“Being Mohanji”, the Flower with 108 Petals

few more

In May 2018, Testimonials team started a special drive of collecting devotees’ thoughts and expressions of how they conceive themselves as “Being Mohanji”. As everyone knows Mohanji has various facets, expressions and subtlety and everyone perceives Him differently.

This drive was not about what devotees think of Mohanji, rather what they think of themselves, if they were Mohanji. In a way, this would show which facet of Mohanji they connect to and which is the characteristic that they reflect on.

We thought of running this drive of publishing devotees’ expressions one a day every day for a month. However, this became so popular that devotees from various locations started sending their expressions. Today, at the end of August, we have reached exactly 108th expression.

We felt we would offer this flower with 108 petals at the lotus feet of Mohanji – a tiny offering to show what devotees are reflecting inspired by Him and being merged in His consciousness.

Dear Mohanji, our deep gratitude to You for the ocean deep inspiration and continuous guidance in bringing out “a Mohanji” from each one’s heart.

If every devotee / follower of Mohanji displayed even 10% of what Mohanji truly is, this world will be the real heaven, where there is only unconditional love and synchronicity between all beings of Mother Earth!

We will not stop this drive with this one flower with 108 petals. We will keep continuing creating more flowers. Feel free to write yours at testimonials@mohanji.org.
In the meantime, please enjoy the fragrance of this sacred flower with all its 108 soft and sweet petals.

Lord Dattatreya.jpg
Lord Dattatreya

Introduction

Dattatreya was looking for a guru, but could not find one

No one could take a role as an accomplished God’s son

Then he felt an impulse in his heart, heard a voice at last

“First you have to develop aspiration and faith steadfast

When you develop that, you will not feel separate from guru

And will learn from everyone and everything what is true

The knowledge of the Self will be delivered without asking”

So he started paying attention along the way, self-realising

1.       Earth

Earth image - 24 gurus of Lord Dattatreya - poem by Biljana Vozarevic

The Earth bears heat, cold, wind and rain with patience

A lot of dirt thrown on it with carelessness, negligence

It accepts people’s cruelty without exploding with anger

Like a mother observes, showing what she can forbear

It always revolves around its orbit regularly, endlessly

Creatures keep walking on her, feeding on her selfishly

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by watching mother Earth

These are divine attributes, he appreciated their worth

2.       Wind

Wind - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic.jpg

Wind is always in motion, changes direction, moves

Like life itself which never stagnates, dirt removes

At the same time it cools down places overheated

It gives beautiful fragrance while staying unaffected

It passes through everything and everyone, like Truth

Even changes the world like a gale or heals it like ruth

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by watching restless wind

These are divine attributes, he learnt them and grinned

3.       Sky

Sky - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic.jpg

Sky is endless and large, holding many worlds in its grip

It is resourceful, but without ego, a feeling of ownership

It is vast and spacious without being proud of its measure

It remains unaffected and serene beyond pain or pleasure

It experiences sunlight and various kinds of clouds, storms

Yet it remains limitless, never affected by thunderstorms

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by watching the huge skies

These are divine attributes, the sky above opened his eyes

4.       Water

Water - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic.jpg

Water cleanses and purifies everyone, yet it remains plain

It gives coolness to everyone, nourishes plants for their gain

In spite of being the son of the sea, it goes to everyone’s door

Sacrifices itself for the benefit of others, keeps giving more

It serves without pride or discrimination and gives life to all

It is transparent to everyone and remains steady without fall

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by only watching the water flow

These are divine attributes, water provided him a lot to know

 5.       Fire

Fire - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic.jpg

Fire is the best purifier – purifies, yet remains clean like before

Its energy melts and shapes things, extracts gold from its ore

What it comes in contact with, the heat of knowledge reforms

It teaches austerity, letting go of anger, hatred, negative forms

It burns things into ashes, disintegrates transient embodiments

It does not store anything, cannot be suppressed by treatments

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by only watching the fire burning

These are divine attributes, fire gave him important learning

6.       Moon

Moon 2- 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic.jpg

The Moon waxes and wanes, however, it remains unaffected

There are changes in the body but the soul remains unchanged

Like a soul is not affected by pain, illness, changes or older age

So birth, death, rebirth, cycle of karma should not affect a sage

The Moon reflects the light of the Sun without having it itself

The same way the soul of human reflects the eternal, real Self

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by only watching the Moon shine

These are divine attributes, the Moon gave him a lesson divine

7.       Sun

Sun- 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

Every single day at its time the Sun rises and sets, performs its duty

The Sun has its own light and radiates it on all with absolute beauty

It is one and undivided, yet reflects in multiple bodies of creatings

The same way Consciousness is one, reflected in individual beings

The Sun makes water evaporate, gives it back fully detached

Performs daily task with commitment without being attached

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by only watching the Sun’s glory

These are divine attributes he discerned from the Sun’s story

 8.       Pigeon

Pigeon - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

Pigeon parents left their small fledgelings, the food to get

In the meanwhile a hunter came, trapped them into a net

Parents came back, saw the sight, in agony jumped as well

The bird-catcher took full catch happier than he could tell

Foolish couple was attached, possessive beyond measure

Could not stand personal loss, bound to transient treasure

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by only watching the pigeon

Pigeon taught him these traps of the spiritual destruction

 9.       Python

Python 2- 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

A python does not chase its prey, it lies in lurch and waits

It devours whatever comes its way, regardless of its taste

It has no preferences about quantity, taste, eats what it got

Ignoring whether it’s sufficient to appease its hunger or not

It is content with what it has while making the most of it

Fearlessly having faith in destiny, maintaining a high spirit

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by only watching the python

These are divine attributes from a python he has drawn

 10.   Bumblebee

Bumblebee - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya

A bumblebee goes from flower to flower collecting food

It carefully chooses and doesn’t hurt a flower or intrude

If it stays in the sunflower which closes during the sunset

It gets trapped, dies, that’s what the greedy ones beget

It goes to the source of nectar directly, filters the useful

It does not overconsume but lives in harmony colourful

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by watching the bumblebee

These are divine attributes it taught him to set him free

 11.   Beekeeper

Beekeeper removing frame from beehive in field full of flowers
Beekeeper removing frame from beehive in field full of flowers

