The Omnipresence of Mohanji

Whatever the activity – Guru Raksha Homa, meditations or a simple wish, these four testimonials show the unseen hands of Mohanji embracing his devotees with love and compassion.

Experience in Shirdi

Alok Nath, India

It’s my first time in Shirdi. The day after the Kriya initiation, I went to Shirdi Baba temple early morning and felt the lightness when reaching near the samadhi. Then, I attended the group Mai-Tri as part of the retreat, prayed to Mohanji and ancestors, and tried to be present there. Preeti Duggal Ji started the process, saying it was Mohanji who was doing it. After some time, I started to feel vibrations in the right side of my face, cheek, neck and shoulder, where there were already energy blockages from an accident. It went deeper as time progressed; it became so intense, like all toxins were being pulled from my jaw bone and neck. My face was moving towards the right side like someone was walking around and pulling it, and I was resisting it. It became heavier as she said, “Kali Ma is here, Mohanji is here, Sai Baba is here.” My head was already bent down when she said we could bow down to Baba. It was that intense healing; I couldn’t even put my head up; it was totally bent with energy vibrations on the right side. It was very hard for me to open my eyes when the process ended.

In the afternoon meditation session that day, I slept intensely. Q n A sessions with Mohanji gave me more clarity. The next day, it was Power of Purity meditation after the Satsang. It was the best one I have ever done; I could easily follow it deeply. Earlier times, I couldn’t raise my hands in a blessing position, but this time, it was smooth; the energy was totally different.

Then came conscious dancing. I even thought about whether I should attend the event. When the process started, they said Mohanji was there, but I thought it was just an event for fun in the end. I tried not to resist and moved with the flow. Different emotions were rising, and tears started to appear, which she said could happen initially, but I thought it wouldn’t. Dimensions were shifting with grace. It was really hard for me from the heart chakra; I couldn’t talk much when it reached the throat chakra. It clearly showed me the blockage in expressing. When bhajans were on, tears were rolling on their own. Whenever I focussed on the outside, especially through my eyes, I was losing the flow of the process. Then I could hear Preeti Duggal Ji telling all to close our eyes to feel more. Everybody was enjoying in their own ways with Masters’ Grace. Thanks to Devi Ji for designing this session.

The next day, there was a tree plantation, and I left Shirdi with Masters grace to nearby Ankai fort where there is an Agastya temple. Many things are still happening. Even if I don’t understand, I can see how background work is being done from above for all to receive grace. THANKS TO ALL.

Meditation Miracle

Jelena Raičević, Serbia

Jelena shares a testimony of the “Power of Purity” meditation held in Belgrade, Serbia. Many people experienced that Mohanji comes astrally to be with the participants when his meditation is practiced.

First, I felt that Mohanji was standing behind me and that he placed his hand lightly on my shoulder. Then, as my palms rested on my knees while meditating, I felt his palm on my hand. When he let go, I saw that he started walking around the room, tapping/caressing people on the tops of their heads. He came near my friend Sanja, who was also meditating in the room and had never met Mohanji before. He held her hands and gently tapped her head. Then he hugged her. Then he returned to me and held both my hands. His hands were below, and he kept mine above, on his. Somebody told me that this way of holding hands is typical for Mohanji in everyday life, that he often holds his hands in the way described. Later, when we completed the meditation, my friend Sanja asked me, “Hey, did you hold my hand during the meditation?” We were one and a half meters away, so there was no way that I would have been able to reach her. I said I didn’t. She said, “I felt it physically, and also the warmth of the palm on mine.” I responded that it wasn’t me and that I saw Mohanji had come and held her hand. She said, “I felt it was him, but I didn’t want to seem like I’m imagining, so I thought, perhaps it was you.”

Guru Raksha Homa

Mahesh Balerao, Canada

Guru Raksha Homa was performed for three families on Thursday, 29th April 2021. These three families requested to get the Homa performed on their behalf. The families were from India, USA and Canada.

During the Homa session, Mohanji’s energy and presence were observed and captured on the camera. Every time I start a Homa, I always connect with our Guru, Mohanji. At the start of the Homa, chandan smell was experienced and to confirm Mohanji’s presence, a big letter “M” was visible in the Homa fire.

Mohanji, as the fire element, can burn any unwanted, unresolved, past lineage situations/karma and protect the whole family and their lineage. Guru Raksha Homa is very specific for lineage karma situations and unburdens the weight of unresolved situations. Fire is the only one of the five elements that remains pure and burns the negative or unresolved situations.

When the Guru Raksha Homa is performed at the right time and space, Guru Mohanji steps in to resolve family lineage problems. Based on acceptance and only if karmically allowed, the Homa protects the current situation and helps the past seven generations and seven generations in the future. Lineage has karma which is passed on to every generation, and the complicated relationships make it even heavier. Mohanji removes and burns unwanted situations that are causing or creating problems to take the whole lineage towards liberation. Our path and Tradition leads us towards liberation (freedom).

Yesterday, when I was performing the Homa, I observed and realised the same – the burning of unwanted karma. While performing the Homa, I could see and feel the exact situation of a devotee’s house burning and destruction happening. Homa pictures with black, dark smoke represented the same, and at the same time, I heard Mohanji speaking and talking to birds and animals, making them happy and making sure that they were not affected by the fire; he was with the animals and birds in the property site to help them feel comfortable and calmer. Later, the devotee confirmed that the burnt house had the presence of many birds, and a peacock actually came and sat on the rooftop. They have never seen a peacock before in the neighbourhood!

Mohanji’s energy was working in 360 degrees and sucking up the whole negativity sitting there, and then Ganesha appeared from Mohanji’s energy, indicating a positive turn. Ganesha was seen planting the Nagvel – the green leaf we use for puja or any auspicious ceremony. It was a situation where Mohanji blessed the devotee beautifully.

Mohanji then started working on another family. This family has deep-rooted connection with Mohanji over generations. The family is going through relationships problems.

Although their connection to each other was very strong, they were not content in life and had difficulty facing the experiences and facts of life, having doubts and second thoughts when decisions had to be made. Often, the intellect created situations for the family to separate, and their relationships were broken.

