Kalpataru Series – A prayer from the heart!

Mohanji and Sai

By Dr. Nikita Naredi

You call me and I will be there!” That’s what Mohanji always affirms to his global family. We, with our limited minds, may not fathom the intensity of these words but our experiences help us understand the power of these words. He listens to our every wish with love and fulfills it for us immediately.

I would like to share one such beautiful experience which exhibits only one thing: He is always with us. Life was a bit topsy-turvy at my end and in spite of better acceptance as compared to before, I would get jittery. I really wanted to meet Mohanji physically and take his blessings. I sought permission to meet him on 31st December in Bangalore and hoped by then he would be back after the Mookambika retreat. However, I was told he had some urgent commitments and would not be available during that period. I tried twice but got the same answer. I was sad but I kept praying to him, “I have to meet you. Come what may.”

nikita2

I was undergoing a painful dental procedure with multiple sessions but that day I kept praying to Mohanji and the session just went off very smoothly. Sitting on the dentist’s chair, I kept remembering him and thinking about how I could meet him.

As soon as I was out of the procedure room, I got a message from Kirti Khandelwal. She asked me to accompany her to Shirdi that weekend as Mohanji was visiting Shirdi and he had asked her to bring me along. What? I could not believe my ears. Don’t know why but I started scrolling down my Whatsapp page and lo and behold, I saw Mohanji’s message asking me to visit him in Shirdi that weekend. Living in Pune, it was very feasible for us. Was it a miracle? Was it a super blessing? It was both. My prayers were answered and when I wrote this to Mohanji, he said you were praying very earnestly, so I had to come. All this has only one connotation: He is with us always; we need to have faith and surrender our wishes to our Master.

Mohanji and Sai 2

The whole visit had been planned for us by the Pune Mohanji family. We had a mesmerising time with our Master, our Guru, our God. There was an impromptu satsang and in spite of his hectic schedule and travelling, He gave us time individually, listening to us, giving us so much love and guiding us with advice among with his blessings, and the most comforting words “I am with you always“. He is always with us indeed.

It doesn’t end here. Being in Shirdi and that too with your Master can only happen with Sai Baba‘s blessings. We wanted to have darshan of Baba at the Samadhi Mandir and thank him for calling us to that blessed soil again. It was already late evening and we knew getting into the Sanctum Sanctorum means a long queue and we had to head back to Pune the same evening. So we decided to have darshan through the Muk Mandir (main entrance), visit Dwarka Mai and return. After the Muk Mandir Darshan, we were not satisfied and longed to be there in front of Baba and again our wish was fulfilled. As we were going inside, we coincidentally met Savitri Aunty, an ardent devotee of Mohanji and an active Ammucare volunteer who had an entrance pass to go inside the temple through the Nandi Dwar which means a cakewalk to the Sanctum. We jumped with joy and elation. Who was orchestrating this? Mohanji? Baba? They are one! We went inside in a jiffy and as we were standing in front of Baba, another bonus awaited us. The steel railing around the Samadhi which is always closed was pulled apart. We stood there, mesmerised. Miracle again….touching Baba’s Samadhi was a big prasad …

With so much joy, happiness and bliss, we returned to the hotel to pick up our bags and have a quick bite at the Ahimsa Vegan café before we started on our way back. The icing on the cake was still left. Mohanji happened to come to the cafe again. He offered us blessings and waved us goodbye with overflowing love like a mother till we could no more see him from our moving vehicle.

My every breath, every cell, is at your lotus feet Mohanji, in deep gratitude.

An umbrella of Grace

By G Sreenivas

I wish to record the most joyful and miraculous happenings during the consecration of a Shirdi Sai temple in Pazhaya Seevaram village, Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, which happened under the divine guidance and presence of Gurudev Mohanji himself in September 2019.

My wife and I met Mohanji in Thrissur in Dec 2018 and requested him to consecrate our Sai temple. Mohanji most readily agreed and blessed us. The construction of the temple was in its final stages but like any other project, it got delayed towards the end. Mohanji’s appointment could be got till the end of March but after that, his diary of appointments was filled up. I continued to liaise with Rajesh Kamath and Preeti Duggalji. Some people involved with the temple construction appeared to be in a hurry. But then there was no convenient date. I prayed to Mohanji and one early morning, I had a dream of receiving an email that Mohanji’s appointment could be got only in early September 2019. The reason was that some cleansing had to be done; some karma had to be worked out. I shared this dream with my wife also. When I next spoke to Rajesh Kamath, Mohanji confirmed the date as 8th Sep 2019 with a quip, “Did I not already inform him? He knows!” It was just a reiteration of the message I got in my dreams. But at that time, we never knew the import of the message.

Since we had a good six months for the consecration, it was decided to build an annexe building to the Shirdi Sai temple, consisting of two rooms, one for the priest and one for us to stay as and when we went there. The work started. Then the roller coaster of events unveiled one by one. It was, in turn, a play of light and darkness.

Temple

It so turned out that my promotion for which I was waiting for more than 3 years materialized in the 2nd week of June 2019. It was my wife’s wish to go on transfer to Bangalore and stay with her son since he was hospitalized just a few months back. But I was torn between my duty towards my ageing parents and anxiety about the future maintenance of the temple. However, we had prayed to Shirdi Sai and gave an application for retention in Chennai with Bangalore as a 2nd choice, if the transfer was inevitable. Against all odds, I was promoted and retained in Chennai and posted to an office near my residence.

As they say, with the high comes the low. Barely a week after I assumed charge in my new post, we went to Bangalore to attend a family function. Just as the function culminated and we were looking forward to some time with our relatives, there came the bolt from the blue. Standing at the corner of a road, my son was hit by a speeding bike and had his right leg fractured. Emergency hospital admission and surgery followed within the next 24 hrs. I just kept holding on to the mental image of Mohanji and clinging to his grace to give me resilience. It was as though we had been tossed like a straw in the sea, churned by the turn of events. A week earlier, I had a strange premonition of wasteful expenditure and here it was turning out to be true. One hospital admission led to another for infection and the period of recuperation started.

It was painful to see our son suffering from severe pain and depression. But then ‘karma’ had to be worked out. Amidst the roller coaster of events, I kept my emotions at bay and clung on to ‘Mohanji Gayatri’. Due to severe water shortage in Chennai, we were compelled to keep our son in Bangalore, till he recovered. With the grace of Mohanji, we passed the storm and my son was ‘back on his feet’ literally by mid-August. Baba’s statue arrived on 25th August to the temple. I now understood the reason for Guruji’s appointment after a delay of nearly 6 months. By his grace, construction of the annexe building of the temple too was completed and lo and behold, Sep 2019 had come!