A bee spends time collecting pollen, making honey reserve

It stores the honey for later use, which it cannot preserve

A beekeper takes it away from a bee who wasted its time

It doesn’t pay to pile up material treasure during a lifetime

Better to spend time in acquiring inner treasure of the spirit

As neither body nor material wealth lasts for desired merit

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by watching the beekeeper

These are divine attributes he learnt as a spiritual seeker

12.   Hawk

Hawk - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

A bird of prey caught a rat and carried it along the way

Other birds noticed it and surged to seize its rat-prey

They attacked the hawk, pecked it, knocked its head

In order to protect its prey it almost plummeted dead

Then the hawk let go of the rat, feeling suddenly free

The birds rushed after the rat, hawk realised how to be

Dattatreya learnt to conquer craving for worldly things

These are divine attributes he learnt from hawk beings

13.   Ocean

Ocean - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

An ocean receives water from numerous various rivers,

Yet it remains the same, knows its depths without shivers

Changeable at the surface, but deep and undisturbed within

Its equipoise remains whether floods or droughts have been

Unconquerable, it cannot be troubled by anything splendid

Unfathomable, its wisdom cannot be easily comprehended

Dattatreya learnt this lesson by only watching the ocean

These are divine attributes, to be without any commotion

 14.   Moth

Moth 2 - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

A moth was tempted by fire, attracted by its beautiful glow

Ran to the flame in the lamp but the outcome it didn’t know

It left its body scorched and charred, deceived by its senses,

Remaining in the vicious cycle of birth, death and pretenses

On the other hand, when a wise man notices fire of wisdom,

He leaps in it with single-minded determination, burns illusion

Dattatreya learnt from moth to control desires as they bind

Not to give much importance to the perishables which blind

 15.   Elephant

Elephant - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

People raised a stuffed dummy cow-elephant in the forest

Attracted to the scent of a possible mate, ovecome by lust

An elephant fell into a pit, fettered by infatuation and rapt

Sensory gratification cost it freedom, it got entrapped

When one has a great passion for the highest truth, liberation

One shouldn’t be deluded by the traps of sensory gratification

Watching the elephant Dattatreya learnt this lesson very fast

He should put a ceiling to a sensual desire and beware of lust

16.   Deer

Deer - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya

Version I – Lure

A deer, as swift as the wind, could not be captured, trapped

Nimble and swift of foot, it was on guard, alert and escaped

A hunter realised it was interested in or distracted by music

Used its vulnerability, it got enchanted with melodious trick

The deer lost its life due to its weakness, cause it lost alertness

On spiritual path it is substantial to maintain one-pointedness

Dattatreya learnt this lesson of sensuous music from the deer

He should put a ceiling to a sensual desire and watch his ear

 Version II – Fear

A deer, as swift as the wind, could not be captured, trapped

Nimble and swift of foot, it was on guard, alert and escaped

A hunter realised it can be frightened by making a big noise

He beat the drums and terrified it, it failed to keep its poise

The deer lost its life due to its weakness, cause it lost alertness

On spiritual path it is substantial to maintain one-pointedness

Dattatreya learnt from the deer he should never have any fear

Nor be afraid of others’ noise or succumb to pressure severe

17.   Fish

Fish - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

A fish was lured by the bait, swallowed the hook and got caught

Due to desire for food it was deceived, to death it was brought

Satisfying its taste buds it stayed in the cycle of birth and death

If palate is conquered, all else is conquered, this lesson is wealth

As a fish never leaves water, so too one should stay in true Self

With being always immersed in it, never stop connecting oneself

Dattatreya learnt from the fish he should never greed the scraps

But put a ceiling to a sensual desire and beware of tongue traps

18.   Courtesan Pingala

Courtesan Pingala - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya

One day, she eagerly waited a client with lust and greed till late

He didn’t turn up, she was frustrated and angry at her awful fate

Disillusioned, in highest suffering, she turned awareness within

Found a source of eternal bliss, became an enlightened being

She realised she had suffered because of desire and expectation

Through repentance she attained blessedness and transformation

Dattatreya learnt from Pingala how passion turned within elevates

Instead of directing ardour to desires, directing it to Spirit liberates

 19.   Child

Child - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya

A child lives a life of delight, curiosity and innocence

It does not nurse anger, hatred, jealousy, grievance

It lives in the now, free from ego, worry, arrogance

Fully engrossed in the supreme joy due to ignorance

A sage is also happy, but due to self-transcendence

Trusting the destiny, carefree, joyous from penance

Dattatreya learnt from a child to draw bliss from inside

Be light and full of celebration, beware of vanity, pride

20.   Maiden (unmarried girl)

Maiden - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

An unmarried girl had guests while her mum was away

She was to show hospitality with food during their stay

Her bangles were making noise while she was preparing

Embarrassed she removed them, only one was remaining

Bangles are like spiritual aspirants living in the same place

Among a lot of people there is chat, dispute or disturbance

Dattatreya learnt from maiden that he should not seek attention

Only in solitude can he make a single-minded effort for liberation

 21.   Snake

Snake - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

A snake willingly, without fear, leaves its old skin and moults

A sage casts off his old body as he does his worn out clothes

Constantly sheds past, old ideas, welcomes the fresh and new

Fearlessly sheds the body, releasing the spirit which overgrew

Instead of making a new home, a snake occupies the existing

Inhabits whatever hole comes, it’s neither vain nor attaching

Dattatreya learnt from a snake that he should live anywhere

Instead of spending life building his own house somewhere

 22.   Arrowsmith

Arrowsmith - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya

An arrowsmith was totally absorbed in moulding an arrow

He was so lost in his effort to make its tip sharp for the bow

That he did not notice the king’s procession passing nearby

He was so deeply engrossed, his concentration was so high

Like that single-minded, all-absorbing concentration

On the everlasting Supreme, eliminates all temptation

Dattatreya learnt this lesson from the arrowsmith’s routine

These are divine attributes, a secret in spiritual discipline

 23.   Spider

Spider 2 - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya - Poem by Biljana Vozarevic

A spider builds a beautiful web, destroys it and restarts again

He makes it from his heart, plays, enjoys and abandons it then

He swallows that very same web, never entangled, recreates

The same way Almighty creates, preserves and dissolves fates

An individual soul too bears body, mind matter to collaborate

At its birth it projects them out as constitution, to express fate

When leaving it withdraws the senses, mind, picks remainder

Dattatreya learnt this lesson from merely watching the spider

 24.   Caterpillar

Caterpillar - 24 Gurus of Lord Dattatreya

A special wasp catches a caterpillar and puts it in its hive

It stings it, lays its eggs inside and buzzes about to survive

The caterpillar listens to this wasp’s buzzing incessantly

Cannot think about anything else but its buzz consistently

Eventually it becomes a wasp itself, spreads its wings wide

Sees the world from a new perspective, the old view died

Dattatreya learnt from a caterpillar this lesson of constancy

Unintermitting devotion leads one to spiritual supremacy

This poem is surrendered at the lotus feet of Lord Datta and my Guru Brahmarishi Mohanji.

Keys of Faith

By Moushumi, UK

Experiences from UK Retreat 2018

20180813_102741

Our scriptures state that every incident is a passing cloud, bringing with it happiness or trials and tribulations. What helps us tide over the difficult aspects is the faith in the Supreme.  Our beloved Mohanji always takes care, gently pushing these dark clouds away with the least impact on us.

This is exactly what Moushumi, her daughter Esha and husband Prabhakar have shared in this testimonial where a seemingly large problem drifted away into oblivion by the grace of Mohanji!  A strong thread of faith and surrender weaves its way through the three different experiences in the same incident!

Moushumi’s Narration:

To start with, I would like to mention that if you surrender with faith to your GURU, then your Guru takes care of you.

Here is a lovely miracle from the recent London retreat, UK on 12th August 2018. This is an experience that we were blessed with as a family – my husband Prabhakar, my daughter Esha and I.

This beautiful day commenced with Deviji’s Yoga, followed by satvik vegan breakfast and then Satsang with Mohanji. After the Satsang, we went to our rooms for tea as directed by Mohanji.

I am with you

The above written quote by Mohanji, we actually experienced it that day.

Now, let me share what I experienced.

When we went into the room, I found the lights were on, my purse was somewhere else, but I did not give it a second thought and came out. Meanwhile, the family staying in the next room were talking to someone about a theft. Hearing this, I rushed back into the room and suddenly realised as to why the lights were on, the purse wasn’t in its proper place and things were in disarray.  I noticed that my mobile, the car key and the home keys were stolen. I spoke to Vijayji (the organiser) who was already talking to someone in the main hall where Mohanji was chatting with a few people. Vijayji made an announcement in the hall about the incident. Just then, my daughter walked in and came to know that not only my mobile, but also the car keys along with home keys were stolen from the room. She started crying, as she was worried that the thieves could drive to our home and do something to her six months old pet Hamster (OREO).

Esha_with_oreo

I consoled her, and my husband and I again headed back to our room.

When I opened the door of my room again, the vibrations in the room were different – one of calm and peace. I walked in and to my surprise found that both the keys were on the top of a small tub containing a moisturizer cream, the usual place for the keys to be in! Initially, it was confusing, as the table was exactly in front of the main door and the keys were lying there on the small tub – in direct view. As I was heading towards the hall, Mohanji was coming out of the hall and he asked me directly, “Did you find the keys?” I replied in the affirmative. (I did not understand why he asked me only about the keys). He asked, “What else is missing?” I replied, “Mobile and £5 or £10.” He said, “That’s ok, first go and tell Esha that you got the car keys; she is crying.” In fact, then Mohanji himself spoke to her and I stood there speechless for a few seconds, as the realisation of the situation hit me! If there is total faith in the Guru and complete surrender, anything is possible!.

Later on, as I put the pieces together, realisation dawned that when my daughter spoke to Mohanji about her hamster, he told her that he would do whatever he could! He kept up his promise. It wasnt difficult to comprehend that He kept His promise because first of all it was Esha’s request that too in the compassion for a helpless tiny being! We see Mohanji’s love for little children, the purest forms of divine as well as the helpless animals and other beings. If it meant to do something out of way to make Esha relax about her pet Oreo, so be it. He did what He needed to. It’s needless for us to worry about how did he do that, when he was physically in the hall amongst 40/50 people? Divine answer to innocent pure souls calls, are usually unexplainable!

The entire incident happened within a gap of few minutes – going to the room for the first time, finding things stolen, talking to Vijayji, and then returning to the room and finding my keys on a very small tub. It was surprising as I am a meticulous person and particular about placing things in its correct place. The question from Mohanji asking only about the keys was even more surprising. Mohanji’s reply to Esha about her pet hamster, “I shall do whatever I can”, says it all. It was indeed a miracle!

