Surrender and let go

The experience of waiting to expect good news in a couple’s life nowadays is nerve-wracking. Everybody has a story and I am no different in that respect. This is the divine energy that flows within me and my husband in the journey of just two and a half months with Mohanji.

I am from Chandigarh. I have a doctorate in literature and my husband is in the army, hence currently in Pune for the last six months. I had seen Mohanji’s framed photo once at my senior colleague’s office. Before I could ask her about him, she had left the room. One other morning, I visited my gynaecologist Col. (Dr.) Nikita for a check-up as I was undergoing fertility treatment. There I saw Mohanji’s photo again, in her office, placed on a high pedestal. I used to see him daily and bow my head to pay my respects but never could gather the courage to bring up the topic of Mohanji with my doctor during the consultations.

Coming back to my follow up scans, the results of the tests weren’t satisfactory.  So this time, before I could take leave from her office, I asked reluctantly about Mohanji’s photo on the shelf and his divine eyes which seemed to be all around us. That was the day Dr. Nikita showed me the path of purity, faith, and surrender to our Mohanji.  Wasn’t this reason enough to thank my doctor who selflessly guided me to chant and pray to Mohanji for the betterment of my health?  And I always felt that sometimes, against all odds, and against all logic, we still hope.

During the strict lockdown, a few months back, I was missing my own father dearly, who passed away three years back. And soon after my treatment with Dr. Nikita restarted, through her benevolent nature, I got the opportunity to get connected to Mohanji. Shukran (gratitude) to our beloved Mohanji, for blessing me and helping me in my life by being someone whom I can bank upon like my own heavenly Father.

As a result, my subsequent scans slowly and gradually started getting better. A few months back, my egg quality and quantity were not at all up to the mark. But due to Dr. Nikita’s faith and Mohanji’s grace, the quality and the number both increased. We are simple people and for me and my husband, it was a miracle in my case. I was overjoyed and relieved to the point of tears. The cycle culminated in the retrieval of 14 eggs. What was more impressive was that Dr. Nikita never gave up on me. Her un-stinted support and camaraderie sailed me through this emotional journey of treatment. I am incredibly grateful to her and will always be in my life.

Along with her, throughout my treatment, I walked on the path of faith and surrender to Mohanji.  Also, as suggested by her, I joined the 41 days of the Power of Purity Meditation program. That was more than a program. It transformed me inside out; my thoughts and views towards others changed, and most importantly cleansing within me happened, which we often forget to do.  Prayers work and it’s powerful. I could hear Mohanji saying to me, that he is working on my behalf when I pray to him. Isn’t it pure, divine, and unconditional love?

Once we have dared to take the plunge, very soon we realise there is nothing better than surrendering to Mohanji. I have taken a pledge to serve Mohanji throughout my life, till my last breath.

Kalpataru series – A call from the heart

My journey with Mohanji seems pretty new to me or if I rephrase it, it appears pretty new to my conscious mind. I have been a Sai Baba devotee for a long time. In my previous experience, I have mentioned how Baba guided me to Mohanji. Today I am going to write about another experience. Sanjay Bhaiya (brother) had introduced me to the Power of Purity meditation a few months ago. I tried doing it a few times, but never felt satisfied. A few days back I came to know about the Power of Purity (PoP) group meditation and something inside me inspired me to be a part of it. I heard people saying group meditations are very powerful, it is like lifting a log together versus one person lifting it and now from my experience, I can say all those beautiful people were right. I am only halfway through 41 days of PoP meditation, but I feel what people call bliss!

 

One day after my meditation, I was sitting in my mandir (altar) talking to Baba and Mohanji. I just want to mention here that I came to Sathya Sai Baba’s fold in 1999 and my journey to Shirdi Sai Baba started from there. So, when I was talking, a thought just crossed my mind, I said, “Mohanji, I am not sure if my prayers reach you but I am going to say this anyway. When Sathya Sai Baba took me into his fold, I met him physically only twice. I didn’t put in the effort to meet him, people from all around the world tried, but I didn’t. Before I could realize this, he left his mortal coil. Now that I have got a second chance, I don’t want to repeat this. You know that I can’t make the effort, but from my heart, I want to be near you. I don’t know when you will come to Canada and when I will be able to meet you. I wish that when you come, you will stay at my home with me. I know you say that a devotee should not come to you with desires. This is a wish and if you can grant it I am happy, if not I am still happy.” Our conversation finished here.

