting me, EQUALLY as They were protecting my Guruji, despite of the fact that I cannot even be compared to Him, considering His spiritual stature. He was an Avadhoota, God and a Master of all Masters that I could not understand at that time. Still, I was given the equal power and protection by the graceful hands of Guru Mandala.

Frozen in this trance state, not being able to move, act or say anything, I was still sitting in the same position on the bed. Only my silent breath was audible. The vision of me and Guruji along with all celestial beings around us suddenly vanished, and I could feel Mohanji’s hand on my forehead, expanding my third eye more.

Mina_Shaktipat.JPG

I felt He is helping me to see and experience more from that life. I wondered which role that life plays in my current one. There must be a reason for Mohanji showing it to me. Thousands of years must have passed, why is it important to remember it now? I received no answer. Only silence and blank mind were predominant for a few seconds.

Suddenly I was pushed a couple of years ahead in that life. Now, I was completely alone. No Guruji, no celestial beings around me, no protection and no grace that I was previously able to see in a form of white light. All I could see is dark, dark and dark, in many forms and shapes, as numerous low-frequent beings who were happily sucking whatever energy I had left within me. I wondered, “Where did all that brightness disappear?” I was looking drained and my skin was dry. I looked weaker than before. My eyes were half-shut as I was sitting in a lotus position, trying to enter one of the states of samadhi that I used to enter so easily before, when Guruji was there to hold my hand. I was struggling, but nothing was happening. I realized that I no longer possess all the spiritual wealth that I thought I will never lose. What happened in between? What did I do? This vision vanished as well. I was pushed again years and years ahead of that life, to the moment where I left my body.

eye

My following lifetimes were flashing before my eyes – hard struggle from body to body, birth – struggle – suffering – death, repeating cycles, ups and downs, with one constant desire and craving – to see and feel light again, at least for one single second. Flashes stopped and I saw myself as a young lady in Japan, again sitting and meditating in a lotus posture. I was covered in dark violet cloth and was wearing orange pants. Barefoot, my feet were facing the sky. I felt myself focusing on my inner space, again with the same desire and craving, and suddenly I could feel a glimpse of bliss that sparkled within! This inner glow expanded my heart and I could suddenly feel so much love and peace lighting from the inside!

My guruji from the life when I was a young boy appeared in front of me in white light.

An angel in our midst. In Limpopo.

He lovingly said, “My child, I told you many times, if you do certain things, you will take numerous lifetimes to experience only a glimpse of me again. Now do you feel it? Do not repeat the same mistake again. Remember the struggle this has taken. Love all. Never judge, never criticize.”
Suddenly a huge realization arose within this devoted young lady, another seeker of truth – “This small glimpse of light that I BARELY experienced now is the light that I used to feel CONTINUOUSLY in that life when Guruji was with me!

whitelight

I am filled with gratitude to God for giving me this much, only a glimpse of bliss, but where was my gratitude when I had it all? I was one step away from the highest. Only because of inability to see the effort done in the past, I have easily fallen into the hands of the negative!”

Still sitting on the bed of my room, suddenly I was filled with fear of losing the proximity to Mohanji’s grace in this life. “How was I given this much? Now it feels so easy to lose it all.” The trance state started dissolving, and I could still feel myself trembling of that thought. Separation from the white – is it really something that occurs somewhere far away from me, or is it something I should pay more attention to? In a search of an answer, my experience led me to the second one. After a few moments, the fear dissolved as well, and all that remained was the humble gratitude.

The main moment from today was that of those numerous lives flashing before my eyes, because, I could not only see, but I could literally FEEL the pain, suffering and the struggle that I had to go through to earn what I have today. “Nothing falls from the sky, especially not the spiritual wealth.” is the lesson of my day today, as well as one of my whole life.

I will write a separate blog on what happened to myself as a young boy who fell down to level zero of his spiritual path.