The day we met Mohanji in December 2016, Esha connected with him instantly. Every night before sleep, she likes to watch Mohanji’s videos. When I told Mohanji about this, he said that she is very much connected to him.

Such a blessing, having Mohanji in our lives!

Esha’s Narration

My mum and I went into our room at Gilwell Park and found the lights on in the room. I just suspected that dad left the lights on in the room, as he was the last one out. My mum was a bit more alarmed than I was. I used the bathroom and then went to play with some of my friends. Meanwhile, mum went into the room to get her phone.

My friend and I were playing in her room (which was right next door to ours), when my mum came in and said frantically, “Have you seen my phone!” We responded with a no and then, with a serious/worried expression on her face, she went to ask my dad. I followed her. When dad replied no, all three of us went back to our room. Mum showed us her purse which had all its zippers open, my books were open on the bed, my toy dog was under the pillow and my mum’s phone was gone. All of us looked everywhere for it but it wasn’t anywhere.

I carried on playing because mum said I could go and play. Soon, I started feeling very thirsty, so I went into the main hall to get a drink. I saw my mum and dad talking to someone. I went over and overheard my mum saying that the car and home keys were missing. Suddenly I felt very worried. If the thieves had the home keys, then they might be able to get into the house. I thought that if the thieves were smart enough to take the keys without anyone seeing them do it, they might be smart enough to find out where our house is. I was getting worried and I started to cry. If the thieves get into the house, who knows what they might do to my pet hamster!

Mum and Dad started comforting me, but I could tell they were worried as well. Suddenly my parents were called out of the hall, but I was still crying. Some women came over and asked questions like, “What happened”, and “What’s wrong!” I told them, and they said that things are going to be OK. Then, Aunty Subhasree came over and assured me not to worry, as my mum will get a new and better phone. But I told her about my hamster (called Oreo) being at home and the thieves might be able to get into the house. Then she told me “go and hug Mohanji. Everything will be alright.” Then she took me to Mohanji who was standing a few feet away. Aunty Subhasree explained to him that I am crying because my Hamsters are at risk, since we cannot get into the home as home keys are stolen! Mohanji hugged me and said that He will do what He can. His words made me feel relaxed and I cheered up a bit. I just knew that He would make sure nothing bad happens to Oreo. The next minute, my mum came in running saying, “I found the keys, I found the keys!” I was so gleeful, and I thanked Mohanji with all my heart. When we were walking back to the room, Mohanji came up to me and said, “Did you find the keys?” I replied to him saying yes and I said, “I am so happy. Thank You, Mohanji!” Mohanji smiled.

Prabhakar’s Narration

Here’s my husband Prabhakar’s write up of the miracle that he experienced:

I always tend to carry my laptop when I go on trips.  Also, as the retreat was to end on Tuesday and I was on leave from office, I had promised my project manager that I would take a call from the office for an hour on Monday. While packing, I ensured that I included the laptop among the items to be taken. There was no rush as we were leaving the house and somehow, I just did not feel the urge to carry the laptop with me and so left it behind. The theft happened on Sunday at the hotel & my laptop could have gone missing. More than the laptop, the precious non-backed up pictures & personal documents would have been lost!

During such programs like the retreat, I always make sure not to carry any electronic devices such as the mobile with me. I put the mobile in my pocket at break time to practise the bhajan that I was planning to sing in the evening (first time ever in life, I thought of singing & wanted to rehearse!). When I returned to the hall, I realised that the mobile was still in my pocket & Mohanji had arrived by then. The mind commanded to quickly rush and leave the mobile in the room. In spite of the prompting of the mind, I did not take any action and I still can’t remember why! Had I left the mobile in the room, it would have been stolen!

The Guru’s ways of working are beyond what the mind can comprehend. Firm faith & acceptance will take us to great heights in our individual journey is my learning from this incident.

Vijay Ramanaidoo’s Narration

This is a really amazing incident! While I was in the satsang hall during the retreat I saw three youths walking towards the side of the lodge where we were staying. Then about 10 minutes later I saw then running away at great speed. I thought at the time that it looked suspicious not realising that they were the ones who had broken in (subsequently confirmed by the children who had been playing near the exit). After the satsang ended and people headed to their rooms Moushumi approached me in a distressed state about the theft from the room listing all the missing items including car keys and house keys. Esha, her daughter was also in tears. They were especially worried about the keys wondering how they would get home and into their house. Esha was worried about her hamster at home. When Moushumi went back into the room after speaking to me, she came running out again saying that the burglars had returned the keys! I was wondering what kind of burglar it must have been to take money, mobile, house keys and car keys, plus take items from other rooms, then to return both sets of keys to her room without being seen! Even if they did return them, how could they remember that it was this exact room and how would they dare enter again! I initially thought that maybe she hadn’t seen the keys when she first went in after the burglary. However the keys were placed on top of a tub of cream on the table – so visible and very easy to see. There was no way that they were there before! Moushumi also said that she is so particular that she notices any small thing that is out of place, Prabhakar said the same thing to me. It seems that this was all a drama in order to demonstrate an act of grace and increase our faith. Plus to comfort a little girl worried about her hamster! Jai Mohanji 😊🙏💜

The Consciousness Connect

By Neelu (Mohana Bhakti Priya), India.

Mohanji_pure_consciousness.JPG

Connection to Mohanji’s consciousness is truly Being One with the divine. All Duality ends there. Every sincere seeker’s story, who have been connected to Mohanji in His consciousness, shows this every time. Such is the story as Neelu narrates through her sincere testimonial below.

When we are connected to Mohanji, physically or metaphysically, or even when he is around physically or non-physically, things just happen – big problems become laughable jokes. Life is as it flows. We are all one. – Devi Mohan

Neelu has shared her experiences that validate this into two very different situations. Read on and enjoy the beautiful shower of blessings on Neelu and her cousin Sameer!

Gurudev’s Grace takes him out of ICU

My cousin Sameer, was hospitalized in Hyderabad, last Saturday with high fever. (This young 25-year-old, lost his parents and little brother in a tragic road accident while returning from Shirdi ten years ago.) Doctors first diagnosed his condition as Dengue, owing to the rapid fall in his platelets. But later, the tests appeared positive for malaria and Jaundice too. His body temperature did not return to normal even after medication for 3 days. As soon as I came to know of this, I sent a message to Mohanji seeking his help. He immediately replied in spite of his busy schedule and advised us on some course of action for removal of his Karma. Throughout, Mohanji was with him (in astral form) helping Sameer recover. When I prayed to Mohanji before I went to bed and connected with his Consciousness, I asked him if Sameer would be ok. I received his reply that he was there beside Sameer. Last night, the situation had been very grim. But in one night, Mohanji changed the whole scenario.

Today, his body temperature has normalised, and further tests show that there are no traces of malaria, dengue, or jaundice. He has been shifted from the ICU to a regular room in the hospital and he will be discharged in just two days after observation.  What could have been a week’s ordeal was set right by Mohanji in just one night!

Such love and grace is possible only from Him. Thank you so much for everything, my Gurudev!

Neelu shares two more of her own experiences which show how our Guru hears and satisfies our innermost longing for his Grace and blessings. Connect to a living master through faith and surrender and He will always be with you!

Initiation to Consciousness Kriya

Before I write anything about my Consciousness Kriya (CK) initiation and the experiences related to the sacred elevating tool, I would like to offer my Koti Pranaams at the lotus feet of my Master, my everything, my everyone, my Praana, my Aatma, Shri Brahmarishi Mohanji, for bestowing me with his unlimited Grace.

Applying for Consciousness Kriya

After my connection with Mohanji, I started reading about Consciousness Kriya and the experiences of the initiates. Deep within my heart, I knew that it was meant for me as my soul craved for this sacred initiation. I don’t know why, but I never dared to apply for it. There were many reasons for my hesitation. First of all, it was because my immediate family has no belief in living Masters and such techniques. And I thought, it was meant for people who can sit and meditate for a long time, which I could not do. I had many such fears. As always, Mohanji, who knew all these things, lovingly gave me a wonderful and comfortable opportunity to apply.