If life was churning out events in fast forward mode, Mohanji’s grace ensured that I did not falter and fall. His grace is the anchor that holds us steady even when the tide of events and happenings seek to overturn us.

On the temple construction front too, things were happening in fast forward mode. While work was getting completed, minor irritants cropped up. With the grace of Mohanji and Shirdi Sai, problems for funds miraculously got solved. But then to our shock, a person who was with us through thick and thin suddenly developed severe anger and animosity towards our family. It was personally very painful, hard and humiliating. Amidst all this misery, the only ray of happiness seemed to be the impending arrival of Mohanji for the consecration.

SAI

On 1st Sep, we met Mohanji who had come to attend a marriage in Chennai. When we showed him the picture of the statue of Shirdi Sai, he remarked that Baba was very beautiful and the statue was very powerful. This gladdened our hearts. We later expressed our anguish regarding the fall out with people close to us and Mohanji had these words “When Baba is coming, there will be great churning. People will leave us. Events will happen. But do not be rude with them. If they go, let them go, they will come back. But if you reply rudely they may never come back.” He further remarked “Do you think building a temple is a small thing? It is an event which has an impact on the whole lineage of ancestors and future generations. Even Swami Ganeshananda Giri went through so many troubles. He had to pick up the spade to do the temple work himself.” It was implied that we had to go through difficulties amidst all this and were thankful for Mohanji’s umbrella of grace.

Amidst our preoccupation with our son’s health and temple work, a proposed visit to Shirdi could not materialize. I desired to keep the temple invitation at Baba’s feet in Shirdi and implore him to ‘stay’ in my temple in ‘sookshma’ (subtle) form. It was also my desire to somehow invite Sulakhe Maharaj for the consecration. But it remained an unfulfilled wish. Just a day before the consecration, a close relative warned me that keeping a full-time priest for the temple would prove to be costly and uneconomical and I was suddenly beset with fears of sustaining the temple financially. I had no choice but to inevitably surrender at the feet of Shirdi Sai and Mohanji.

The tireless work of those around us ensured that all arrangements were in place for the consecration. Mohanji, Preethi Duggalji and yet another Swamiji had checked into a hotel in Kanchipuram, the previous day. The moment of Mohanji’s arrival had come. We were super excited as were the other ‘Mohanji brethren’ there. Mohanji was welcomed with ‘Poornakumbha’ and mala. We were desirous of doing pada puja and Mohanji very kindly consented before asking twice, “Do you surely want to do pada puja?” How could we miss such a wonderful chance! Thereafter Mohanji proceeded to do the consecration duly consulting the Brahmins there. Baba’s eyes were ‘opened’ through the prescribed rituals. A treasured moment! Mohanji then put in a bundle of money into the hundi and also directed Devadasji and others to put money in the hundi. The ceremonial fire in the Dhuni was also lit by Mohanji.

Later he asked me “Do you know why I put money in the hundi?” When I looked askance, he replied: “Don’t worry; now you will get enough money, run the temple nicely.” I understood that it was an unasked reply for the earlier day’s predicament and question. A doubt set to rest, a wish fulfilled by Mohanji. Such is his compassion and grace! My prostrations at his feet. Needless to say, since then money has been coming in various ways and through unknown sources for the development of the temple!

As we were returning after lighting the Dhuni, Mohanji casually quipped that he had got a call the previous day from Sulakhe Maharaj who was returning after doing aarati from Shirdi sanctum, and Sai baba had whispered in his ears, “Call Mohanji, call Mohanji.” When Mohanji told Sulakhe Maharaj that he was going for the consecration of a Sai temple the next day, Sulakhe Maharaj conveyed Baba’s message, “Tell him (Mohanji) that I am already there.” Such grace!

Even as I recall this incident, I get goosebumps. It just meant that Shirdi Sai was replying to my ardent prayer and also conveying the message via Sulakhe Maharaj (whom I had wished to invite) through Mohanji to me. All this without my verbally conveying to anyone! Is it not proof that my Guru, clothed in the cloak of ordinariness, is one with the Supreme Awareness, who fulfils the innermost desire of his devotees? I recall he had written in a book I had purchased “I am with you always.” So true! Only because he was ‘with’ me, he could fathom the wish in my heart and fulfil it.

Mohanji also mentioned that he was currently in Jammu (North India) and he had come all the way specifically for the function happening in South India. When I expressed my gratitude and thanked him, he said he had to come because Shirdi Sai had bid him do so and that ‘we all’ are one before the eyes of Shirdi Sai. Such humility! I can only bow before his stature.

homa

Meanwhile, Mohanji kept speaking and blessing people who paid their obeisance. His expression of giving himself totally to those around him did not change a wee bit. It was our ardent desire that our son also meet him and Mohanji had a down to earth conversation with him regarding his career and plans. Such effortless getting into the groove of another person and interacting with them as per their inclination and interest has to be seen to be believed. A chance meeting with an old friend, one Mr. Murali happened and Mohanji promised to wait till his old friend completed his meal and then recalled their association and enquired about his family member’s well-being as well. We, the members of ‘M’ family, made the most of those cherished moments, savouring his physical presence and clinging to his words.

I had intended to donate to the Mohanji Foundation as Guru Dakshina. I handed over a cheque of Rs. 50K to Preeti Duggalji in an envelope. Within 10 minutes, she returned it to me stating that Mohanji had refused to take anything from Baba’s place, i.e. Sai temple. Later, Preeti Duggalji stated that Mohanji had asked me to keep the money intended for donation for the improvement of the Sai temple.

Later, I called Preeti Duggalji to check if any extra expenses were incurred by Mohanji and the group at the hotel in Kanchipuram. I wanted the bank details to transfer the money for any expense that they may have incurred. Preeti Duggalji replied that there was no amount due and Mohanji also wanted to pay back for the room booking as he had come for Sai’s work. I was speechless. Such is Mohanji’s love for Sai. Mohanji’s humility and respect for the tradition and Sai Baba stands out through this gesture.

Mohanji does not expect or require anything from us. He willingly and lovingly stretched himself to be present for Baba’s consecration in spite of his hectic schedule and back pain. He works selflessly, supporting his devotees and goes out of his way to help in every way possible.

Words fail to express the feelings of gratitude in my heart. The praise of my Guru cannot be sung in words adequately. A stanza from Shiva Mahimna Stotra sums up my predicament.