Mohanji, as a Guru and our energy source, did cleaning and hovered over the past-life situations to restore friendship and companionship. It was a lack of understanding and not helping each other to understand the soul aspects of relationships. Within Mohanji’s energy, Siddhas confirmed a powerful connection with the family. They performed fire rituals within Mohanji’s energy and discussed the relationship between companion souls, and restoration of relationships happened through Mohanji.

Love and peace were prevalent, and Mohanji’s presence was fully felt in the situation, showering blessings on the children and their future activities.

Surprise Divine Birthday Wish

Bhumika Arvind, Canada

I am writing today to share Mohanji’s limitless kindness and compassion. It was my son’s seventh birthday. A day before, I had contacted Preeti Duggal to find out what to do with Baba’s shawl that I had recently received. She guided me that it’s okay to wrap my son in the shawl for protection and love. On the day of his birthday, the day was going along. I checked my email and was just blown away. There was a birthday card from Mohanji. I couldn’t believe it and stood there staring at it. I rushed to share with everyone at home, especially my son. He was busy playing with his new toys. But when I showed him the card from Mohanji, he paused and looked at it; I still remember that look on his face; he was surprised and curious but at the same time very happy.

I wrote to Preeti di sharing what had transpired and how unexpected but such a beautiful, divine gift and blessing it was. I take her for being such a beautiful tool in Mohanji’s hands. She mentioned it is grace, but she didn’t share anything with Mohanji.

I shared the recent update with my husband. I knew this was Mohanji’s leela, but my husband went on with his detective work. So he tried calling people at the Mohanji Datta Tapovanam Ashram to figure out who may be involved and to express gratitude for this blessing. He ended up with a more puzzled look than when he started his detective work.

Mohanji, it is you and you all the way. There is no way I can pay back your compassion and kindness. And there is no end to your divine play. Mohanji, you keep orchestrating so many leelas simultaneously and fulfilling many devotees’ desires. Your divine play has at times brought solace to me; other times have been a hit on my ego; brought me contentment and peace during distress. And I am deeply grateful for everything that you do; it is only your grace that I am made aware of your leelas, but I feel it in my heart that you do much more behind the scenes that I don’t know and maybe will never know. It will only happen with your grace. I hope that I stay in your consciousness always and forever, Mohanji, no matter what!

Transformations through group meditations – part 3

These two testimonials by Chitra Aylam and Nirupma Chowdary are experiences of Mohanji’s Presence without presence during online meditations and chanting. Time or space is never a constraint when connecting deeply with awareness and faith.

INSTRUCTION VIA BLISS OF SILENCE MEDITATION

by Chitra Aylam, India

God sends Masters to guide us if we have a strong wish for a Guru and, the Masters use various methods to guide us. Before meeting Mohanji in 2018 January, I had another Guru, Matha Sulochana Devi, who lived in Krishna Consciousness and took Samadhi in 2007. Here is an experience I had in 2018, within few days after meeting Mohanji in person.

FAITH WORKS WHEN YOU SURRENDER

Usually, I never notice the colour of the costume, ornaments and so forth of another person. Few days after meeting Mohanji, my brother informed me about many meditation techniques of Mohanji which can be downloaded. So, I searched and found the Bliss of Silence meditation (BOS) audio and listened to that once. The next day, both of us decided to do it, but my search for that earlier one resulted in switching to a BOS video in Singapore. Before starting, I switched off the room light and the computer screen after the audio started playing. After the five-speed breathing exercise, at a particular time, I dozed off for some seconds, and then I couldn’t hear any voice coming through; there was no background music. So, I thought the PC got stuck and switched on the screen.

Mohanji, in a pink shirt, was sitting in a chair with his eyes closed. When I watched, Mohanji opened his eyes, waved his hand and spoke in Malayalam (voice wasn’t audible, but I could clearly understand), “Not over yet, close your eyes and continue.”

Shocked at this, I switched off the PC screen, closed my eyes, but my mind started asking, “Was he talking to me or someone in the hall?” Maybe some Malayalam speaking followers were sitting in the hall, etc. Immediately, I instructed my mind to continue with the meditation, as said by Mohanji.

I couldn’t believe this. For one month, daily, I went on checking this video and couldn’t find what I saw. Later, I connected to Dr. Sunil Nair, who organized this event, and he confirmed that Mohanji spoke entirely in English there because there were many North Indians present in the hall. So, I understood that the instruction given during the meditation was entirely meant for me. So dear friends, Mohanji can connect to us through the recorded video too and bless us.

Such is the blessing given by our dear Guru Mohanji. My humble prostration at your lotus feet, dear Mohanji, for giving me such a beautiful experience. Jai Mohanji.

Chanting is a very powerful technique. And when done in a group, it becomes very powerful. We started the Saturday Mahamrityunjay chanting for half an hour a year ago, offline and later through a zoom session. Slowly we started using, ‘Mohanji conscious chanting‘ technique. Someone might feel what the difference is? You are chanting the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra only.

My personal experience is that with Mohanji conscious chanting technique, you invoke the mantra’s power and invoke the power and energy of Mohanji and connect to his consciousness. Thus chanting becomes many folds powerful.

When we begin chanting, we connect to Mohanji and our spine and feel the presence of our Guru in our heart chakra, the seat of our Guru. Using this technique, nine of us started chanting this Saturday.

My family is going through a covid situation – a grim situation. Just before the chant, I surrendered everything to Mohanji, including my fear and any apprehensions I had in my mind. With total surrender to Mohanji and fully present in the session, I led the chanting of Mahamrityunjay mantra.

My belief is that when we chant from deep within, we align ourselves, our chakras and feel a rhythmic movement of energy from the root chakra to the crown chakra. One starts melting in the rhythm, and you become centred within yourself.

All through the chanting, Mohanji’s presence was felt, as if he was sitting with us chanting. The Mahamritunjaya mantra is a potent mantra that removes negativity, fear of death, curing and strengthening us. It helps in elevating oneself towards liberation.

Suddenly, while chanting, I felt a black cloud-like thing rising up in my chest, collecting in the centre, and it suddenly went out of my crown. I felt suddenly lighter, as if all the burden was taken away. And then Mohanji was clearly visible, blessing each one of us with white light.