I was planning a vacation, to visit my parents in Hyderabad, from the end of December 2017 to mid-January, 2018. Exactly at that moment, the Kriya training and initiation in Mumbai (to be held on 9th Jan 2018) was announced. So I had a very good opportunity to attend the initiation with my parents without having to depend upon my immediate family. (My maternal family – my mother and brother – are very connected to Mohanji.) My brother and I always wished that my mother should also be initiated into CK. So my mother and I applied for the sacred initiation. By his loving grace, both our applications were accepted. I was very happy and excited. Everything was going smoothly as I had wanted.

Within a week of acceptance of our CK applications, turbulence started, which I think was a major cleansing process for me. Negativity was hitting me from everywhere. The biggest hit was, when my mother-in-Law fell down and got her ankle slightly fractured. It was just a week before our vacation to Hyderabad. I worried that I may not be able to attend the initiation, as I could not leave my mother-in-law alone in such a condition. But on visiting a doctor, we came to know that, it was just a minor fracture, and she would be normal within 15 days. I realised that I still had sufficient time to be present for the CK initiation. I immediately understood how Mohanji was protecting me from the intensity of the negativity and making it possible for my mother and me to attend the initiation. My vacation to Hyderabad was however cancelled due to this incident, but we could attend the initiation without any problems.

Attending Consciousness Kriya Initiation

My brother was also present with us at the initiation. Baba arranged it in such a way that my parents, my kids and I didn’t face any problems in an unknown city, Mumbai. Moreover, Mohanji fulfilled my desire of meeting him, along with my brother and my mother. (The most loving and understanding trio I have in this lifetime.) Actually it was the first time that I left my little son (and my older son) with my father in a hotel room. He had never been away from me like this for a whole day. But I surrendered all my worries at Mohanji‘s feet and left for the venue. Mohanji as always took care of my worries. My little son was alright, even though he couldn’t see me for a whole day.

The day of the initiation, 9th of Jan, 2018, was very blissful and beyond my imagination, filled only with love and purity. As soon as I entered the venue, I could feel the pure energy of Mohanji. I felt that the whole room, the people present there, the food that we were served, everything was filled with Mohanji.

It was also the first time that I was meeting Deviji, which I was looking forward to, for a long time. She trained us in CK, which was again an amazing experience. She explained to all of us very patiently and clearly the whole process of CK. I felt so blessed that I had a chance to get the training of CK from none other than the Shakti aspect of Mohanji (Deviji). After the blissful training session, Mohanji himself gave us the sacred initiation. Later, he met my brother, my mother and I in a very loving manner, and that moment will always be one of the best moments of my life.

Neelu_CK_Inititation.jpg

After the initiation, we attended the group Mai-tri healing session, which was again a wonderful and blissful experience. In the evening, we had the blessed opportunity to participate in a soul soothing satsang with Mohanji. After the Satsang, as soon as Mohanji left the venue, my back ache, which I had been suffering from for many days, disappeared magically. He took all our pains away while leaving.

Visit to Shirdi

The day after the initiation, we were to visit Shirdi, after a long gap of 9 years. On the day of initiation, my mother and I thought that it would be wonderful if Mohanji was present with us in Shirdi. There was a retreat scheduled in Shirdi from that day onwards and MohanJi was also present there in Shirdi. Unfortunately, those not attending the retreat were not allowed to meet Mohanji. So we knew that we didn’t stand a chance of meeting him. But he was listening to us, as always.

The day we reached Shirdi, we attended the Shej Aarati of Sai Baba. My mother and I were waiting in a hall for the Aarati. As soon we were seated, we got the smell of a perfume, just the same that Mohanji wore during the initiation. We understood that he was present with us. The perfume remained with us the whole time. He added one more sign to indicate his presence. A black and sleek dog came from nowhere, and waited with us till we got into the Mandir hall for the aarati. He was there just for us, making sure everything was ok, I could feel it in his eyes. He waited with us while we were in the queue to enter the Mandir hall.

After we entered the hall, I didn’t see him. We had a wonderful Aarati and darshan of Sai Baba. As soon as we came out of the Mandir, he (the dog) was there waiting for us. We went to the Gurusthan to pay our respects to the sacred place. As it was late night, it was closed for darshan. So we just paid our respects from a distance. The black dog jumped through the railings, and he bowed before the Gurusthan. All the time, he was looking at me, straight into my eyes. I was just speechless. And at last, as we headed back to our hotel room, he also walked away. He stopped after a while, turned back, gave a long reassuring look at us and went his way. We were blessed to have this amazing experience. My feelings were one of gratitude and only gratitude.

Mohanji Pendant

It has always been my desire to have the Mohanji Pendant. I was trying to buy it online, but due to some reason, I couldn’t buy it for six long months. I tried to get one at the stall during the CK initiation too. But it was not available that day. I was very disappointed by this. I wanted the pendant to be blessed by Mohanji and to receive it from his hands. But it didn’t happen. So I requested the team there to send it to me, blessed by him at the Shirdi retreat. I got it on 27th Jan, at a blissful Bhajan Sandhya at Gurgaon. The day is very memorable for me.

Mohanji_Pendant.jpg

After a week of receiving the pendant, my kids were clicking my pictures at home. On that day, I wore a heavy black coat, and my pendant was beneath it. When I was going through the photos, the ones clicked by my little one had an amazing phenomenon. The place where the pendant was hanging on my chain, beneath the coat, was shining very brightly, like a small sun. Mohanji was present in the pendant. He showed it to me, so beautifully…

Mohanji’s Grace & Love

The unlimited grace and the unconditional love he always showers on a nobody that I am, can’t be explained in words. These words are only a very feeble attempt to show his love.

There have been many tests since my Kriya initiation, till this date. Being a very emotional person, I was shaken to the core, while undergoing these tests. He was very gently holding me through all these times, protecting me as a mother would protect her baby. He made me shed a lot of my fears, empowered me and never gave up on me, in spite of my many falls. With each and every experience, he came much closer to me, loved me more.

As I have said in my earlier experience blogs, his consciousness always speaks to me. Now, I talk to him more than anyone else in this world. In fact, the real conversations I have in my life are with him only. Sometimes I forget there is another world for me. But he makes me manage my other world too without any hiccups thus, filling my whole life with HIM everywhere. I can feel him now in my every cell. In fact, my whole being just belongs to HIM. My whole existence lies at his Lotus feet only and nowhere else.

I am now eagerly waiting for the blissful moment, when I will be able to merge into him completely, after completing all my duties of this lifetime. The wait for the complete dissolution, walking the path while holding HIS hand, is what LIFE means to me now.

Stone to Crystal

By Subhasree, UK

M walking1.jpg

In 4 days Mohanji is coming! Well, I can’t miss the counting, even if I do, my 9 year old son Sambhav keeps reminding me every day – “7 days more & Mohanji coming”, “6 days more and Mohanji coming”…so on and so forth. Pure innocent children resonate more with Mohanji, the innocence incarnate! Sambhav’s excitement is pure, no expectation, no ritual, no formality, no stress! Not only he is excited and counting days of Mohanji’s coming, he also keeps me on my track and checks, “what are you going to give Mohanji for dinner?” Therefore, I had better keep everything planned! Mohanji’s bodyguards can be found in any form! May be this time, in form of Sambhav! Hahahaha…

child1.png

Amidst all preparations – cleaning, shopping, packing, scheduling, planning, (the list is not a short one!), the excitement pervades. Time is flying. Especially the last week has gone so fast, as if there are only 4 hours in a day, not 24 hours! This is a proper festive season – just like Dussera, Diwali or Christmas. However, none of the chores brings any fatigue. There is only Joy and joy everywhere. Mohanji is already with us through these preparations. We are living Mohanji every moment!

Well, as much as I would like to just constrain myself in this joyful festive environment, I still have to keep on continuing my Dharma, my duty. Compassion Incarnate, Mohanji made sure that my Dharma (duty) also becomes joyful. Two days in a row, I was drenched with BLISS through experiences that showed me the power of Surrender and Devotion and reiterated Mohanji as the Sole existence.

tirur9.jpg

I would like share these two experience here.

Experience during Mai Tri Healing

Mr Patel (Name changed to respect his anonymity) wanted to have Mai Tri healing done on his ailing old mother (I would address here as “Aunty”). Despite the back-to-back tasks, I could not say no, as that was my dharma to be available when someone needs. They came in and we had some chats about Mohanji’s visit, the programmes, aunty’s health, hospital trips etc. Aunty had lost her husband recently and still in that shock which has affected her health. Whenever she comes home for healing, she looks at Mohanji’s photo and talks to Him. Like a child, smile doesn’t leave her lips, her face brightens up and she feels very happy and relaxed. It was the same this time too, though she looked much more frail and disturbed and quiet when she came in. After the chat, we started Mai Tri Healing. Mohanji was already with us through the chat that we had started.