Now, see Mohanji’s leela. Sanjay Bhaiya texted me that he wanted to say something. He called and said, “I have this feeling in my heart that you should have Mohanji’s Padukas at your place.” Foolish me, I couldn’t recognize the meaning of this. I enquired with Bhayia about how to do Paduka seva? He said, “Nothing, you just have them in your house.” Here comes another significant line out of Bhaiya’s mouth. He said, “Having Padukas means having Mohanji in your home!” That line lightened the bulb, oh my gosh, this is Mohanji answering my very prayer that I did in the morning! How wonderfully Mohanji bestowed my inner desire. I felt very grateful! Bhaiya said we will do so on Guru Poornima, July 5th. I didn’t say anything but it seemed too far.

Mohanji didn’t stop at this, on the same night he appeared in my dream and asked me, “How are you feeling?” I said with a smile, “You know how I am feeling!” He smiled and asked again, “Tell me how you are feeling?” I said, “I am very, very happy!” This was the end of my dream. I communicated this to Sanjay Bhaiya. Now, as eager as I was to have him with me, so was Mohanji to come home. Sanjay Bhaiya called and said, “You can have the Padukas on this Thursday, June 18th as it is Baba’s day or you can have them on Sunday 21st June. I couldn’t wait, I agreed for Thursday.

On Thursday morning, I was getting Baba ready; I was deciding a dress for Baba’s idol. I felt like putting pink but I decided to put yellow since it was Thursday and just in my mind I was laughing with Baba, I said, “Baba, you should wear pink today when I come to see you in the mandir for receiving the Padukas, and then again I said, “Ok, you can wear yellow or pink it’s fine with me, you look beautiful in every dress!” In the evening when I reached the mandir, Baba was wearing a yellow dress, and now about the pink, the Padukas I was bestowed with are pink in color! Such is Baba’s and Mohanji’s leelas. What a beautiful fulfillment of even the slightest bhav filled (heartfelt) desire.

Koti koti pranams at the lotus feet of Baba Sai and Guru Mohanji! May his grace always shower on all of us and may we reach our final abode with Guru’s guidance at rocket speed!

Our heart is not always in our control. There are certain things that we are never satisfied with. One such thing is the desire to be in the physical presence of Mohanji even if it is only for a fleeting second. I am sure most of us can relate to this and I am no exception. I did have two wonderful days in his presence when he came to Chennai. Two months later, here I was craving to meet him again. Although the heart yearned, I felt there was no chance. But Mohanji, who knows everything, who is pure consciousness, fulfilled this heartfelt desire. It was not just about meeting him but needing that beautiful hug from him.

29th November 2019, is etched in my memory as I got that spontaneous hug from Mohanji. The day started as usual and by evening I was busy with my routine, but a call from Radha Shyam at about 6:45 pm changed everything. Her excited but doubtful voice conveyed that Mohanji would be at the airport for a few minutes to catch a flight which was scheduled to leave at 9:00 pm. She hesitatingly asked if we would be able to make it to the airport.

My dull and boring evening suddenly became charged and within 30 minutes and two more phone calls of planning, we were on our way in a cab along with Radha’s husband Srinivas! The atmosphere was tense as the traffic was heavy due to the peak hour and we had a very casual and slow driver who wanted to discuss everything under the sun. I started repeating the Mohanji Gayatri and prayed to him that having made us come this far, he should give us his darshan too.

Almost an hour later, we edged closer to the airport. In the meantime, luckily I was able to get in touch with Madhu for his flight details. We then googled to know the terminal and excitedly reached the place. To our joy, we found that his flight was delayed by half an hour but there was no sign of Mohanji. Mohanji was also delayed as the traffic was heavy. So now you know why the flight was delayed!

Soon, within 10 minutes, we saw a car speeding by and Madhu was frantically waving and pointing in the opposite direction. I turned around and my eyes fell on a man walking casually with a beaming smile in jeans and a t-shirt. I just shouted over my shoulder to the others that Mohanji is here, and ran into his outstretched arms. Mohanji gave me a long hug that I had been waiting for. All that I could utter in that second was “Oh, My God!” resting my head on his shoulder.

I just felt immense happiness, secure that I was in a safe place completely protected and blessed. Nothing else mattered.

I need to say one thing here. Each time I met Mohanji, it was I who always asked for a hug and this was the first time that it came from him spontaneously.

The happiness was written all over my face as I stayed by his side watching him greet others. The others spoke to him and even asked him some questions.