A white light came from his palm, covering me in love and warmth that was soothing, very reassuring, and having immense pleasure and peace. The session went on for half an hour. In the end, there was a deep feeling to share Mohanji’s energy with all those suffering in these difficult times of Covid in India. We then chanted, ”Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu’, for each being of Mother Earth.

Mohanji was looking upon us smiling and with a twinkle in his eyes. We bowed down to the Master at the end of the session. Each one felt the powerful energy. Two of them had tears in their eyes. Each one wanted to be in that energy without saying anything.

For me, it was a blessing. I know Mohanji is always with each of his devotees. Only one has to be hollow and empty to receive his energy and merge in his consciousness. He is our guide, our survivor and a pillar of strength. Our faith in him would sail us through this calamity smoothly. That’s why he came and confirmed his presence and blessings.

Shiva – the place where all rivers meet

Ulla Shiva

by Ulla Bernholdt, Denmark

I want to share my personal experience during the six-day program of Shivaratri 2021, which I feel transformed me and has led me to higher awareness.

The program consisted of different modules led by Mohanji Acharyas, including daily blog reading, chanting, homa, Conscious Gapless Breathing, meditation and experience sharing leading up to Mohanji’s satsang on Shivaratri and a 12-hour live Homa from his home. In one of the scheduled zoom calls, Mohanji Acharya Sjarn read a Mohanji blog about Shiva, a blog that I have read before and may have understood from a mental point of view.

Shiva State of Consciousness – an aspiration of every yogi

But this time, I felt different. While listening, I could feel Mohanji’s energy very tangibly inside me moving up my spine to the top of my head. I spontaneously began to see inside my head the different teachers and Masters that I have connected with and all the different processes that I have practised at different stages in my life. It then dawned upon me that the driving force, the connection and the source of all experiences behind them were Shiva.

Shiva is the red thread connecting all the beads from seemingly quite different processes I have encountered – from Christ to Zen to Mohanji’s Consciousness – just to mention a few. The scattered pieces of a puzzle began to synthesize. The energy and joy rising from that realisation were almost uncontainable. I had been searching for the One – the indivisible, and Shiva had been there all the time! Oh, what joy!

Actually, I was not home while listening to that zoom call. I was riding my bicycle while trying to concentrate on listening to every word at the same time. There I was in the middle of the road and the daily business as usual, and it seemed a bit surreal to me, compared to the feeling I had inside of elevation and expansion, feeling overjoyed, ecstatic, and immensely grateful to Mohanji and the Tradition. I felt like flying! The scene reminded me of the one in a feature film: E.T, riding the bike in the air, do you remember it?

I have been meandering through many rivers (following many different paths), and in a split second, during the reading of Mohanji’s blog, I found myself in a place where all the rivers come together.

I felt I was watching the source of the rivers, the Sangam where rivers meet, and the sea where they end, all at the same time. To me, Mohanji is such a place. Because he encompasses all aspects in every one of us, every state we are in and every stage of our evolution, and he responds accordingly, allowing us to have our individual expression and course. Many a time, I have heard him answering people according to their mode. Once, we were taking a dip with him in the Ganges’ holy waters during a Himalayan retreat, and a person asked if the Ganges really is that sacred or if it is just a symbolic representation, a myth? Mohanji answered that it is just a symbol, according to the doubting mind of the questioner. At least, that is my personal interpretation of the situation.

Another reminder for me of the unity of Shiva was that during the daily zoom calls, I reunited with friends I have met and spent time with a long time ago in some other contexts than with the Mohanji family. Here, we were brought together again by the love of Shiva.

One of the elements in the meetings was Mohanji’s Power of Purity meditation which I have been fortunate to conduct for other people many times, but not being able to participate in myself more than a few times. In the meditation, I felt Mohanji’s hand on my forehead and the top of my head receiving his Shaktipat.

The whole process starting with the inner cleansing, participating in Conscious Gapless Breathing, fruit fasting, chanting, and culminating with Mohanji’s Satsang and the powerful Homa has been such a gift without any effort just like the flow of a river following its natural course. I am sure our Shiva, Mohanji, has enabled many of the participants to explore deeper aspects of themselves during these days.

As I end this testimonial, I would like to thank all the Acharyas and participants involved in the process and our dear Guru Mohanji for their untiring selfless service and intention to reach higher awareness of Shiva.

Unburden yourself with Mohanji

mohanji black tshirt

By Charles Ndifon Londi, Canada

It was towards dawn that I had this unsettling dream that left me baffled and thinking all day what exactly it meant. I was hunched over in the dream, bent double like a feeble, older man at a very advanced age. This posture was caused by the baggage I was carrying. It was made up of every kind of thing imaginable and was like a mountain. Yes, I was literally carrying a mountain on my back until I could not move; or walked with a lot of inconvenience to myself. When I woke up, I first thought gleefully, that I was rich or will become rich, as man is naturally inclined towards possessiveness and ownership of as much property as he can. My thinking was buttressed by the fact that my mountain of stuff contained everything.

However, quiet reflection over time convinced me otherwise, and I had to discard the surface materialistic interpretation of the dream. It dawned on me that was the karmic baggage I was hauling around, so heavy, from lifetime to lifetime, labouring under its merciless weight. I became very sober and began thinking of how I can unburden myself of this heavy load that I have been carrying around for eons. Oh, it had grown into a high mountain! I found solace in the fact that in the present, in the nowness of my life, I have found Brahmarishi Mohanji, or rather he has fished me out to make the journey back to the original unmanifested state of pure freedom, brightness, and joy.

His words rang in my ears and rays of hope brightened my day when I listened to his calm and reassuring words in the FREEDOM MEDITATION:

”…Feel as light as a feather, feel so beautiful and relaxed. Feel yourself as a beautiful flower, feel as free as a bird flying in the sky. You are light; you are free. You are light and free. My beautiful children, realize that you have no fears and pains from the past, you have no pains and fears in the future too. No pains, no fears…”

Mohanji – Freedom Meditation

Perhaps at this juncture, it is appropriate to make an appraisal of this 10-minute Freedom Meditation which reminded me that I need not worry about my heavy load upon meeting Mohanji. The meditation is to help children grow up with spiritual values and with their innocence still intact, but a penetrating analysis reveals that even adults need it more than children. What a great way to start an adult’s day with only a 10-minute empowering Freedom Meditation!