During the process, while I was at her Heart Chakra, I suddenly saw and felt her husband, sitting for healing (instead of aunty) and I am doing Healing to him. Exactly how he looked before, in his white shirt, smile on his radiant face. I felt the softness of his chest as if I am doing healing on his heart chakra! Then in few seconds, I heard Mr Patel asking Mohanji (who I see sitting next to Mr Patel in the sofa), “Mohanji please tell where is Dad now? Is he waiting for mom or has he taken a birth, how is he?” Mohanji replied, “It doesn’t matter where he is. He is always with your mother.”

romantic3

After hearing this, I moved on to other chakras and eventually healing process completed. When I opened my eyes, the vision, the words were still vivid. No ambiguity, no blurriness.

From all my Mai Tri Healing experiences so far, I know one thing for sure. When I surrender completely and offer myself as, and only as, the instrument of Mohanji’s energy to flow in, Mohanji’s presence then becomes inevitable. His divine energy and through His, the entire Guru Mandala’s energy flows in. During healing what I see or hear is all that He sees & hears or whatever He wants me & the receiver to see and hear! Nothing is ever imagination or illusion.

2014-07 - Mohanji - Kailash - Yatra (1840).JPG

This incident again proved this.

After I finished the process, I narrated this vision to Mr Patel. His mouth was wide open. He said to me, “While you were doing healing, sitting here on the sofa, I was directly looking at Mohanji’s photo and asked him, Mohanji, is dad still waiting for Mom? Will Mom go to him and be with him again?”

It was crystal clear that while Mr Patel was having his conversation with Mohanji, I was hearing that during the healing. Mohanji not only answered to him verbally, but also by showing me the vision of Uncle sitting for Healing, He showed that Uncle is still present with Aunty during the Heart chakra healing.

To see and understand this ultimate truth of Divine Existence of Mohanji is as easy when you get that visibility. It would be wonderful when everyone (hopefully one day!) will be able to see this truth.

We have to develop EYES while we can and while the master is available.

Like a little baby open his eyes slowly after taking birth, my eyes are opening slowly too. I also understand that from an ordinary stone lying somewhere in the ground, with Mohanji’s shine, I am converting into Crystal that can reflect the shine!

crystal.jpg

Shree Ram in Treta Yug had converted a rock into Rishi Devi Ahalya (who was lying there as a rock for many yugas), just by touching his feet on the rock. In this Kali Yuga, Mohanji is turning many more stones like me to light reflecting crystals! How amazing divine Leela!

ahalya.jpg

Experience during reading a Blog

Another of my dharma was a schedule discussion event happening soon for which I was going trough some of Mohanji’s blogs. Despite the lined of activities for the whole day, I was determined to read few blogs today. I picked up the Babaji series – 1, 2 & 3.

Throughout the day, I was reading the series one after another. Of course, in between, I had to get up to do chores. However, the consciousness stayed with the blogs. What I read, was playing on inside. We had a family get together in the evening, for which I sent my husband and kids earlier and planned to be with them around 9 pm, just before dinner. After they all left home and all chores finished, I sat down to read the third blog in the series. By the time I finished reading, I felt very different. It was not normal fatigue or anything. I just couldn’t even get up from the sofa. My head felt heavy and I felt feverish. I didn’t understand what was it. I just slowly lie down on the sofa itself, in front of Mohanji’s picture. This is our Healing sofa – meaning when people come for Mai Tri Healing, they lie down on the sofa. For the first time, I was lying down on this Healing sofa!

As soon as lied down, I was unconscious. I had no sense of time, or fact that I had to go somewhere! Suddenly I came to sense and saw the time was about 9 pm! Even though I came to senses and eyes are opened, I still had the feeling of BLISS intact. I didn’t want move or go anywhere and talk! So I just sent a message to my husband that I am not feeling well and won’t be able to join them, I straight went to bed and slept.

When I woke up the next morning, I realised what I went through last evening was probably a cleansing process that I went through with reading the blog. It was the power of Mohanji’s energy that permeated through His blog to me and the cleansing happened.

WOW! Just by reading the blogs, this happened.

While I was cleaning my home in preparation for Mohanji’s visit, He was cleansing me through His presence during Mai Tri Healing and through the Blogs reading.

I realised that ,

no blog is by accident. Everything is positively transformational. Everything has a positive purpose. Everything is real.

Let me tell you, after these cleansing effects and the experiences, I suddenly had so much of inner energy to continue with my triple, quadruple amount of chores that I am racing to finish before Mohanji arrives.

The waiting and preparation for Mohanji’s arrival has become such a joy! Mohanji is with me, while not physically being with me.

When he says, “I am with you. I am in you”, He really means!

I have realised the beautiful fact now that fill me with immense joy and Bliss. Eternal Bliss.

My gratitude for my Gurudev for giving me this Bliss and everything even beyond my expectation. Giving me a taste of what it means “Being Merged” with you, Para Brahma!

For ever at your feet. Koti Pranam and endless Love, My Guruji.

With Mohanji Skandavale

A Connection over Lifetimes

Salona Surjoo (Ladysmith, South Africa)

SAlona with Mohanji

free

There are masters who come into this world purely for the purpose to help all beings. I personally, my family, people within our local Mohanji Ladysmith centre, within the country and globally, have had many beautiful, divine experiences with Brahmarishi Mohanji. Some may argue or question these connections and experiences. And as adults, we cannot make people feel the way we do or understand the path we have taken. But, the experiences and love shared between a master and an innocent baby, can certainly not be taken for granted. Babies are pure souls who have the capability to feel energies around them. They are playful and giggle at divinity and divine people, and are uncomfortable when subjected to negativity. Many may question the path, experiences and spiritual choices that followers have taken, but there is no doubt that when a baby expresses love and happiness for the same reason, it is definitely more than just ideas conceived by the human mind.

“I fulfill desires”, Brahmarishi Mohanji often says.

Those are not just mere words, but life experiences that I have come to experience even before meeting my Guru.

I have always loved babies. Their purity, innocence, and ability to express happiness at any moment brings a soothing sense of love and joy to my heart. I have been yearning to hold a baby close to my heart, to feel a soft tiny body in my arms and to play with tiny finger and toes. This feeling grew rapidly over the past years until the desire to cuddle with an infant grew so much that I found myself in tears. I had actually held a teddy bear close to my heart, eyes filled with tears and looked at a photo of Mohanji and said, “Please send a baby that I can play with.” Seconds later I had withdrawn from the teddy, dried my tears and asked myself, “Guru is the sun that lights a million suns.  How can I ask him for such a wish?” Perhaps it was the ego or the mind over analyzing the wish, but regardless of what it was, Mohanji answered…

A little baby was born in the same month that I had made my wish.  One who I would soon meet after some months. Magnificent is the timing of Guru!

Before getting into how Mohanji had fulfilled my wish to play with a baby, I would like to share with you baby Ariv’s story…

His smile after his healing and Devi Kavacham

After 14 years of endless fasts, prayers, and wishes, a beautiful baby boy was born to Jayshree and Ashil Mangal in Ladysmith, South Africa. This bundle of joy came into the world, bright, bubbly and in perfect health on the sunny morning of 23rd February 2017. A coincidence that baby Ariv Mangal was born on Brahmarishi Mohanji’s birthday? This special date was unknown to his parents as they were yet to meet us and hear about Mohanji until a few months later, but it was certainly not a coincidence that they shared the same birthday; as Ariv showed strong connections to Mohanji from a very early age.

Divine will – Meeting Ariv

Ariv and his parents moved next door in June 2017. Again, it was no coincidence that the place they had chosen to live for the next 6 months, was in fact next to a home where Mohanji was so greatly loved –  our home. My parents head the Mohanji Ladysmith Centre, His name is taken daily in our home, and Mohanji’s pictures are carefully place all over the house. Soon baby Ariv who was only four months old at the time was in and out of our home.