Revathy had also come with her children to seek blessings along with a special sweet. He asked me to open it and after tasting it, he returned the box of sweets to us. We received our prasad too. Within a short span of 10 minutes, we even managed to click pictures. All too soon, Mohanji had to leave and we still managed to wait there looking through the glass doors. As he was entering, I just mentioned to Mohanji that his flight has been delayed, to which he replied with an all-knowing smile, “Yes, it had to be delayed by a few minutes only as we were caught traffic.”

We watched Mohanji getting the check-in done and I blurted out, “Mohanji, please turn around and wave to us.” As though on cue, he turned around and waved with a broad smile on his face and then moved away from our sight. Our cups were overflowing.

Only on reaching home and reliving these precious moments, did I realise the impact of the whole incident. The all-pervasive, omnipresent Mohanji in his compassion and love had orchestrated the whole thing and enabled us to meet him and filled us with happiness and positive energy. The last-minute notice of Mohanji’s arrival, the traffic delays and finally the delay of the flight were not coincidences. If the flight had been on time, we would not have been able to meet him.

As I thank Mohanji in immense gratitude, I realise that he gave us this opportunity to only energise us. I had been communicating with him every day mentally, thanking him and sharing with him everything, and had also during my ramblings told him how a hug from him would make a world of a difference. All that I can do is watch in awe as he fulfils every prayer. I do not understand the intricate details and ways in which he takes care of each of us, but beginning to see the big picture. I don’t understand what I have done to deserve this, but I feel so blessed with the love and the grace that he showers on me. Thank you Mohanji!

Dreams of reality

A dream or not a dream!

Jai Mohanji!

I would like to share with you an amazing experience that happened recently.

One of Mohanji’s devotees, Harmeet, messaged me that her friend had hurt her toe against the bed and that her condition was really bad. She asked me to pray for her friend and to send healing prayer. As I am not into healing, I just closed my eyes for two minutes and prayed to Sai Baba and Mohanji. I just said, “I don’t know anything, I can only pray in this situation. This is the best thing that I could do for her. She’s in pain right now. So be with her.” After this, there was nothing in my mind. The next morning I was watching a video sent by someone about Shirdi Sai Baba. The message in the video was that without a guru, you can’t reach Baba Sai. So I listened to that video and I had a nap.

I had a dream. In that dream, I saw Mohanji sitting in front of me and I could see that a satsang was happening. Mila was playing around and so many activities were taking place in the form of a satsang. Mohanji was sitting in the center, and people were singing bhajans. After some time, I saw Mohanji sitting near me and I was pressing his feet. This seemed so real, that even now I can feel his feet. I was pressing his feet and suddenly he showed his two toes to me, which were totally swollen and covered in blood. I asked Mohanji what it was as I was not happy to see him in this condition. Mohanji shared that he had taken on a devotee’s pain and that only I would be able to heal this. I was surprised as to why Mohanji was saying, “Only you’re going to heal this!” I’m not a healer. I’m nothing actually, I’m a big zero. Soon this dream got over. On waking up from the dream, I was thinking, “What is this Mohanji, I didn’t understand this dream?”

Then I started with my daily routine activities. Around two o’clock in the afternoon, I just sat in my puja room. Suddenly this revelation came to my mind. Oh my God! Mohanji had taken on himself the pain of the lady for whom I’d prayed yesterday. So I immediately called Harmeet who had asked me to pray for this lady. Harmeet had sent me the picture of one toe that was hurt the previous day. I didn’t know that two of her toes were hurt. So when I called Harmeet, she told me, “Di, her two toes are much better now and the doctors having ruled out a fracture, have tied her two toes together.”

I was taken aback! Mohanji had also shown me two toes. This is what he had done. I don’t have words to express as this is how a Master works.

 

Mohanji’s affirmation for protection

Being a part of the recent Mohanji Acharya training in Serbia was a blessing and a privilege. The training was intense and comprehensive with everyone learning so much from Mohanji.

One of the presentations that showed me a glimpse of how Mohanji works beyond the comprehension of my mind was Ivana’s presentation on Mohanji Transformation Method. It really was amazing and made me think of things that I’m not normally aware of. Negative energies and entities exist and can affect us, whether we believe in it or not. As we were leaving the hall, somebody said, have sweet dreams tonight. I laughed and agreed. Then before going to bed, I wished Mina who was sharing a room with me, sweet dreams of Mohanji and golden light and she gently said, “Wish you the same.“

I don’t have dreams very often but had one that night. Mohanji was in a satsang hall and I was somewhere outside the hall doing some work. Suddenly I heard Mohanji say very loudly and sternly so I could hear this outside the hall, “Those who don’t belong here can leave.” Initially, I thought he was referring to someone in the hall. Suddenly I felt something pulling the shawl of my dress. Realising something was not right, I started running towards Mohanji and the hall, calling Mohanji’s name repeatedly. The unseen force that was pulling my clothing was strong, as I was trying to hold on to it. Suddenly I felt Mohanji say, “Let go of it,” as I was running towards him. As I run, the shawl vanishes. Calling his name I woke up, it was a few minutes after midnight. I remembered Mohanji saying negative energies are at their strongest from midnight to 3 am.