Radha Sreenivas adds:

We are grateful to Mohanji for not only fulfilling our biggest wish, the consecration of the Baba temple, but also for the small desires, just like a father.

Whenever I listened to the Guru paduka stotram, I would mentally picture myself worshipping Mohanji’s feet and would intensely desire that it would turn out to be true.

This wish was fulfilled quite unexpectedly and I still cherish the possession of the towel with which we wiped his feet. Such was his blessing!

We cherished every moment spent with him and stuck to his physical presence all through the program and it was my secret wish to get some prasad from his hands. This was also miraculously fulfilled when Mohanji sat for lunch. I was overjoyed when he handed over a piece of laddu to me. He gave Rekha a laddu to be distributed to others. She was also given a piece of the papad that he was eating!

I felt overwhelmed when Mohanji left, as if I was bidding adieu to a near and dear one.

group

Rekha Murali narrates:

It was a double treat for the Chennai M family as Mohanji visited us on two consecutive weekends. With great excitement, our small group waited for his arrival at the temple. His beautiful smile as he greeted each one of us filled our hearts with love and we were basking in the bliss of his presence.

Just the previous week, during the marriage, I showed him the picture of the statue of Sai Baba that had arrived at the temple. He looked at it deeply for a few seconds and mentioned that Baba was beautiful and powerful.

Radha and Sreenivas were anxious to meet him and formally hand over the invitation for the consecration. When I asked Mohanji if they could come over to the wedding hall to invite him (on 1st September), he immediately replied, “This is Baba’s temple. I don’t need an invitation.”

On 8th September, severe back pain did not deter him from travelling from Jammu to Chennai for the second time followed by an hour’s travel by road to this small town near Chennai for the temple consecration.

It was a hot day and Mohanji patiently stood in the hot sun watching and participating in the proceedings. His love for Baba was visible in the manner in which he carried out the rituals. Wiping Baba’s eyes after an abhisekam and wiping his mouth very gently was a sight to behold.

He not only gifted an audumbra plant, but he also planted it himself at the side of the temple. He also spent three full hours patiently blessing each person from the village who thronged the temple. Amidst this crowd, when he spotted a young bride and groom, he ensured that they were given his card with his blessings. While blessing the crowd that fell at his feet, he spoke to every member of the M family who was present there giving all of us a patient hearing and showering us with his grace and blessings. In spite of the humidity, he kept all of us in good humour, teasing and pulling our legs. Along with this, the photo sessions were also in progress. Truly an incredible day!

In his most casual way, he heard each of our thoughts and blessed us accordingly. As Mohanji says, he was doing his job. Every small desire was fulfilled amidst the function.

I had a dream of receiving prasad from Mohanji during the havan in Kailash. Surprisingly, the Kailash water was handed over to me by Chitra Aylam during this consecration. Unassuming and casual, he saw that he gave each one what was required.

I relive that day of bliss often. For me, the statue of Sai at the temple came alive. I was in the presence of Sai, a walking, talking, hugging and loving Sai Mohana!

Trust is the essence

Mji1

By Rijesh K, London

I came to know about Mohanji in 2016 when my senior colleague Subhasree introduced us to Mohanji and his teachings. We supported Subhasree by getting involved in charity activities lead by ACT Foundation UK and also started participating in the Power of Purity meditation and HSTY Yoga sessions that Subhasree used to conduct for us after work. I felt amazing transformations within myself after I started doing the meditations. Somewhere inside me, an inclination towards spirituality was there, which got more defined and streamlined as I connected to Mohanji’s consciousness and continued the meditations.

360-degree-meditation

Slowly I started doing 360 degrees meditation regularly, which took me to even deeper experiences. Along with my regular day to day life with work, family etc., I continued the meditations. In October 2017, I got my first opportunity to meet Mohanji during a one-day programme in London. Meeting the Master in his physical form was a wonderful experience. I was able to feel and witness the changes in frequencies around me and the energetic changes happening in and around me.

meditation

I received yet another golden opportunity to be with Mohanji for a day in August 2018 during the London retreat. I felt my connection with Mohanji growing stronger. In the meantime, a few months before this meeting, I had experienced a miraculous escape from what could have been a nasty car accident. My friends, my wife with our 5-year-old son were all with me inside the car during the accident. We emerged without a single scratch, while the car had to be completely written off. We knew immediately that it was Mohanji who protected us. When I met Mohanji in August 2018, I felt an amazing assurance that he is always holding our hands in all situations.

During the year, Subhasree had moved out from the project and our meditation and ACT activities had nearly stopped. However, the lamp of connection to Mohanji was still very much alive.

Very recently, I had a profound experience which reassured  me that Mohanji is with us every moment.

About 3 months back, my mother had a brain stroke. I rushed from London to India. In this difficult time, I thought of Mohanji and also requested Subhasree to pray to Mohanji for my mother. It was not an easy situation as my wife was expecting our second child and was due very soon. Soon, I experienced the grace of the divine that came through Mohanji’s blessings. My mother recovered very soon from that stroke and went back home without any nasty after effect. In my heart, I knew this was a miracle by Mohanji. I returned to London and soon our second child was born.

A few weeks later, doctors diagnosed that my mother’s tumour in the brain was cancerous. They suggested that she undergo some intense series of radiations. However, after a few sessions of radiation, my mother’s condition deteriorated. I rushed to India again. At one point, the doctors said that nothing can be done and advised taking her home and keeping her in palliative care for the next few months as long as she survives.

My mother was very happy and peaceful when she reached home. Within 3 days of bringing her back home, one night after a very peaceful day with meeting some relatives, having dinner with all, she went to bed as usual. As I was sitting near her and massaging her hands, I felt as if Mohanji was sitting next to her. I even saw Subhasree sitting along with Mohanji, next to my mother. I was feeling very sad watching my frail mother. Slowly my mother was sinking and soon without much pain and suffering, she took her last breath early the next morning.

Mji

I then realised that the presence of Mohanji that I felt near my mother was surely what helped her in her peaceful and smooth exit. It was also worthwhile to mention that, on that day, I was wearing a ‘Mohanji T-Shirt’!

The next day, when I went to collect the ashes, as the people were about to pour water to cool down the ashes, suddenly out of nowhere, it rained for a few minutes. The ashes became cool and I was able to collect it. For me, this was a clear sign that my mother’s soul has departed happily and she indicated it this way.

I can’t thank Mohanji  enough for making my mother’s journey so smooth. I am glad that she left happily, content and without suffering a lot.