He was still so tiny, only being able to move his tiny hands and feet, and turn his head. Soon we realised that he used to turn his head in the direction of Mohanji’s photos in the lounge. And at first, I brushed it off. But this became more visible when we carried him upright and he would bobble his tiny head in the direction of Mohanji’s photo and give a big smile. At this age, Ariv should hardly smile. In fact, I used to ‘work hard’ to make him smile or laugh (the joy of hearing a baby laugh is so blissful). But just the sight of Mohanji’s photo brought a smile to his face. I had kept remembering the wish I had made in earlier months, and a few months later Guru had sent this cutest bundle of joy that I get to play with, feed and see too!

Not long after meeting him and his parents, things worked out for me and my sister to join the Badrinath Yatra in 2017. One day I was carrying baby Ariv and we were talking about the Badrinath trip. Upon hearing the name ‘Badrinath’,  Ariv gave us a huge smile and baby giggle. It was so funny that we started calling him Badrinath. Just before the trip, while Sholane and I were still in Ladysmith, Ariv was playing in the room with my father. He started laughing and called us to see what Ariv was up to. The baby was still just four-months-old at this time. When we got to the room, we see that my father was carrying Ariv next to a photo of Brahmarishi Mohanji in their room and Ariv was leaning forward to kiss Mohanji’s photo.

Baby Ariv goes to touch, kiss and hug Mohanji's photo (2)

My father had said that while carrying him, Ariv pointed to the photo and when he took the baby near it, he leaned forward to kiss it, and touch Mohanji’s hand in the photo.

Baby’s special gift

We were all so touched and I said I will definitely tell  Mohanji this when I meet Him in Badrinath. While in Badrinath, Sholane and I were shopping for little gifts to give people back home as a token from the beautiful town of Badrinath. While shopping we spotted a cute baby bangle which we bought for Ariv. Soon after we were given the opportunity to speak to Mohanji. I had conveyed baby Ariv’s story to Mohanji, showed Him Ariv’s photo and also gave Him the bangle to bless.

Mohanji said, “Look at his eyes, we have been connected from many births,”

He then added, “I give him grace and he knows it, that is why he does that.” I smiled and conveyed the message to his mum as soon as possible.

It then hit me. Ariv who was then just 6-months-old, was born on our Guru’s birthday, attracted to staying near a family who was connected to Mohanji, and received a gift from Badrinath which was blessed by Brahmarishi Mohanji himself, AND Mohanji had said that they were already connected from the past! He was definitely no ordinary shishu (Hindi for an infant).

The Badrinath team gifted all of us a picture of the group with Mohanji, in front of the Badrinarayan Temple. I had stuck this photo on the fridge in the kitchen as the lounge was already filled with Mohanji’s pictures. My brother, Sayijal had taken notice that sometimes while carrying Ariv, he would squeal (for no apparent reason known to adults), and when Sayijal had walked with him near that specific photo, he would just stop squealing and stare at the photo. Again, we found this cute but hilarious. Ariv’s baby tricks were becoming cuter and funnier each day.

His first words

One evening I was carrying Ariv and trying to get him to sleep, while my mum was praying and reciting the Hanuman Chalisa. He was comfortable in my arms but didn’t want to sleep. So I took him to see my mum praying as I thought he may fall off to sleep. What happened next completely shocked us both. My mum was almost at the end of the Hanuman Chalisa when I took him to see her. She was at the concluding part – Pawan Suta Hanuman… And at the EXACT same time, Ariv in his baby voice said “Ki Jai”. I was shocked, so was my mum. She concluded her prayer and turned around with the biggest smile and repeated his words, “Ki Jai! Baby said Ki Jai!” It was then I realised that I was not dreaming. She heard him utter the same words at the exact same time. He was still very small and had not even uttered anything else like Mama, Papa, nothing. So, Ariv’s first words were literally, “Ki Jai”. We were so shocked but started to piece together that Ariv’s connection to Baba is indeed very deep, beyond what we can even understand or realise.

Repeating the divine name

As he was growing up and was able to sit and play with his toys (and random household items) he would continuously repeat the word, “Ithi”. He would repeat the word when smiling and playing or eating, and he would repeat it when crying or squealing to change his clothes. We could not understand why he is continuously repeating the same word and thought it was just a baby word or something. Soon I realized that Lord Shiva’s 652nd name in the Shiva Sahasaranaam is “Ityai” which means, “the Lord is Lakshmi” or auspiciousness. I was so happy to think that Ariv is repeatedly calling out to Shiva.

Celebrating two beautiful birthdays

I had moved back to Pretoria in January 2018 with Sholane, and we were driving home on 23rd February to celebrate Mohanji’s birthday with everyone at the Mohanji Centre and celebrate Ariv’s first birthday.

We commenced with the formalities, chanting and bhajans, Ariv and his parents were also present and he celebrated his birthday by cutting a vegan cake, next to Mohanji’s photo at the Ladysmith Centre. He was not interested in the cake, but rather, he sat down on the cushion we keep for Mohanji’s feet and took one of the fruit Prasad to eat. Indeed a cute sight.

Choosing to eat a fruit prasad while sitting on Mohanji's foot cushion  during his Mai-Tri healing

Matching the puzzle pieces

Ariv was uncomfortable and crying a lot and our hearts felt sore to hear his soft baby cries. Wishing there was something more we could do to stop it or make him happy again. I went to the lamp to pray while carrying him and got a thought to play the Devi Kavacham. At that very moment, before I expressed my thought, Sholane said, “Play the Devi Kavacham it will help soothe him.”  I gave him to Sholane to carry while we all sat to meditate on the Kavacham. Ariv was still very crabby. As soon as Mohanji’s voice came on and the baby heard it, his face changed completely. I will try my best to describe this visually…

He gasped, his eyes changed from fear to happiness, he turned his head, (jumping over Sholane’s shoulder) all the way to look at where the music was coming from, he looked directly at the music box and said, “Haaawwh, Ithi!”  We then realized that Ithi that baby plays with, complains to and just loves so dearly is, in fact, Brahmarishi Mohanji. I then remembered Mohanji’s words in Badrinath, “I give him grace, and he knows it.”

We meditated on the Devi Kavacham 3 times. Ariv was still crabby but with each time we repeated it, he cried less and less and by the end, he was back to his bubbly happy, playful self.

Reading the Gita

Baby Krishna

That afternoon, we took him to my grandparents home, where he played with everyone as normal. I had taken him into my grandparents’ room, where he kept pointing to papers in the room. Repeating the word, ‘that’. He very clearly says the words, ‘this, that and there’. I pointed to a few things which he didn’t want, but when I pointed to a copy of the Bhagavad Gita that my grandmother reads, he got happy and stretched his arms to hold it.

Kissing Mohanji’s photo

Sholane and I travel back and forth from Pretoria to Ladysmith so we only see Ariv whenever we are home. On one of the trips home, Ariv had got a hold of Mohanji’s picture (the same one he used to turn his head to stare at when he was a baby). And he pulled it to his face to kiss it. He looked at the photo of Mohanji, directly into His eyes, and kissed Him, repeatedly saying, “Baaa”. When we ask Ariv, where is Ithi? He gives a huge smile, points to Mohanji’s photo on the wall at home and says, “Thereee”.

Ariv on Diwali as baby Krsna Ariv doing aarti with my mumAriv with my mum Shireen Surjoo   Ariv met Swami Bhaktananda at the Maha Sudarshan Chakra Homa in Ladysmith

I personally feel that the way a baby, uncontaminated by this material world, free from doubt, worry and skepticism, can so openly and undoubtedly connect with a master such as Mohanji, speaks volumes of the stature of such a Guru as well as the purity of such a baby. Ariv has not yet met Mohanji in the physical form and according to us, Ariv has only seen Mohanji’s pictures in our home, ‘unknowing’ to the mind, that Mohanji is a Guru or spiritual person. Yet, Ariv has connected so strongly to Him, recognizing Mohanji’s voice in the Devi Kavacham, to calling out to his ‘Ithi’ in happiness and sorrow.

May we all, including myself, be able to let go of the contamination created by society and become as free and delightful as a little baby, to be able to recognize and connect with the Divine without doubt and negative thinking.

Thank you, Father, Gurudev, and Friend, for giving me this beautiful opportunity to witness this divine love between you and baby Ariv and for the ability to write about it and inspire all who read it.

Love and gratitude for being able to write this beautiful, divine story between an innocent baby and a loving Master. And also being able to experience the joy of playing with a baby who is not only a joy but one who is so deeply connected to my Guru.