Although quite shaken, I realised the power of protection from Mohanji, of connecting to him and chanting his name. I’m guided to say these positive affirmations in my mind.

I’m Mohanji’s beacon of light.

 I belong to the White Tradition.

 I’m here to add value to society.

 I’m filled with love, compassion, and light.

 I’m merged in Mohanji’s golden light.

As I said these repeatedly, I calmed down. I’m eternally grateful for Mohanji’s protection in all states of my existence (waking, dreaming, and deep sleep). I know he’s holding my hands and will never let go, taking care of me with so much love. Just as I started to type this experience to share with the others in the Acharya group (I couldn’t go back to sleep), Sanjay Bhai from Canada shared this picture with me. I really wanted something tangible for comfort and I received a wonderful sign from Mohanji to confirm he’s always there. Thank you Mohanji for the wonderful timing in sending me this beautiful picture of Sai.

Two days later, during the training one morning, Mohanji gave us all the affirmation for protection to chant in the morning, night and when needed. I was amazed to see the similarities between the affirmation and what Mohanji had guided me to say when I woke up from my dream. I am deeply grateful for the love and connection I experience with Mohanji, it’s his grace and blessings that we think of him at all. Dearest Mohanji, I remain in gratitude, humility, and surrender at your feet.

 

Dreams of purpose

During the recent year or two, I have not had such deep yearning to be in Mohanji’s physical presence like I used to when I first met him. I am ecstatic if I can see him in person but if this doesn’t happen, I don’t have any regret or unfulfilled wishes. I feel him with me always.

This time when I left the Acharya training, I was the only one from South Africa who was not staying for the retreat and there was just this tiny part of me that wished I could have stayed. I didn’t give this too much attention because I was more than happy with the time spent with him.

Yesterday around 3 am, I had a vivid dream. I was still in Serbia and I was leaving a remote venue with a few people. We were in a taxi leaving for the airport. I was in the front passenger seat. I know this was Serbia because the driver’s seat was on the left and I sat on the right. Had this been a creation of my subconscious surely the driver’s seat would be on the right like it is in SA (which is what I am used to).

I see Mohanji in white approaching the car, so I exit to give him a seat. He sat in the front passenger seat and I then went to the seat behind him. As I sat, he gripped my left ankle and I was shocked. I told him that he can’t touch my feet as he is my Guru but he said that he was removing something.

The next thing I remember is that I was at the airport. The dream continued with me missing my flight for some reason, paying for new tickets and getting lost. No one would help me.

I feel strongly that he showed me what he prevented me from experiencing had I stayed on longer in Serbia. He clearly also removed something from me during that dream. Maybe it was that tiny desire to stay on longer? He has shown me with this dream that he allowed me to stay for the retreat because I had this dream after the retreat had just ended.

Since returning from the training, I have seen even more tangible signs of how hard he is constantly working on us.

Eternal gratitude at the feet of Mohanji and the Guru Mandala for all they do for us…Protecting us during times when we must go through experiences, removing experiences which can be karmically removed and supporting us unconditionally through it all.

No matter what experiences life may have for me in the future, I have no fear because I know that my Master is already there.

Blessings from the Master

On 5th October 2019, I had a beautiful dream where I saw that I was with Mohanji.

Mohanji was dressed in a white kurta and mundu. I was so excited to be with him. I was just walking behind him. My excitement was like a child who got to see his father after a long gap. Like a bee hovering over the beautiful flower, I was just by Mohanji.

 Mohanji was smiling and looked very happy. Mohanji suddenly turned and looked at me and said “Pramod! By the way, my work on this earth plane has begun. People will soon know my intention and purpose. We have a lot of good things to do before we leave this earth. After the project takes off, it will be on autopilot mode, there will be chosen ones who will steer it. The rest will be taken care of. I will then go into silence.“

 ”But Deva what about me?” I quipped.

“You do not worry, be assured I am always with you. Blessings and keep smiling.“

When I woke up I knew it was a wonderful experience, as I could recap everything very clearly. It was not just a dream to forget. It was a message by Mohanji about his work for everyone on the earth plane, not only for me but for others who love him and also for those who have not met him physically.