Why? Just look at how society has separated us from our childhood sense of freedom, truthfulness, openness, and playfulness, and corrupted our minds. Just imagine the burden of past-life karma, the phobias, the restrictions, the bad choices made with their consequences which burden many an adult in this life and in past lifetimes, and which shape the future; just imagine the lost hope which is the portion of most adults. The Freedom Meditation is a reminder of who we truly are apart from the personal self which is on the field of karma – always light and beautiful, as pure and transparent as crystal, and as free as a bird flying in the ethereal skies. Moreover, we are assured that by living in the present, we can escape from the pains and fears of the past, anxiety about the future, when walking hand-in-hand with Mohanji. The 10-minute guided Freedom Meditation kick-starts my day, which is wonderful for such a very short meditation.

The reason we are still roaming on this old Earth, this uncertain platform in space and time, is because of the karma that binds us here. It is comforting to know that in spite of all that we have gone through and that we are carrying along unconsciously, there is hope and certainty for freedom from our old baggage, patterns, untoward desires, maniacal tendencies, passions, and other unimaginable things that burden our lives and shackle our birthright – the right to spiritual freedom and an existence rooted in supreme awareness of the true reality of life.

Mohanji stresses the nowness of the attainment of this state, this supreme moment of life unfettered with baggage from the past, or anxieties about the future. I have found out that the practices, guidance, and education on certain issues that Mohanji gives us, coupled with the fact he has incarnated in a time-tested Tradition that Masters/saints of the past followed to attain supreme consciousness, can help not only me with my huge baggage, but just about anyone who aspires for Jivan Mukti, which is the true freedom/liberation of the real self (the real us apart from the body, senses, mind, and ego) from the maze of materiality in which we’re trapped.

It starts with unburdening ourselves, and Brahmarishi Mohanji can show us how to throw off our heavy load/baggage. He is teaching me to cast off my burdens here and now and also assuring me that the burdens and fears of the past need not worry me as I have arrived at his lotus feet.

Stay connected to your Self, God and Guru

Swathi Jarugumilli, Australia

My deepest pranaams (prostrations) to Guru Mohanji for letting the words flow from me as I write my first testimonial.

Engaging in spiritual satsangs (gatherings), bhajans, reading books of saints, and powerful Masters like Sripaada SriVallabha Swami, Shirdi Sai Baba, etc. helps one to connect to God (Self).

Mohanji Acharya Rakshitha often organizes book reading sessions, spending about an hour every day to contemplate on powerful books from the Masters of our Datta Tradition. This type of reading is known as parayana in Sanskrit. She offers everyone the opportunity to read a chapter if they are interested in doing so. So a few of us have been taking turns in rotation every week to be the voice of this book reading. During one such group reading session when the parayana of the holy book Sri Sai Satcharitra was on, it happened to be my turn to read. However, I completely forgot about this session, being totally engrossed in household chores. The other group members waited for me and then managed to complete the reading for the day in my absence. I felt very embarrassed about my carelessness and was later advised that it is essential to be committed to a word/promise that is given, and these words made me contemplate deeply on it.

Later, the Power of Purity meditation program (41-day challenge) was organized worldwide. I first thought it was a paid program, but it was clarified that only my commitment for 41 days was needed and nothing else was required. I enrolled immediately anticipating that this program would change my patterns, and indeed it did transform me for the better.

While I was participating in the program, I became convinced that it was a blessing from my dearest Lord Sripada Srivallabha Swami. It felt no less than doing a mandala (41 days) deeksha (the taking on of a serious spiritual discipline). According to the resolution I took at the beginning of the program, I stayed committed to a vegan lifestyle until the completion of the 41 days. My mother participated in this program and completed 41 days, too. She is an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba as well.

Sometimes during the program, something would come up and I would feel like I might not be able to attend the meditation (as my toddler might wake up and cry), but with Guru Mohanji’s grace, it would all flow perfectly. Every day, I surrendered all my thoughts and questions to our dear Guru Mohanji.

At the start of the meditation each morning, we were guided with one intention each day for the 41 days, and that helped all of us very much to get deeper into our meditation. While the first few days went well, sitting with an erect spine continuously for an hour was really challenging. However, it became easier as we progressed. My mother and I soon got accustomed to waking up early, taking a shower, lighting a diya (oil lamp) at our altar, and cleaning our meditation space/room before sitting for meditation every morning.

With everyday practice, I felt the intensity was increasing, and I started having visions during the meditation. It was very new to me. Being the curious cat, I would ask and find answers to everything happening to me. I tried to get as much information as possible, but it did not help me – instead, it made me even more restless.

During these times, I happened to read something in a group, which was a forwarded quote by Mohanji, which said, “Drop everything that is bothering you.” I tried to follow this, and while it was not easy coping up with such crazy mind-stuff, I was able to slowly focus on meditation with divine help. It was mentioned in our sessions that learning to ignore the mind helps quite a lot in the path of spirituality. Each day, I am practicing ignoring my mind. Like Mohanji says, I tell myself, “That’s not me/This is not me”, and it helps.

So whenever my mind behaves crazy, I gently pull back to my breath. Sometimes, my mind plays my favorite songs in the background when the meditation asks us to be in silence, or I suddenly get heaps of visions about the past and future, which I cannot control. Sometimes I feel guilty that I am not doing the meditation the right way, or I am unable to follow instructions; pain in my legs/back that is very distracting, making me unable to focus on the meditation, etc.

Each day of the 41 days was a new experience for me. Most importantly, the intentions we are guided to put before the meditation used to work wonders after the sessions. We were guided very gently towards those intentions – to drop off, to shed away, to cut the unnecessary cords that were preventing us from going forward. Some of the intentions were: no comparisons, forgiving, surrendering to the higher intelligence, having gratitude, contemplating on Guru’s messages, staying connected to Guru, living in the present, having faith, patience, selfless service, unconditional love, not wasting our time on gossiping, ownership, not having expectations etc.