Mohanji with children and as a child

Just as baby Ariv, all babies are attracted to Mohanji every time they come in the proximity of Mohanji. Children love Mohanji. To see the instant bonding that gets created between Mohanji and the babies/children is to watch the divine Leela.

All children are the true reflection of Divine!  We leave you to cherish the divinity in this childhood photo of Mohanji.

Guru Purnima Celebration Worldwide 2018

Mohanji’s Guru Purnima message

Mohanji - Happy Guru Purnima

“Happy Guru Poornima to all of you.
This is not one day dedicated for the remembrance of your Guru. We should remember guru every moment as a reminder of who and what we actually are.
This day is for you to remember that the true guru is the real you. Your highest truth is your real Guru. Life provides the presence of Guru in your life through various incidents. When incidents are witnessed, when there is a witness, you will feel Guru. When you do not see incidents, instead see only the essence behind all incidents, you dissolve into the Guru. You will realise that you and guru have always been inseparably one. There is essentially no Guru outside of you.

My job is just to take you to yourself. You are the origin (of the journey) and you are the destination. I am just a reminder.

Happy Guru Poornima

With Love
Yours

Mohanji”

Day 2

Mother – The one who loves unconditionally. The one who provides before the child even asks. The one who sleeps on a half belly so that her child can have some extra. The one who leaves no stone unturned to ensure the child gets all the happiness in the world.

It is disheartening when the same child is unwilling to provide a safe roof, extend a supportive hand, a patient ear and a warm hug when the parent needs it the most, as they age.

Mother’s Nest Old Age Home for women is one such shelter which houses aged women who have been abandoned by their kith and kin. Ammucare volunteers at Hyderabad visited the shelter and distributed sarees, groceries and medical supplies and spent some quality time with them.

The elders very happy to just be able to chat with someone and have someone hold them.

MALAYSIA

On Saturday 28 July 2018, there was a lot of excitement in the air as we prepared for Puja of our dear Mohanji’s paduka. We started with the Maha Mantra and with each chant, beautiful sounds that seem like church bells ringing were heard. We flowed into chanting the 108 names of Mohanji whilst performing the Paduka Puja with offerings of milk and flowers and rose water.

Family members then performed Aarti and thereafter settled down for the Bliss of Silence Meditation. Peace and silence was experienced but one family member heard footsteps near the altar. Presence of Mohanji, Shirdi Baba and Devi Amma were deeply felt.

For the first time at the centre, our Prasad was food specially cooked by some family members topped up with a chocolate cake.

It was indeed a day of celebration remembering our beloved Guru Mohanji.🙏❤️

Malaysia - Mohanji - Guru Purnima

On Sunday 29 July 2018, visit to a childrens’ home began with the purchase of groceries under wish list of orphanage. Many family members, friends and devotees of Satya Sai Baba had generously contributed to the purchase and also tea for the home. Used furniture still in good condition was also arranged for delivery to the home.

The caretakers of the home are a couple and their children and two helpers. We had arrived at a time where the caretakers and some children had gone to arrange a burial ceremony of a dog which had been killed in an accident. The children had insisted on a proper burial for the dog. Love for animals flowed at such a young age.

There are 22 children ranging from 2 months old to 17 Years under the care of the home. We started with the Freedom Meditation. Children as young as 2 years and below, tried their very best to sit upright and keep their eyes closed. It was such a joy watching them. But alas, the warm day and lunch had taken its toil on them as they struggled to stay awake listening to the soothing music and voice of Mohanji.

There was much laughter and fun as the singing and games started and the highlight was tea time. Heart melting moments as we watched the children, the older ones feeding and taking care of the younger ones. The little ones ate their food with relish and even cleared their own plates and cups on finishing their meal.

Ending the event with sweets and chocolates distribution, brought more cheer and smiles from the little ones.

Datta Tapovan Canada

Gurupurnima, a remembrance to offer Gratitude to our Guru, Master, and all the teachers who gave us knowledge to recognize our best capacity and inner strength. Guru Tatwa that resides in Nature, Guru Tatwa that connects us to the Supreme Consciousness. Food was offered to shelter as part of the Gurupurnima celebrations.
Devotees at Mohanji Datta Tapovan Canada got together to celebrate this auspicious day in Unison. Vegan is the theme of this Ashram. Vegan is one of Mohanji’s teachings and by following HIS teachings All the prasad that was prepared was total vegan. The event started with Pranav chants and Mohanji Pooja. All Deities were invited with deep gratitude and total surrender with devotion that drenched each eye and touched deeply within each heart. Mohanji Pooja was followed by Mohanji Gayatri Mantra chanted unanimously 108 times. The vibrations thus generated made many tremble and Speechless. All Devotees got their Padukas and we had a Paduka Abhishekham chanting Mohaji’s 108 names. That Holy water was then distributed as Prasad amongst all. After the Paad Pooja each heart was radiating with love and heartfelt gratitude towards Mohanji and all the Guru Tatwa that continuously guide us and bless us all.The bhaav was so deep that it inspired into spontaneous kirtans that became the soul of the event, many sang, many danced, many just swayed away in HIS Glory. Though externally to honour the flow of life the pooja was concluded by offering Bhog{Food} followed by aarti, internally the celebrations continued each moment with Mohanji’s presence residing in each heart. All present relished the Holy prasad and took home peace and love. We ever remain grateful in the Lotus Feet of Mohanji and Sainaath Maharaj.

USA

We started the Guru Poornima observance by the Mohanji Family in the USA on Friday, July 6 with a group chanting of the Mohanji Gayatri mantra for 108 times. This continued for 21 days until Thursday, July 26.  Our group of hosts, Vidya from Connecticut, Vidya from Florida, and Pia and George from the DC area took lead in chanting and were joined by a group of dedicated chanters from all over USA via Zoom. On the day of the Guru Poornima, devotees offered prayers individually, with devotion and reverence to the Guru Parampara and to our beloved Guru Brahmarishi Mohanji and some conducted group meditation in their homes.

Devotees here have had many service projects in the pipeline for a while and it is worth noting that even though many tasks have taken long to culminate successfully, they reached fruition just in time for Guru Poornima, owing to the Guru’s grace. The following are a few noteworthy contributions made by our M family members to honor Mohanji and to offer love and gratitude:

Vidya from Connecticut successfully worked with Insight Timer, a very popular meditation app, to add the Power of Purity Meditation, opening it to the community of meditators all over the world.

Pia introduced the HSTY Kid’s Yoga at the Wat Thai Buddhist Temple in Washington DC as she took the children on an imaginary and fun-filled journey through a jungle, enjoying various animals through yoga poses.  The pictures taken at the event reflect the palpable sense of joy among those children.

Several members of the US family also participated in the global Guru Poornima Food Seva in Shirdi coordinated by Viji and other members of the ACT Foundation.

Anu introduced Conscious Dance in Virginia, to participants ranging from ages 3 to 75. Everyone who participated enjoyed the session with the same level of enthusiasm and energy.

GURUDEVA – OH MY MASTER LISTEN TO MY CALL – the trial recording of a new song, composed and sung by Lata, accompanied on the piano by Benjamin and video choreography by George was posted on Mohanji USA FB page here. We will be working further as a team to complete full recording.

With the blessings of Mohanji, the excerpt from a new recording of a chant originally conceived by Devadas, jointly sung by Natesh and Jelena – Guru Mohana Sharanam – was released. The full recording will be available through Gurulight.  A global effort led by Natesh!

Manu has been working hard for the past several months to put together some exclusive merchandise inspired by Mohanji. With Mohanji’s Grace Divine M Heritage was launched on the Guru Poornima Day.

Guru Poornima celebrations concluded on Sunday, July 29th with a beautiful gathering at the Celebration Center for Spiritual Living, Virginia. The magical evening started with the Freedom Meditation and everyone present became as a child.  The evening filled with joy and love, and moved on from meditation to dance, music and chanting, and concluded with a beautiful Arathi to Mohanji and the Guru Parampara.  Mohanji’s presence was felt intensely as unconditional love filled the air and the hearts, when Ben who joined the evening towards the end, played the song ‘Unconditional Love’ on the saxophone leaving everyone in bliss and silence.  JAI MOHANJI.

A blessed morning filled with purity, bliss, joy and grace of Guru to offer our gratitude to our Gurudev Mohanji and entire Guru Mandala.