This whole episode has reassured me that no matter how often I meet Mohanji or communicate with him, the connection to his consciousness that was established once, stays alive. When we have total trust and faith, with just a thought and remembrance, Mohanji comes to help us, protect us. In these few months of difficulties, Mohanji was certainly holding my hand and the way he ensured the smooth and peaceful exit of my mother, I realised the power of the connection with consciousness.

This was indeed a miracle that my heart recognised.

Thank you Mohanji for being with us and touching so many people’s lives in miraculous ways!

“If someone trusts in me, I always do my best.” – Mohanji

The Amazing Grace of the Master

Grace

By Ulla Bernholdt

In a month, I will be attending Mohanji’s Acharya training program in Serbia. This is a milestone for me, and I find it to be a good opportunity to look back on the year that has gone by in Mohanji’s Consciousness. Yes indeed, can you believe that just a year ago I had barely even heard of Mohanji!

I think it is important to keep track of our experiences, for the sake of remembering the grace of the Masters that made the journey possible, if we ever come to doubt how blessed we are.

Ulla 3

Like so many others who have met Mohanji in dreams, I am no exception. Before I met him, or consciously connected to Mohanji, I had a dream in which he appeared: We were seated outside in a garden, on a bench. Mohanji sat in the middle, a blond woman and I sat on either side of him. I leaned my head on his shoulder. The atmosphere was very loving and serene.

When I woke up, I was quite shocked. – It was a fact that I, in the dream leaned my head on his shoulder. To me, this suggests an act and a disposition of total surrender. – So, when I awoke, my mind went “Wait a minute, what is going on? I don’t know this man at all. I have never met him. How could I possibly surrender to him? Who is he by the way? What does all this mean?”

There was a difference of approach to Mohanji in my waking state and my dreams. In my dream, I had no problem with doubt or resistance. Mohanji works on subtle levels which are unknown to us.

In another testimony, I have told how Mohanji appeared to my inner eye in a temple high in the Swiss Alps, and how this made me want to go and meet him physically.

I went on the Himalayan retreat in Rishikesh, where I met Mohanji for the first time. Initially, I was quite skeptical towards him and the whole process that he offered. How do you know if a teacher is genuine? He suggests that we find out ourselves instead of listening to the opinions of others.

Ulla 2

I had much resistance towards guided meditations, Conscious Walking and Kriya. – No, this path I thought, was not for me!

But then, at a Satsang at the end of the program, I felt a big shift in consciousness. Thoughts disappeared. All of a sudden there were no memories to identify with. What was left was just empty space, awareness and a deep knowing that no matter what life or even death will bring, I will remain the same, nothing can affect me, I am eternal. Looking at Mohanji, there was no difference between us, not even a relationship between two separate beings existed.

Consciousness

I was in a state of silent bliss which lasted a little less than a week. – Mohanji tells us, that if a state is not permanent, it does not belong to us. It was an experience, and like all other experiences, it did not last. But this was a life-changing one, and it leads me to conviction, trust and faith in the path and the Master.

This state of induced samadhi has nothing really to do with me, but everything to do with Mohanji, it shows the stature of our Master, where he is capable of leading you. Now I do not doubt that He is connected to the Source, that He is one with the Source. He is Shiva or Consciousness itself. This is His Divine gift and revelation. It is a priceless gift, given free to everyone. Out of unconditional love and compassion, he gives himself fully.

Just think about it; that moment in time I did not consider to become a follower of Mohanji, on the contrary, I was rather skeptical, but still, this gift was given to me freely, a newcomer and a mere beginner. What an amazing Grace to receive! Again, this tells me about his stature, that there is no limitation to His love. All we need to do is to be open and in a disposition of surrender for the Grace to flow. Where that Grace will lead us, we have no idea.

No need to say that this event has had a major impact on me. Mohanji cleared so much suffering and agony in me. Since I connected with him, a lot of fear and negativity has gone. In fact, before I met Mohanji, I felt so negative, I didn’t care much if I lived or died, it all seemed such a waste of time.

mohanji-liberation

That has certainly changed. Awareness, self-acceptance and a strong sense of purpose have taken over my life. Through this, I was able to do some major life changes and find the courage to end abusive relationships, so that I was able to focus on positivity only. People keep telling me they noticed how much I have changed, and for the better, so it is very obvious to see even from the outside.

This I could never have done myself through any act or self-effort. Throughout the years, I have tried several therapies, healing modalities and spiritual paths, but none of them were able to clear the inherent negativity in me.

awareness

I have encountered immense love and support from other devotees in the M Family, who have treated me like their own. For months, I would go and meet Subhashree from London while she was working in Copenhagen. Being a pure instrument of Mohanji, she supported me in a selfless way, mentoring and helping me set up meditations in Denmark. She, her family and other devotees in the UK and India have kindly supported me in all kinds of ways, giving me job opportunities and opening up their homes for me to stay, without knowing me, trusting in me, only by the grace of Mohanji.

These are the blessings that are so obvious to me. I can see and feel their transforming effects every day. But the blessings that we are oblivious to might be even greater. What do we know in the end? Nothing! Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I was able to surrender fully to our Master. I pray to him that I will be able to do that by his amazing Grace.

No Pain, No Gain

mohanji

By Sathya Shivakumar

July 12, 2017 was “Sankatahara chaturthi”, a special day for Lord Ganesha. I had prepared steamed modaks as an offering for the God that day. My son, who had returned from school, asked for some fried modaks as well. It is an elaborate process to prepare them and as the next day was his birthday, I did not want to disappoint him and made that as well.

My son and I have our birthdays exactly a week apart. A few days preceding my birthday, I started experiencing burning sensations in my body. It started with the feet and then slowly felt them in my palms also. One fine morning, I was drawing a simple rangoli at the pooja room entrance. I usually draw a floral pattern but I was surprised to see that I had drawn feet that day. In India, we have the practice of decorating the floor with the pattern of Krishna’s feet on Janmashtami day but that was still a month away. Why had I drawn the feet, I wondered.

On my birthday,  my sister made a surprise visit to Bangalore. We went on our usual weekend drive to see the progress of our new house that was under construction. On the way back, we exited from a different gate than we usually do. I noticed a board and as it was in Kannada (the local language), I asked my husband, Shiva, to read out what was on it. He said, “Sri Chaitanya Paduka Mandira.”

I connected it to Brahma Chaitanya Maharaj but wanted to find out what it actually was, so I asked Shiva to take us there.  When we got there, Shiva and Radha stayed back in the car as I stepped out. I saw a few dogs and told Shiva, “One of those dogs is staring at me. Don’t want to get bitten on my birthday! ” He said, “Nothing will happen. It is all in your mind! Just go.”