During the session on the day of Guru Poornima, it was mentioned that the whole Guru Mandala (all the Masters in the Tradition) was present to give us the necessary protection and the energy to let go of all that was not required in our journey anymore. I clearly felt the intensity and presence of the Masters, helping me become calmer (at least for a few moments of thoughtless state). I happily and eagerly sat for some more time even after finishing the meditation.

That is when I could deeply connect to my Self (for a moment). I got some visions that looked like Shirdi Sai Baba, calling people to bring the Big Key (kind of a thing) to help open the door of my heart. From that moment, I have been getting guidance from within (intuitions). When I experience this, or when a wish comes true through someone, I am reminded of how Mohanji in one of his videos said, “I operate through all (different mediums) the forms of the universe around you, if you stay connected to me (My Self).” This realization was a moment of great happiness for me that my Guru is taking care of me like a mother. I feel as if Sripada Srivallabha himself is coming in the form of my Guru Mohanji. From then onwards, whenever I sit for meditation (and connect with my heart/Guru/favorite God), I smile spontaneously with a sense of total satisfaction from my heart as if I have come home.

During the last five days (towards the end of the 41 days), I started to experience this strange thing that if someone asked me a question or asked me to translate anything, the words just poured from me as if it wasn’t I who was doing the talking. All the words that came from my mouth were very precise and came with confidence. Showering blessings to everyone and everything (as part of Power of Purity) became very easy with the everyday practice of this powerful meditation.

I would also like to share that I was graced with a vision of Lahiri Mahasaya (one of the direct disciples of Mahavatar Babaji) and while I was in that state of mind, I assumed the sitting position of Mahavatar Babaji as shown in the picture below. This happened in the last five days during POP meditation.

Left-Mahavatar Babaji; Right-Lahiri Mahasaya

Suddenly it felt as if Lahiri Mahasaya was talking to me through the medium of the book “Autobiography of a Yogi – By Paramahamsa Yogananda” (a book which I had considered reading but couldn’t make it past the first page, so I set it aside). After the meditation, I happened to open a chapter in the book in a half-meditative state and got a message specific to my soul’s urge – the request to make me more aware.

Also, another message from him was 108 pieces of advice by Lahiri Mahasaya (can be found online). All these happened because of the grace of Guru Mohanji and Sripada.

Key takeaways from the 41-day meditation:

  1. I understood and experienced that doing meditation as a routine, especially the pranayama (breathing exercises) part, helps in curing certain bodily ailments. The air that travels through our body while practicing pranayama, fills and pushes every odd place thus keeping you in a good posture (like when a balloon pumped in with air, expands and becomes taut)
  2. Prior to this 41-day program, my shoulders and back caused severe pain if I tried to keep my spine straight (a health issue from my first pregnancy). After the practice of the breathing exercises (pranayama) day-by-day, I found that I could keep my spine erect all the time effortlessly, thus helping me be in a good posture.
  3. Being humble and staying positive became second nature. Always thinking and intending good for everyone and everything, brought out the gratitude in me. Divine grace removed the blockages in chakras over a period and ultimately leading to alignment of the shat (6) chakras. Also improved awareness in everything.
  4. Blessing everyone, and everything was effortless.
  5. Learning to ignore the mind is something that I continue to practice every day.
  6. Last but not the least, I now know that Mohanji is listening to me and taking care of me all the time.

Stay connected to your own Self, stay connected to your dear God, stay connected to your Guru.

The art of forgiving

By Rekha Murali, India

Since childhood, I have often heard these phrases, “To err is human, to forgive divine and yet another one, “Forgive and forget”. Pondering on these two statements, I felt that I could forgive but never forget. It seemed simple. The minute an incident of the past came to my mind, the person who did it to me appeared in my inner eye along with the situation. So, I felt I could never forget.

Recently, there were a few incidents that hurt and saddened me, causing immense stress, disappointments, upheaval, sadness, anger etc. You name the emotion, and I felt all that. I felt it was the end. It felt as though things would never lookup. I would die a lonely, sad soul. All that changed through something that Mohanji did and as usual, ‘He walked with me!’

I heard about the Forgiveness Process that my Guru Mohanji had given to the world. Even then, my first thought which I jokingly shared with someone was, I am prepared to do anything as an Acharya, but I am not ready to forgive. The pain and wounds were fresh, and I felt it was not easy. It was indeed my mind fooling me.

As an Acharya, what I had learnt and knew deep within was that I had to forgive and move on. Mohanji always said, “Forgiveness leads to freedom.”

Slowly with all my other practices, I realised forgiveness, letting go and moving on towards my purpose was the top priority. Soon, I got a wonderful opportunity to practise the Forgiveness Process that was recorded in Mohanji’s voice. Now, my interest was piqued. Whatever Mohanji did was always for my highest good. I was eager to unhook and forgive each and everything. My heart soon craved for the freedom that Mohanji always spoke about.

Finally, I got to do the process as it was offered to all the Acharyas for a week. I did not want to miss the opportunity and so did it all the seven days, although it is not necessary. Needless to say, I was left speechless and awed.

The first time, it was as though I was in the world of Harry Potter, with Mohanji using a magic wand to remove all the memories from within me that were deeply embedded and dissolve them. What was surprising was that during the process, neither did I remember the people nor the situations. All that I remembered was that I had gone through varied emotions such as anger, hatred, jealousy, guilt, regrets and so on. I felt unappreciated and betrayed. Being a perfectionist, whatever I did was never good enough. So, a sense of unworthiness too seemed to linger.

As Mohanji guided me lovingly through the process in a soothing voice, I was able to unburden myself and soar high for a few minutes with him. I understood with clarity the purpose I was born for, and I visualised my Master holding my hand and guiding me forward, leaving all the unwanted impressions, patterns, and karma behind. As we soared higher and higher, he gently sent me ahead and stayed behind to guide other souls lovingly. This really showed the liberated existence of a Master.

This happened on most of the days that I did the process. The whole process would start with bouts of crying, and my heart would feel so heavy each time, I felt it would burst. I have never ever cried like this before. Soon it would cease, and a feeling of lightness would cover me. I would then follow Mohanji faithfully on my journey.

This entire process of forgiveness showed me my purpose. I realised my purpose is to serve the world with unconditional love, kindness and compassion. This made me so free and accepting of my situation in life.