Guru Paduka puja commenced with Maha mantra Om chanting, then Pratham Pujya Genesh mantra followed by Mohanji Gayatri mantra.
With the verses from Guru paduka stotra, we offered our gratitude to Guru’s paduka.
Finally we purified ourselves by chanting Mohanji Ashtotari mantra.
With every chant, the atmosphere was filled with purity and presence of Mohanji.
We felt totally merged with Guru Tatwa…

Finally after offering Arati and Prasad to Mohanji everyone enjoyed the prasad too with some informal satsang. Mohanji, with his usual joyful presence brought bliss and sparkle in everyone’s face, heart and soul.

This was only the beginning of Guru Poornima celebration that will continue in Food Seva over the weekend at Skandavale.

As part of Guru Poornima celebration, we carried out food seva at Skandavale temple on the weekend through a snack stall. While we served snacks and tea to the devotees outside the main food time (temple serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to all devotees) in the times while they wait between the pujas, the income generated from this snack stall goes as donation towards the Hospice that Skndavale trust maintains. So in turn, our seva was to the terminally ill people who are being looked after by the Hospice. More than 600 devotees were fed over the weekend and we generated a good amount from the snack stall, that went to Hospice. This seva was more than just merely a snack stall and generating money. This entire two days of event was, as ever, a clear sign of divine play. Things thats ususally not easy for us, happened smoothly. We will not exaggerate if we say that we feel Mohanji’s presence in every bit of activities that we did. From the food being tasty to people being satisfied and not hesitating to praise and buying more to even taking away our tiredness of constant standing and working with hardly any rest! There was joy all the time! Smile never left our face! This joy and happiness was so evident to others, we even get complimented on that! This is not ordinary. Times when we needed something and would have just thought of Mohanji, in no time, that issue would have got sorted out! On top of all this, we even got chance to be part of all the special Pujas in temple, which otherwise with so much crowd, is an impossible chance. Divine ensured that all our unasked desires were fulfilled too. We thought we were doing seva!!! In reality, we were blessed with the opportunity just with Mohanji’s pure grace! How much ever we explain, words will not be enough to express our gratitude to our “Incarnation of Compassion” – Mohanji for BEING with us every single moment!!! Mohanji your Love for us all is immesurable! Thank you for making our tiny effort, successful with your presence. All our efforts surrendered at your feet.

The Master’s Stroke

Grace was just another word in the dictionary
Till you took me under your wings;
Surrender was never a word I knew
Till your words taught me;
Surrender I did and what followed was only and only Grace.

Love, you gave me so unconditionally
Never did I fathom its boundaries till you loved me;
Faith, not a feeling but a tradition so powerful
Dawned on me as your blessings enveloped me
Richer and richer I became, no trophies or bounties could give me.

Service and Compassion could be so magical and expanding
Every cell of me started experiencing
Because you were present every moment
Guiding to be pure in thoughts, words and actions
Being meaningful in existence for one and all.

I have only one thing to offer you my Master
Gratitude and Gratitude every second of my life
Half a decade and a metamorphosis I have undergone
With your love, your grace, your blessings and omnipresence
For this, none other than me can vouch and comprehend.

On this auspicious day an amazing experience shared with deep gratitude by Neelu Vepu. As below:

“One more Mohanji Leela graced by Him on my family…

My cousin Sameer was admitted in a hospital in Hyderabad, last Saturday with high fever.(He is a young boy of 25 yrs old.He has lost his parents and little brother in a tragic road accident while returning from Shirdi ten years ago). Doctors first diagnosed it to be Dengue, owing to the rapid fall in his platelets.
But after some time, tests came positive for malaria and Jaundice too.His body temperature was not coming to normal even after medication for 3 days.As soon as I came to know of this, yesterday afternoon i messaged Mohanji for help. He immediately replied even though he was very busy and advised some thing to be done for removal of his Karma. His consciousness was there with him helping Sameer recover. When i prayed Mohanji before I went to bed yesterday and asked him, whether Sameer will be ok, then he replied in consciousness that he was there beside Sameer. Last night the situation was very grim.
Just in one night, Mohanji changed the whole scenario .
Now today, he is having a normal body temperature, no signs of malaria, dengue, or jaundice after further tests. And he has been shifted to a normal room in the hospital from ICU. And he will be discharged in just two days after some observation. Mohanji made the ordeal of one week over in just one night.

Such love and grace is possible only from him.
Thank you so much my Gurudev for everything.

Always at Your Lotus Feet,
Neelu

We fed 70 kids at Plastic View today. They had apples, oranges, bread, chips and a sweetie.

‘ “Big doors swing on small hinges” this saying comes to mind when we visited the Baby Home, home to abandoned children, poverty and homelessness are often causes of child abandonment but we can make a difference by sharing unconditional love for them, one person at a time! In honor of Guru purnima we spent time at this home today giving them token gifts but most importantly our Love! Spare a thought for these beautiful embodiments of Love by visiting these places and just spreading love by giving them the gift of your time and love, so simple! Blessings!’ says Sulosh Pillai

Inspired by Guru Brahmarishi Mohanji and the incredibly transforming impact He has in every moment of my life, (in all of our lives) coupled with His lovingly, fatherly nature – a video and song dedication spontaneously came together as a tribute to my beloved Guruji on Guru Purnima. These words are a small attempt to try to describe the indescribable way that Baba makes me feel. The song dedication “You raised me up” by Westlife (2005) felt like the most appropriate dedication to the One who truly Raised me up in every aspect of this life.
This video dedication can be viewed here.

A Mystique Yogi Nath Mohanji

“Mohan”
He captivates everyone
Like his name
He walks with a grace
Glow on his face

A Bewitching smile
With an innocence of a child

On his path
None goes empty
Animals or Humans
He showers his blessings

He gazes with compassion
With never ending love

Some address him as Guruji
Some call him Master or Baba
Some call him Father

For me he is my all in one
A “Big Brother”
An assurance he gives me
“I am always with you ”
Is a reminder from my beloved Guru
All I can say is I love him
All I can see is Love personified

Jai Matha ! Jai Bhagwan !!
Jai Mohanji ! Jai Guru Parampara !!

Rishiver. Pranaam!!! I cannot forget the day you majestically walked into my Life. I then understood the meaning of the maxim that when the time is ripe, the Guru will himself appear before you. My deep salutations n reverence at your Feet. I know nothing more. Happy Guru Purnima Father
Love you loads
My humble Pranam at your lotus feet
So blessed are all of us with you being with us at every moment of our life.

Pranam Mohanji. Happy Guru Poornima. I am out of words. Silence will probably be able to convey what I need to. Beyond this existence, in the true merger, You and I are One. Simply because I do NOT EXIST. Let me be WITH You, Let me be IN You, Let me BE You! After your beautiful message, I better keep Silence. Thank You for every moment.

I was looking forward to a blissful Guru Purnima day as the work front was light. Surprising it started with an Emergency at 5am. I was rushing to the hospital at the same time thanking Mohanji as I realised he had already planned my day. With His Grace all the four situations were handled and I cud reach back by evening. Was conscious of the Gurus day as well as instructions for the Lunar Eclipse ,when Mohanji said, Connect as much to me. Physical tiredness crept in yet prepared a small make shift Alter bed side and as I was by myself started a mixture of chanting, Mantras, Gayatri and few talks as means of connections with Father. Could go on till around 1.30 am when was conscious of total lunar eclipse. Same time like an small innocent child crying for ice cream, my mind also wanted to feel his presence but kept on telling myself to just stay connected as rest was his job. Was in and out of next side bed, still awake and throughout chanting something. By 3.30 am sat in the alter a bit more before retiring in about 15 minutes surrendering all what He could make my tired body do. Around 4am I am awakened, but to my utmost surprise not my myself but the VOICE OF MOHANJI who enters my room. No physical form seen but only in Ether form asking me, What about the Aarti? Is the speaker plugged in. All get ready for the Aarti.I immediately get up only to realise firstly that Mohanji is here completing my unfinished Sadhna with the Aarti.
The time coincided exactly with the end of the Eclipse. Secondly, the last candel finished the moment I opened my eyes after Aarti and thanking Mohanji for making it complete.
Thirdly, I was in Connect with all the Mohanji Family doing all Sewa throughout the day so am sure when Mohanji said, all of you get up, I truly believe that all of you were present in my subconscious in a big way. It was nothing to do with only me but the whole Mohanji Family.
Like always He just made me do my plugging in and rest of the Deliveries he made both on a physical and spirit level.
Am sure each one was blessed their own ways by Mohanji.
All in His feet🙏❤🙏