As I entered the temple, I  saw that the main door was closed. So I walked up to the ‘sthala vriksham’ and offered my humble prostrations and birthday prayer. I knew the main tree in a temple’s premises houses the consciousness of divinity but did not at that point in time know that it was an Audumbar (fig) tree. The watchman told us that it would open in an hour’s time but that seemed like a long wait for the others. So I left with the desire to come to the temple another day.

A couple of days later when we went back to supervise the construction, I asked Shiva to take me to the temple again as it is just a few minutes from our new house. We went inside this time and had the place to ourselves as there was no one in there at the time. It was such a unique shrine. We quietly walked up to the second floor that houses the padukas of several masters along with their pictures. I did not recognize some of them. My husband patiently read out the nameplate in Kannada and I bowed to each one. I felt some energy going up my body and prayed that I should be healed soon as the lingering sensation in my legs continued to bother me.

I had initially consulted a general physician for the burning sensation and he diagnosed it as a Vitamin B12 deficiency. But the supplements were not helping much. While my haemogram results showed improvement, the burning now seemed as if it had reached the head. Some days,  instead of heat, I felt that my head was feeling like ice.

I wanted to explore other solutions to my problem and started yoga classes regularly. When I explained what I was going through physically, the senior yoga teacher could not comprehend the problem. She told the lady next to her, “These days people get strange problems!” She was kind and empathetic but could not understand my situation. Therefore, while I continued the yoga sessions, I did not wait to explain the other sensations such as numbness, pricking, etc. that I was going through.

I, myself, was surprised by the strange sensations that I was experiencing. It was because, it was not all pain, all the time. Occasionally, I had blissful raindrop sensations. It was as though something was constantly trickling in my head. Every morning, even as I stepped down from the bed, I would experience a pull going from my foot to the top of my head. I would have mild pain during yoga or while in the pooja room but would start increasing through the day. I had to learn to word all that I was experiencing to explain to the doctor. The symptoms brought all guesses ranging from diabetes to thyroid issues and these were eliminated with tests.

Even as I was physically undergoing some struggles, I also had beautiful dreams. Some of them felt so real. The dreams augured something beautiful would unfold. Whenever my fears reached their peak, signs of assurance kept flowing in and calmed me down. I always meditated on two lines of a Tamil verse “Anju Mugam thondrin Aarumugam thondrum” which means “When you fear, the six-faced Lord appears!” There is another explanation to this verse that my father told me – “When the five-faced Lord Shiva appears, Lord Skanda appears.” (Anju also means five in Tamil)

In October, my music teacher organized a programme at her house during the Navarathri festival. Throughout the programme, I felt heavy pressure on my eyes and made up my mind to consult a neurologist. After returning home, I called my father and sought his advice. He asked me not to worry and that he would do an “Anga-pradakshinam” at Tiruchendur to help me tide over the crisis. I thanked him and also mentioned to him that I would consult a neurologist as well.

The neurologist diagnosed it to be a nutritional deficiency. Although the heating and cooling sensations could not be explained, he gave me some medicines to subside the pain. I did not discuss the problem with anyone except Shiva and my parents. I felt that it was a wasted effort. If a senior yoga teacher and a neurologist could not understand it, I was pretty sure that my sharing this with others would only invite more flippant responses than solutions. With the help of guru google, I had narrowed it down to one of two things – If it is bad, it is some neuro problem and if it is good, it is related to the Kundalini experience.

Shiva cheered me and said, “If your thinking is positive, only good things will happen. Maybe your chakras are opening!” I felt as though he was brushing aside my problem. Although he was being his usual self, he did not really understand what I was physically going through. It had gone to the extent that when he entered the house he would lift his headphones and ask, “Hot or cold?” If I said, “Cold”, he interpreted this as being in a good mood and would talk. Otherwise, he would place them back on and take his calls.  It made me realize that when there is an internal problem one is going through, which is not visible to the naked eye, however understanding people are, none can perceive the actual problem or the intensity of it. No matter how empathetic or compassionate they are, they can only help to an extent. Beyond that one has to journey alone to find the answers.

Speaking of journeys, we went to Chennai that year to celebrate the last three days of Navarathri with my parents. On the way, we reminisced about our fabulous and memorable trip to Kathirgamam (Kataragama) which has a fascinating back story and I went into a reverie…

About 65 km from Chennai, there is a place called Tirukallil which has the ancient Sivanandeswarar temple where one of the first and foremost Saivite saints Tirugnanasambandar sang in praise of the Lord and as such it holds a special place in Tamil history. The main priest of this temple, Arumugam gurukkal was 107 years old. He had great love for the temple and the deity was his life. As the gurukkal had got on with age, he had requested my father to assist him with performing abishekams on special days. He was a great inspiration to me because I used to be amazed by his love for God. He would come all the way to attend social functions in Chennai so he could mobilize funds for the sustenance of the temple’s festivals.

The visit in July 2016, was extra special because it was the “Pre-Kailash Pradosham” as my father used to call it. My father was booked to go on the Kailash parikrama with Mohanji. I did not know who Mohanji was at the time. All that we knew was my dad had met a Master and was keenly looking forward to his upcoming trip. Chennaiites rarely have a stock of winter clothing because of the climate. So I bought some jackets and travel items that would be needed for such a trip. On that day, the abishekam was splendid. I really opened out in the serene atmosphere that surrounds the temple and with no inhibitions whatsoever, sang with gay abandon, assured that the Lord was enjoying my rendition.

After a really fulfilling visit, I headed back to Bangalore the next day. I was on the way home from the railway station when my dad called me and said with equanimity – “I am not eligible for parikrama according to the new Chinese rules. I am not doing Kailash this time. It was a reminder to me that God has his own plans.

My father had given me the book “Muruga, the embodiment of beauty and valour!” In the book, it is mentioned that Kathirgamam (in present-day Sri Lanka) is referred to as the “Dakshina Kailash” or the Kailash of the south. Kathirgamam is in the same longitude as Kailash and a pilgrimage there is equivalent to a pilgrimage to Kailash. Almost a year later, on one of our weekend visits to Chennai for the panguni uthiram celebrations at home, the topic of a trip to Kathirgamam came up, and Shiva said that it would be his birthday treat to my father. As things turned out in the course of that discussion, we ended up with an unplanned and spontaneous booking to go to Kathirgamam as a family!!  It was a big group with my parents, mother-in-law, children and two nieces!!