Later, thinking about the process, I realised that this Forgiveness Process was not an ordinary, guided process. With each word, the Master was working on me. He was operating from a different frequency, and all that I was expected to do was follow the instructions. As usual, he did his job. He cleared layers of muck that I’d collected over lifetimes. Another strange thing was that although I got to do the process, even if I was delayed and didn’t do it at the same time every day, I’d start feeling the emotions exactly at that time.

I was under the impression that it would be easy and with a session or two, I’d be fine. But I can tell you that this process is such a precious gift, it continues to keep you in awareness and helps you to let go of the situations that you may come across in your day to day life. It is life-transforming, indeed!

Not only that, I suddenly realised that what I was holding on to, playing the victim and thinking I could never forgive disappeared. I was able to accept the situations and move on. How did that happen? As layers of impressions were getting cleared, I was able to accept myself unconditionally with my weaknesses and strengths and totally forgive myself. Once I accepted myself, forgave myself, it was automatically reflected on the outside; the forgiveness of others, the situations and the surroundings became easy.

The pain, the scars of the situation and the people who caused it did not matter because, with Mohanji’s guidance, I chose freedom, I chose acceptance of myself, I chose to love myself, and I chose the path of liberation.

My encounter with Mohanji

By Vanita Bunwaree, Mauritius

It all started in April 2020 during the confinement period due to Covid-19. I went to many Masters till 2009; although I was practising, I did not seem to evolve on the spiritual path and I was getting quite frustrated. Sometime back in December in 2019, an old friend kept talking about Shirdi Sai and the experiences he encountered, but I just listened casually.

Mohanji and Sai

In March 2020, after the lockdown was announced, I thought why not read a bit on Shirdi Sai and I google-searched him and his teachings. I came across the famous and holy book Sai Satcharitra, which I asked my friend to lend me to read. Reading through the pages, I started developing faith in Baba. I started doing Baba’s naam jaap and asked him to give me his darshan. I was also watching Youtube videos on Sai Baba devotees and came across Mohanji’s experiences with Baba.

One night during my meditation, I kept trying hard to see Baba’s face but instead saw Mohanji’s face. Again, I tried to see Baba but saw Mohanji and I felt a strong connection especially on my forehead region. Days later, again in meditation, I saw Mohanji and felt my breath going up and down the spine. Then I understood that Shirdi Sai wanted me to connect to Mohanji. From that time, I started reading everything on Mohanji, his experiences, his blogs, his meditations. I went through all Mohanji’s pages on Facebook and whatever the country, I followed the FB pages.

mohanji3

I felt I needed support as I was all alone and I knew no one in my country who was connected to Mohanji. I did send messages to a person in my country but there was no reply. I started to practice Power of Purity (POP) and 360 degrees meditations. While reading about the Mai-Tri method, I felt I needed to do it. The occasion appeared in May when I saw an invitation for group Mai-Tri with Preeti Duggal. I enrolled and went through the transformative process. The next day I called Acharya Preeti and again related to her my experience of coming across Mohanji and told her, “Please, when you meet Mohanji give him all my love.” In my mind, I thought that I have never met Mohanji physically, will he know I exist? I wanted to see/hear from Mohanji.

THE FORGIVENESS BOOT CAMP

Few days after the Mai-Tri session while scrolling through pages of Mohanji, I came across the invitation for ‘The Power of Forgiveness’ boot camp. I eagerly enrolled and we got the instructions for the boot camp day by day. It was such a well-designed programme with meditations that were well spaced, the reading part for each day, the selfless seva (service) to animals, and the Mai-Tri sessions done out of so much love.

The first day, I had a few queries and that is when I came across this beautiful and selfless person, Mohanji Acharya Lakshmi. I went through this boot camp with all her support and love. Some days, I felt strong emotions surfacing with lots of energy that I could not sleep and she kept guiding me. The 5-speed breathing told by Lakshmi had instant effects. Immediately, I could feel a change in the body’s vibrations. During the boot camp, my thoughts kept drifting to Mahavatar Babaji and I could see his image clearly in my mind. I even related this to Lakshmi as I thought my mind might be playing tricks but she told me if the thought is on Babaji, it means that I am connected to him. I realised that she was sent by Mohanji to guide me.

maitri

On the last day of the camp, she told me that Swamiji will do a live session of Mai-Tri on zoom. Initially, I thought I would do that the next day as the time in my country would be 9 pm and my mind was telling me to postpone. Then by afternoon, something told me to go through it. I went through the Mai-Tri process which was conducted by Swami Mohana Bhaktananda Bharati. As he guided us through the intense mantras of different deities and gurus, I felt intense energy and a lot of emotions came up. Swamiji kept telling us to release in whatever way; screaming, crying, shouting, even cursing, if we feel like releasing. I went through all these processes and at the end of the process, I felt much lighter.

The next day, I felt a lot of anger and irritation surfacing but Lakshmi reassured me that things were getting released. That day, I sent a message to Swamiji to thank him for the Mai-Tri session and I was overwhelmed when he replied to my message by saying, “All this happened due to your devotion and love and you have a special place in Mohanji’s heart and he is sending a bit of extra love to you.” It was as if through Swamiji, I got the answer to the message I sent through Preeti Duggal on sending my love to Mohanji.

The next day, after boot camp, I asked Lakshmi if Swamiji has written or said anything about his transformation with Mohanji or if there was any blog that he had written and if he was a ‘normal person’ before he became a Swamiji. After some minutes she told me, “You are lucky! Tonight, he will talk on his transformation on Mohanji page.” Listening to Swamiji gave me immense faith and conviction that for every person irrespective of his past weaknesses, we can all be transformed.

This boot camp has indeed been very special and full of love. I was guided step by step by Mohanji through Acharya Lakshmi and other Acharyas.

Power of Purity – 41 days

POP

Soon after, I sent a mail concerning a query I had in meditation to Mohanji Acharyas. At the same time, the 41 days of PoP was being launched and they asked me to join. I did join in and the energy field I experienced was very different from the PoP which I practice when I am alone. I felt an intense silence that was growing after about 7 days of practice.