The trip was filled with fascinating and myriad experiences. We landed in Colombo and immediately left for Galle, where we stayed overnight. Galle is a beautiful beach town. We spent time walking around the scenic town with natural rocks, gardens and Buddhist shrines overlooking the beach. After a good night’s rest, we left for Kathirgamam the next morning. It was a long but scenic journey by road and we took in all the experiences we had along the way, soaking in the stories of Murugan’s exploits that my father shared with us in his inimitable way.

Kathir means Light. Kamam means Love. The etymology also says that Kamam came from “gramam” meaning village and the place was called Kathirgamam by the Lankans to indicate that it was “The village where Lord Muruga was standing as Light”.

Unlike in India where one gets to see the deity in the sanctum sanctorum of the temples, in Sri Lankan tradition (in our experience, this is in Murugan Shrines only), the temple sanctum is covered by curtains that act as a “veil” to the deity inside. The prayers are offered inside where only the main priests are allowed and for the general public, the aaratis are performed to the pictures of the God, on the curtain – considered equally powerful.  It is the same in Kathirgamam as well. We can observe the image of Lord Muruga on the beautiful curtains. During the “mangala aarati”, the rhythm of the temple bells eas so powerful that it transported us to a different plane. One can really feel the energy in the air. The two snake-like bronze images also captured our attention. Being in the presence of Kathirgamam Murugan on our wedding anniversary was such a blessing and not something that can happen because of human planning.

The next day I had wanted to have a second darshan. However, Shiva had booked for the “Yala Safari” for the kids and wanted me to go with him and the kids.

Murugan with Vel
Murugan showing the way with his Vel as the leading light

I had read that Lord Muruga appeared in mysterious ways to the pilgrims who had taken the forest route in the past when it was still a dense jungle, and travel to Kathirgamam was possible only through the forests which were dotted by wild animals. The safari was interesting and the kids had a great time. We saw peacocks, pigs, deer, elephants, and even a leopard but what I deeply connected to was the strutting rooster (Seval in Tamil) that passed in front of our jeep and then disappeared into the bushes to our right, just as our safari was coming to a close. What are the chances that you will see a rooster in a forest safari?

rooster
Rooster (Seval)

“How cute was that Seval?” I asked my husband..as I broke out of my reverie!! The radio in the car was playing and just then, I heard the sound of a rooster crowing on the radio!!

Was I imagining all this? I wasn’t. It was actually the rooster crowing sound as part of a song that followed after. We were on the outskirts of Chennai and as I shook my head in disbelief, we saw a big billboard that read “Tamil Kadavul Murugan – Coming soon ‘STARTING OCT-2ND’. We rarely watch TV programs but a serial on Murugan seemed interesting.

My thoughts shifted again to the physical sensations and pain and just then, I saw another sign – in bright bold letters on an auto that read

Message

This message hit home deeply. Was all my pain going to result in some gain? What life-transforming outcome was I being led to through this serious examination of my physical and mental faculties?

On one of the days during the visit, I went to my uncle’s house. As we were talking, the sensations were back. When he asked me “How are you feeling?”, I replied “I am okay!” despite the discomfort. The sensations were overwhelming but my face did not reveal it as I had by now made up my mind that there are certain things in life that we have to face individually.

Soon as we returned home, I left for the Mylapore Kapaleeswar temple with my father. This temple premises also has a shrine for Murugan. The few minutes that I sat in the inner premises of the Murugan Shrine, I did not experience any pain or discomfort!! No sensations whatsoever!! I was feeling normal. But that did not last long. Once I left the shrine, things were the same again. We returned to Bangalore and I continued my routine and some assuring signs were constantly coming through.

Around this time, there was a Shirdi Baba temple inauguration at Sriperambudur by Mohanji which my parents and sister went for. This was also the time, we were asking my parents to move to Bangalore along with Radha and they had finally decided to make the move. When my mother met Mohanji at the temple, she sought his blessings and said “Mohanji, we are moving to Bangalore shortly”.  He responded enthusiastically “I am also coming there!”

Parents
My parents with Mohanji

I still did not know who Mohanji was but as my father was connected to him, out of curiosity, I had started reading the Atmananda blogs online. After my parents moved to Bangalore, I got the opportunity to visit him at the Boulevard Retreat for the first time in March, 2018.

When I went to his house and got the opportunity to speak to him, I said to him:

“I connect to you through the Atmananda blogs, but I haven’t taken your permission.”

His answer was succinct.

“It is like Prana (vital breath). Do you take permission to take Prana?”

The second time I got to meet him was on my father’s birthday in April that year. My father told me “I have prayed for you at Tiruchendur. We don’t have to trouble Mohanji about it!” I didn’t bring up the topic as discussed with him but at one point when there was a pause in the discussions, my mother prodded me from the back to share it with Mohanji.

Mohanji looked in my direction and asked “What?”

I started, “I experience rain drop sensation.”

He told me something that I had been waiting to hear for a long time.

“It is a good thing!”

The word, “good” brought so much mental relief.

“It is Ma Kundalini. Welcome her. Accept her!”, he continued and then added “You know Ida Pingala? (he knew that I knew all that!) It is like Alakananda and Bagirathi coming together.”

I replied, “The heating is too much!”

“Do Suryanamaskar and vertical breathing. Reduce your medicines!”

I knelt to take his blessings. He placed his thumb on my forehead and blessed me. (Now I know that I received Shaktipat but didn’t then).

With folded hands and connecting to my family deity, I received it. On our return, my anxious mother asked me if I felt something. I said, “Nothing!”

However, the next morning as I woke up and got out from the bed I felt the difference!! That strange pull that had been my unseen companion for the previous 10 months was gone! Every step I took, I felt the difference.  I conveyed this to my doctor that very day! I started to reduce the dosage and the heating also considerably reduced, and I finally stopped medicines completely in October. Life has flown by and now I only have “filtered” sensations once in a while.

With the blessings of Mohanji, I have been able to take up the Acharya training too which is another fascinating story for next time, on how Grace carries us forward!

Today, on my birthday when I think of why I drew the feet that day when I started having the sensations, I am sure I know the answer….

The truth of His presence without presence

one with god

On this auspicious day of Guru Poornima, Mahesh shares with us a beautiful experience which yet again confirmed Mohanji’s presence in the Datta Tapovan ashram in Canada, although He was physically thousands of miles away.

The truth of His presence without presence

By Mahesh Bhalerao, Canada

The Datta Tapovan ashram was glowing. Mohanji was coming!  We were filled with so much joy. We did have our share of nervousness, but that nervousness was good, trying to keep everything perfect and in order for Mohanji’s arrival.

Tapovan Canada

Before Mohanji came, so many divine beings were making their presence felt too. One such unforgettable incident was when we felt Kamadhenu’s presence, though at that point we mistook it for cow dung smell!

Well, finally Mohanji came. We felt as if the brightness and warmth of the sun were appearing after a long, cold and dark, winter night. Yes, Mohanji filled whole the ashram with uncontainable and unlimited joy. Divine love flourished in every heart. 15 magical days filled with divinity. The sun rose, the sun set. But we remained awake in Mohanji’s Consciousness, in His love, 24/7.

Mahesh

Then the dreadful day came. It was time for Mohanji to go back. Other devotees in other parts of the world were waiting, His mission continues, the Avadhoota’s journey continues.

But how can my heart understand?  Greedy? Sadly, Yes. The heart didn’t want to bear the separation. The Master of my heart, Mohanji knew everything. Nothing is hidden from Him. He hears the cry coming out of each heart-beat.

He told me,

“Bhalerao, when I leave from here, don’t think that I am gone. Only my body will be gone. I will be here in the ashram, always.”

He left. I kept holding on to my faith, Mohanji is here, sitting on this chair, walking in this room, sleeping on this bed. I felt Mohanji continuing to be here with us.

Mohanji in Canada

Every morning and evening I kept doing the aarati, cleaning His room, making His bed, exactly how I used to do when He was here physically. That day, I continued the evening ritual.

In the evening when I went to the laundry room to do some laundry, suddenly I could smell the strong fragrance of Mohanji’s perfume. It has been more than a week since Mohanji had left; none of His clothes was in the laundry. In a room which normally smells of washing powder or bleach, getting the strong perfume smell of Mohanji was a clear indication that Mohanji was here, right next to me.

Then later, after finishing Sai Baba’s aarati, I went upstairs to Mohanji’s room, lit the lamp, made His bed and did pranaam at the chair where He used to sit while staying at the ashram, exactly how I used to do earlier.

canada pic

Just when I touched my head on the floor, Mohanji appeared! Yes, Mohanji appeared. I could clearly see Him, wearing His blue tank top and orange dhoti, sitting on the chair and smiling at me.

I burst out crying like a child. I cried and cried. I was crying not because I was missing Him. I was crying because He was proving to silly me that He was still here, very much here, even though physically He was thousands of miles away.

One thing is for sure, whatever Mohanji says, He always keeps His promises. He told me that He will be here in the ashram, and He proved this to me not just once but many times. And not just to me, even to others. You have already read Sanjay bhai’s story of how he saw Mohanji’s foot impression on the feet cushion.

positivity

His leelas are incomprehensible, unimaginable but magical. His love is truly unconditional and His compassion is beyond this world. How can I express my gratitude to you Mohanji, for your love? I can only bow my head down with complete surrender and remain at your feet always and forever.

The art of seeing rainbows at night

By Urav and Sandra Sankar

It’s like being aboard a rocket cruiser named ‘Master of the Universe’, where having no expectations is the only thing that’s going to take you to warp speed and inter-dimensional travel.

In meditation, we are able to leave this so-called reality and race into the so-called unknown. In dance, we lose our mind amidst cosmic spirals of ecstatic bliss. In walking, we connect to the integral nature of the Self, to the heartbeat of Shakti Maa. We are blessed with so many gifts to gather on this bountiful path of liberation, making life lighter, brighter and happier.

In this world, the big thing is ‘fearlessness’. A picture of a typical Amazon Warrior pops into my head. No. That’s too limiting. Let’s just say that this feels more like being a fearless Warrior of Love and Light. In this beautiful life, that Light is Mohanji. Check that. The darkness is all Mohanji too. In the absence of duality, we find Mohanji. Everything is Mohanji.

So, there is nothing to be scared of, right? Our beloved Parabrahma says ‘I am with you. Keep walking.’ Yes, we also run, jump, swoop, dive and leap with carefree abandon. In doing so we acclimatise to fateful and fearless truths that awareness brings to the table. We begin to flow through the tests and curves that life deals out.

This is all our beloved Mohanji’s grace. Nothing can stop karma. Only beloved Mohanji’s grace can. Contemplate on the waves of karmic providence that created the circumstances that brought us here. To this point. This timeline. To exactly this time-space continuum. Frankly, this feels very much like surfing. Low waves, high waves, sometimes outright tsunamis!

No worry when our beloved Mohanji is here. The great sobering lesson that grows on you is complete humility. Every breath becomes thank you, thank you, thank you, beloved Mohanji. Humbled gratitude to You for all the ‘saves’ not just in this life but all lives.

Guru’s light is like an exquisite prism of conscious revelation. Such is the grace of a timely breath swooping ‘reveal’ of the Absolute by Mother Divine. Our Mohanji’s canvas of innumerable colours illuminates every facet of our lives.

A few nights ago, our young son saw the beautiful outline of a form draped in hues of different rays of light, standing next to his bed. The colours that dominated the spectrum were red, yellow and blue. The astral form of our beloved Parabrahma also had three dark stripes of red, yellow and blue across the forehead and both feet.

This was part of the long-distance Mai-Tri Method healing. The healer was in a different timeline in another part of the world. What an exquisite truth! Consciousness has no distance. Call Mohanji. He comes. Think of Mohanji. He is there! Always present!

Think of our mind like a switch that goes off and on. When we switch off our mind, we experience the glory of Mohanji in 360 degrees. Children do that naturally. A few days later, our son caught sight of a rainbow and said that was exactly what he saw that night.

Unity in Oneness

By Dragana Tešanović

bosnian pyramids
A view of the Bosnian Pyramids

During the last several days of the program on the Bosnian Pyramids in 2019, I was feeling quite confused. Everything was so overwhelming for me as it seemed that there were so many people with whom I did not interact. Until now I did not understand that Mohanji brings all of His people (by saying His people, I mean people who are connected to His consciousness) with Him no matter where and how distant they are physically. As I realized this, I remembered several other occasions when He was on some pilgrimage and I had a feeling that I was there with Him.