During that period, something strange happened. I asked Baba when he would give me his darshan. That day, I invited a friend of mine to come home the next day at 3 pm. He casually said he had a surprise for me. At first, I thought it was a material item but later that night, I had a strong thought in my mind where I heard Baba saying that he will come to my house tomorrow. At the same time, it occurred to me that the surprise was about Baba. I told my friend, “Tell me, the surprise is Baba, right?” He was taken aback and said, “How did you know?” He also added that before I told him to come to my house, the night before, he ordered Baba’s photos and the shop told him they would be ready at the same time and day I asked him to come to my house. I was filled with joy understanding Baba’s grace and I remembered the story in the Sai Satcharitra where Baba gave his darshan through his photo to a devotee.

I can only say that I feel blessed and grateful that in a short period, I have been offered so many opportunities by the grace of Masters of the Tradition to accelerate my growth and evolution on the spiritual path.

Kalpataru Series – Shaktipat, a wish fulfilled

Shakitpat

By Prajakta Sonawane, India.

I work as a preschool teacher. I wish to share an experience which is still so surprising for me, but at the same time, I feel blessed by the grace of my Guru Sai Baba.

About 4-5 months ago, I came across a channel named ‘Sai Baba’s Devotee Speaks’ where Sai Baba’s experiences are shared by his devotees. I happened to watch the videos almost daily and one day I came across Mohanji’s videos. I was quite happy and kept watching them again and again.

One fine day, I thought of getting connected to Mohanji through some source, a website, or through an email. During this time, I got to know many programs that are run by Mohanji Foundation and it started getting me more into knowing Mohanji and his programs. I came in contact with Padmaja ji whom I pay gratitude for bringing me closer to Mohanji’s teachings. She helped and guided me over a phone call. She also forwarded me Kirti Khandelwal’s number who happens to be from the same place where I presently reside.

Kirti ji always cleared my doubts and helped me move forward with positivity. She forwarded me the links where I got to know about Mohanji’s official page, and many more informative articles. I remember reading a post about a person who shared her experiences which was quite motivating for new people like me. I also read that we don’t have to be physically present in front of Mohanji, we just have to think from our hearts and he listens to us. For me, it was like an experiment that I thought I will try for myself. As humans, we always keep looking for validations and I was no exception.

Mohanji Sai

That day, after reading the article, I just closed my eyes and said, “Mohanji, I don’t know what I need, I just want to know that I am looked after and I wish to receive your blessings. Also, I would like to receive Shaktipat from you. I don’t know if I can meet you personally ever, but I really wish to have your hand on my head.” That was it. I opened my eyes and became busy with my daily chores, school, and family. As usual, I would talk to Sai Baba daily, thanking him, and kept reading the Sai Satcharita.

One night Kirti ji forwarded me a link which mentioned Devi Mohan will be going live on social media and Kirti ji asked me to join the live session. On that same day, I was having a general conversation with Sai Baba; I was sharing my worries with him as I was a little disturbed and feeling low. I thought I wouldn’t be able to join the session as my 5-year-old child kept playing around and it was enough to break my concentration. So, I was wondering if I should join or not as I did not want to leave the session halfway or get distracted during it. Something triggered in me and I decided to give it a try. Before the session started, I prayed to Baba and Mohanji and asked them to help me join the session and complete it without any disturbances.

The session started, and I was still having lots of unwanted thoughts and the fear that my child would start disturbing me soon. To my surprise, the time passed and I was able to be present for the complete session of 35-40 minutes. During the session, my eyes were closed and I was just following the instructions given. A point came where I saw myself very tiny and in front of me was Mohanji, appearing immense. He was bending down slightly with his hand touching my head and thumb on my forehead. All I could see was Mohanji’s smiling face and shining white light surrounding us. It lasted for some time. That experience was simply amazing, and I just felt so very positive and happy.

hand

After I shared my experience with Kirti ji, I came to know that I was blessed by Mohanji and he had given me Shaktipat. Since that day, I am still in that phase where I keep recollecting the same image that I saw during the live session and just feel happy. Later on, I remembered my wish that I had made some months back and realised that it’s been beautifully fulfilled.

I am very grateful to Sai Baba, Mohanji, and all the people who were a part of this whole experience. I have no words to express my gratitude. I feel very blessed.

From imprisonment to a life of purpose

Mohanji2

By Restituto Oqeundo, Philippines

Translated by Inigo Jesus Conlu

When I was sentenced and sent to prison, I was extremely scared. In my first week there, I was made to sleep on the floor. What made it worse was being next to a stinking bathroom where I could not sleep because everyone was passing by to get to the toilet. The only time I could rest and sleep was when all the inmates were already asleep. I can never forget that during my first few days, I was bitten by a cockroach and I really suffered a lot. There was no one that I could ask for help. I got sick because of the heat and congestion but nobody ever helped me. No one would take care of me inside the prison cell. I also suffered from separation anxiety, missing my wife and my son BJ. There was a group who used to visit us and sing prayers. When this group came and prayed, I could not control my tears as I felt remorse.

prsion 5
(L to R) Wee, Resty, Inigo and BJ

When my son BJ visited, he told me that the mother of his best friend (Inigo) visits this prison monthly to feed the inmates and conduct yoga and meditation. I had no idea which group she belonged to. So every time we had a visitor, I looked forward to meeting her. That’s why I pushed myself to attend every programme and participated in it. Then in one visit, I finally recognised someone I knew and she was Irene. She mentioned that a lady named Wee was looking for me. I later found out that she is the mother of Inigo. I was overwhelmed with shame knowing that Wee knew what I had done to my family, especially to my son BJ. But she never saw me as a bad person, showing only kindness and a desire to really help. During our yoga and meditation sessions, my fellow inmates and I had the time to reflect and share happiness. It was as if all our discomforts, sufferings and pains were put aside, and we even forgot our problems in those moments. Since then, every last Monday of the month, I would look forward to the meditation group to come and have the session with us, because it was not only me who was excited but also my fellow inmates.

What really made me change was when Wee gave me the responsibility to look after the free library that the group placed inside the prison. This made me realise that there are people who still value me as a person and would still show their love and trust in me. And as the days went by, I started to realise the difficulty of living with the absence of my family and peers. But this made me look within, and I found myself learning how to pray and seek a closer relationship with Jesus. There were so many hindrances to all my hearings which I never saw as something negative but used them to build hope and strength in me.

Then in one of the visits of the group, Wee introduced to all of us her meditation teacher, and she even left his picture with me when they left. Little did I know that the man in the picture would change my life forever! The man in the picture as said by Wee was miraculous Mohanji. Wee explained that Mohanji was not a God. She told me that Mohanji was a man who has given himself to help the world, to bring out the goodness in the world and create changes through meditation, yoga and selfless service. She said that Mohanji sends love, help, and guidance to those who seek. It made me curious. So I asked Wee more about Mohanji and she would tell me that whenever I feel down with life I could talk to Mohanji and ask for guidance because he always listens. Even some of my inmates asked me about him, so I just shared with them who Mohanji was as explained by Wee.

Mohanji bless

From that day on, I placed his picture beside Mama Mary and Jesus and started the practice of praying and silencing the mind. Every night, I would pray to Jesus and talk to Mohanji. I always asked for guidance and forgiveness and a second chance to renew my life. As the days, weeks, and months went by, I was still waiting for the dream of getting out of the prison, and despite the delays, I never lost hope. I also promised Wee that once I get out, I will join her group to help and inspire others. As I practised meditation, it made me calm and relaxed, removing all the discomforts felt inside. Sometimes I would just fall asleep but be conscious in my body. I felt happier even in my situation, I also felt acceptance of my time there. I started feeling inner peace even on hot days or lonely nights inside the cell.

Jesus

It was already a year and a half and it felt like I had been there forever. Then on one random day, the warden called me and asked me to come to his office. He informed me that my name was on the list of inmates who will have a hearing the next day. I was surprised to know this as I was not expecting this news at that time. Lo and behold, on that hearing I was finally allowed to be released and be under probation for a year, for using drugs. It felt like a miracle but then I realised that the universe was working for me to have a new life. The chance that Wee’s group gave me helped me to learn the values of self-love and self-worth. I realised that if others can see value in me, I could also do it. I now know that life should be lived with a purpose and not just wasting it with things that will be harmful to me and others as well.

The day arrived when I was finally going to step out of prison. So many inmates were asking for my clothes and other belongings and I decided to leave everything with them except for my pillow and the picture of Mohanji. As I left the place, I hoped and prayed that my inmates would look at me as a symbol of hope for them. I am a free man now, the world outside welcomed me with a bright sunny day. My son had a big smile on his face as he welcomed me, waiting for me outside. Up to this day, I still talk to Mohanji as if he is there in front of me, still asking his guidance every day, as I continue serving people through the Mohanji Philippines group lead by Wee, which I am now a part of.

Love and gratitude

Shree Mohanji

Enjoy reading these three beautiful expressions of gratitude from our Mohanji family members. Mohanji says his presence is always with us, but we are not always aware of it. These experiences show us yet again that when the yearning is true, he makes sure that his love and grace is felt by us.

Jameela Jeyaraj, India

When I dived into an abyss of darkness and sadness a year back, my friend Mala insisted that I read about Mohanji and gifted me the Power of Purity book.  One look into the extremely powerful eyes of Mohanji on the cover of the book, and time just stood still.

While reading the book, curiously I tried out the Power of Purity meditation, and amazingly, Mohanji’s divine soulful voice transported me into a world of absolute silence and peace.  I love the meditation so much, I practice it often. Through the meditation, I have learned to bless all, people I love and those whom I thought I hated.

Through the Power of Purity meditation, I have learned to evolve to a higher frequency. It also kindles me into the path of spiritualism. Today, I have only expressions of gratitude and gratefulness to my greatest Master, Mohanji.  Without doubt, I am so blessed. I place my koti pranams at Mohanji’s lotus feet.

“Gratitude.Grace. Growth. They are all related and interconnected. Gratitude ensures Grace. Grace ensures Growth. These three aspects deliver LOVE, LIFE and GODLINESS in us.” – Mohanji

On Thursday, April 9 2020, I was sitting with my tablet muted ready to begin the morning’s 7 am chanting with Eric and Cini, here in Victoria. Sara Sydney joined us this morning.

My phone was sitting on my left, a foot or more away, face up black screen when I saw the screen flash. I had not touched it since signing into the Zoom session. What appeared was a photo of Mohanji and Sai Baba. Two photos superimposed on each other.

Sai was in profile facing right in the foreground. Mohanji was in the background facing forward. They were both wearing headscarves of deep blue and the background was a deeper blue, almost purple.

It stayed on my screen but was gone when we finished the Gayatri Mantra chanting and I cannot find it anywhere in my history on the phone.

What I do have is a deep sense of peace and well-being as it should be with the world, and a strong heart presence of both Mohanji and Sai in my life, with us as we chanted. The beautifully vivid image is stored in my heart.

mohanji-and-sai

Jai Mohanji! Jai Sai Baba! With love, awe, and gratitude.

Pravin Thakkar, UK

I am always with you – these are the words we hear time and again from our beloved Mohanji. It was my 70th birthday on the 17th of November. During the whole day, I felt that I really needed to talk to Mohanji and receive his blessings, but for some reason I did not have the courage to either message him or call him.

On the 19th, I read on the Mohanji UK Facebook page that there had been a Mohanji Acharya programme held on the 17th, on the same day as my milestone birthday. It was at the request of a Mohanji family member who wanted to celebrate her birthday and also wanted her friends and relatives to experience Mohanji’s presence and energy through the Acharya programme. At the cake cutting ceremony, Mohanji Acharya Subhasree played a recorded voice message from Mohanji, blessing this lady on her birthday.

I read this on Tuesday night before I went to sleep. Early Wednesday morning, I had a beautiful experience. I am not sure whether I was in a dream state or awake, but Mohanji was speaking to me, and telling me that on my birthday he called me many times to bless me but did not get reply on my mobile phone, neither could he leave a voice message for me with a blessing (I had blocked my voice message). My wish to have Mohanji’s blessings was fulfilled so beautifully.

Once again, I am reminding myself of the need for constantly becoming aware of the countless little pesky flaws in my nature that stand in the way of making my inner aspirations more sincere, true, and complete.

I feel immensely grateful to our ever compassionate Father, Mohanji. My humble prostrations at your lotus feet.

gratitude1