I want to share one such experience. I have to start from the very beginning as His ways are very mysterious. It was the year 2018. In January I had to pass my academic writing exam. There were several themes to write about. I chose to write about a theme with the title, ‘What would I change if I had a time machine?’ Naturally, I wrote that I am proud of everything that happened in my past and if it did not happen, I would not be here now. I also wrote that if I had a time machine, I would like to return to my mother`s womb, because that is the only place where I would feel secure and carefree. This is because I do not feel as secure now as I should be. The only thing I know is that I wrote the essay from the bottom of my heart without any expectations.

virgin mary
Virgin Mary – Ukraine

Two months later, I received the call to go and visit the greatest sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary (Shakti manifestation) in Ukraine, which was very affordable for me at that time. At the very same time, Mohanji was on a pilgrimage to Machu Picchu (Shakti place). What makes this place in Ukraine so powerful is the spring from which water started flowing when Mother Mary descended from the heights and touched the stone with her feet.

Besides this, the most interesting thing is that there is a cave in which a saint called Jov spent 20-30 years in silence, and guess what – the cave is in the shape of a womb, and it can hold only up to 4 people at one time. It is a place which the orthodox Christians usurped as their own. In this cave, I witnessed that beyond duality there is only oneness. So the trip was heavy.

There was only one person who knew me on the bus, and after several hours I started feeling the pressure of odd looks that I received. I was looked upon strangely as I did yoga, meditated, so on and so forth. Some of them approached me with the speech that these things I was doing were not good…blah, blah. So my mind started receiving the info about how my path was wrong. It was not easy for me to stay firm and stable around 60 other souls looking upon me like a possessed person, hahaha.

Mohanji

I just held Mohanji`s hand and was calling out to Him during the entire trip. I said to myself, “Ok, this is just one of His leelas. I know that this path is my life and I will wait for the confirmation as a witness.”

I visited a few other places of high energy before I entered the cave on the last day. People shared some stories that the cave would let you in and out if you are not possessed or something like that, and it won’t let you go out if you have great sins. Terrifying stories. I have to be honest, for a moment I was a bit frightened.

What happened next was mind-blowing! Even though there was a queue in front of the cave, when it was my turn to enter, I somehow ended up alone there. So there was only one thought with which I entered the cave, but I received much more. The thought was, “Please, let this path be the one for me.”

After several seconds, Saint Jov, whose presence one can tangibly feel inside this cave, became one with Mohanji and showed me that separation only exists within the mind. To my surprise, my awareness also lifted beyond the dual mind and I felt like I was one with them. I felt everything around me was part of me at that moment. Then I realized that my every heartbeat radiates a certain vibration, and if my heart radiates purity, the same thing will show outside (as within, so without) and vice versa. That realization gave me the strength to follow my path, the path of pathlessness. The path of unconditional love, non-violence, kindness, compassion, goodness, and companionship.

I am so grateful to Mohanji, without whom all of this would be impossible to realize. Before Mohanji, every breath of mine was a struggle. Now He empowers me to live my life purposefully and adds more meaning to it. And yes, when He says that He is with us, He really is. The only difference is in the mind. We think from the mind that the connection is lost. But Mohanji dwells within our hearts.

Thank you Mohanji. I surrender everything to you. I love you, through each and everyone as per my capacity.

JAI MOHANJI!

Transformation by divine guidance

Mohanji_on_Positivity

Salutations to my Guru, who is an infinite ocean of compassion, grace, and bliss. Mohanji showers His grace 24×7 on everyone, everywhere. Mohanji has transformed us completely by His grace. Now, all the concepts, fears and stresses have vanished. He has taught me to flow through life and accept the person and situation as it is without complaining.

Earlier I wrote about how my son got decent marks in his 10th standard examination, in spite of having an accident. Even after the 10th standard, his attitude towards studies was casual. His present school knew about his carelessness. So the school didn’t want to give him admission to the 11th standard. But again, a miracle took place. By Mohanji’s grace, they agreed to give him admission. At the Parent-Teacher meetings, I was told again and again about the conduct of my son towards studies because he never completed his homework on time and he used to delay submitting his projects too. Annoyed by his pattern of indifference and carelessness, we scolded him and told him to be diligent and sincere.

That night, Mohanji appeared in his teacher’s dream. She has never met Mohanji. She told me how Mohanji came in a white kurta-pyjama and instructed her to take special care of my son. It was an early morning dream. We were left speechless by this dream. Our Mohanji deeply cares for each one of us around the clock.

We were getting complaints from the school regarding my son constantly. Every day we used to sit and explain to him. He got very few marks in his class test. Yet another night, we got so frustrated, we shouted at him. And later we started crying as there was no improvement in his class test score.

That night, Freedom meditation was published. We strongly felt it as a gift from Mohanji for children and their parents who were going through the same situation us. We hoped our son would benefit from it too. Mohanji is our ‘Sankat Mochan’ (name of Lord Hanumanji). Whenever we are gloomy, Mohanji reaches out to us either through a dream or in the form of a message. But the whole year passed and my son couldn’t clear his 11th standard.

In the report card of the 11th Standard (grade), it was written that he will be retained in the same class. I requested the Principal to give him a retest to help him clear the exams. Even after the retest, he was short of a few marks. Through Mohanji’s leela, from being retained in the same class, the report card was now changed to retest.

We went to many schools seeking admission, but no school was ready to take him. Again, I requested the Principal to write in the transfer certificate that my son should be promoted to the 12th class. The Principal agreed but it was suggested that retests should be conducted by the new school. We went to 14 schools, but they all said that the old school should do the retest. Now we were exhausted. The new session of the 12th class had already started since March and now it was the month of May. My son was not able to get admission and he was lagging behind by two months. Construction work was just completed at my place and this long search for admission into a school left us totally drained out.

My son was longing to meet Mohanji. It so happened that Mohanji was there at Dr. Wasir’s place. It was a golden opportunity for us and I thanked Dr. Wasir for contacting us. Mohanji said, “Your son was missing me badly. So I gave this thought to Doctor, to call you.” Mohanji is our Vighnaharta, another name for Lord Ganesha who removes obstacles. Our Avadhoota said, “10th was good and 12th will be good.” This sentence of Mohanji helped us sail smoothly in the middle of this turmoil.

Deep inside my heart, I had firm faith that my son will get admission into the 12th standard, sooner or later. After hopping from one school to the other, my son was still not able to get admission anywhere. So someone suggested to him, “Why don’t you repeat your 11th standard?”  But the boy was adamant on not repeating. To save his one year, we thought of changing the board (of studies to which a school is affiliated). My son was in a school that followed the Haryana state board pattern. We thought of shifting him from Haryana to some other state, or from CBSE to Haryana Board, or from science stream to Arts, but all in vain.

At last, by the divine leela of Mohanji, he got admission in a school which was hardly three kilometers from our house. My son’s attitude changed. He became sincere and polite. Mohanji has transformed my son totally. He’s a new person, always positive in all the aspects.