Surrendered faith

The following two testimonials are from a Mohanji devotee who wishes to remain anonymous at present. Both stories show us yet again how grace flows when we have love and faith and we surrender to our dearest Guru. 

Prayer miracle

In the first story, the author says, “Recently, my close relative was diagnosed with a heart problem. He has been suffering from blood pressure for many years and was on medication. However, during a recent check-up, the EKG scan was abnormal and he was asked to visit a cardiologist. I was shocked and I prayed to Mohanji and Sai Baba to help him come out of this situation. It was a constant prayer and I even visited Sai temples, offering my prayers and service.

 The day of the visit to the cardiologist arrived and I was very positive as I knew Mohanji always takes care when we totally surrender. I wanted to see the cardiologist myself, so I accompanied him to the doctor’s office. After another scan and a thorough check-up, the cardiologist said that there was nothing to worry and it was a minor issue that could be fixed with diet and exercise. I was mind blown and thanked Mohanji and Sai Baba for everything. This was an eye-opener to me that whenever we totally surrender to Mohanji, he will take care of the situation, even beyond our hopes and prayers.”

“Life has no guarantees, insurance, and assurances. Life is as it happens, in the most unexpected and unpredictable way. All you can maintain within is your Goodness factor, love, kindness, compassion and gratitude. If these are not maintained every moment, only regrets and disappointments will remain within.” Mohanji

 

 Antidote to fatigue

In the second story, the author says, “The following experience has left me speechless. I was having chronic fatigue yesterday. It was so bad that I could hardly get up from my bed. My body was stiff and I couldn’t even walk to the kitchen and had to drag myself there, both mentally and physically. I wasn’t sick, but it was more of tiredness due to routine work and no proper rest. I decided to go for a massage. I called up many centers and checked for appointments. I also called up a few friends to check for the best massage centers around. I usually never go for any massages, but in this desperate situation, I was willing to go.

Suddenly, a thought arose in my mind. I have always seen and believed Mohanji’s energy can solve any problem. There is no doubt about it. We just have to have faith that it will work! I started to chant the Mohanji Gayatri intensely in my mind as I had no energy to chant aloud. I sat on a sofa, closed my eyes and chanted for about 10-15 minutes.

In the beginning, I could feel the energy flow through me slowly. It was a very light feeling and then it flowed all around my body, my legs, my hands and my head. I had my eyes closed and continued chanting, and I began to feel fresh and I could chant faster. At the end of 15 minutes, I was completely normal, in fact, more than normal. I could run around, clean my house, cook lunch and dinner, do my work, visit the library and drive about 30 miles, all with no effort and without any massage. I was taken aback by what happened, but what I realised was that Mohanji has taken over and when we believe in him, he is there for us in whichever way we want him to help us.”

 “Storms of emotions are part of life; everyone’s life. Faith is the pillar. Hold on to it and weather all the storms of life. That is the best way. Perhaps the only way.” Mohanji

Protection at the time of need

It was July 2019. My child who is 2 years and 8 months old was at home as his day-care nursery was closed. My mother-in-law was here with us in Finland for 2 months. She was enjoying the company of our little one while both my husband and I were away at work. One evening we had planned to go shopping and so my husband said that he will come home early. It so happened on the day that my child who usually sleeps for 2 hours in the afternoon would not take even a small nap and soon fell asleep in the early evening hours.

I informed my husband that since the baby was asleep; we should cancel the plan for shopping that day.

Blessings to family through the phone

My husband who is an entrepreneur has a small office space in one of the shared office buildings. He informed me that he was supposed to move the office to another room in the same building, and he will continue his shifting since we were not going out. After around 3 hours, I called him to know when he was coming back home, and he informed me that he had a lot of boxes to dispose of in the garbage. He will be going down to throw them in the garbage room, and then will leave for home. The drive back home is around 20 minutes. So I was just getting the dinner ready.

Around more than 1.5 hours passed since I had made the call, and I thought to call him back and check where he was. To my dismay, he did not pick up the call. I tried a couple of times with some intervals but each time it went to his voicemail. Now I was tensed. In such situations, usually, the mind thinks negatively. Then I remembered Mohanji and Sai Baba and a thought in my mind said, when Baba and Mohanji are with me, nothing wrong can happen. I just bowed down to the Masters and in 5 minutes called him again.

This time to my surprise and by the grace of the Gurus, he picked up the call. His voice was a bit tensed. He informed me that when he went down to throw away the garbage, he forgot his phone on the desk. He went to throw the garbage which was a room inside the same building. While he was coming out of that room, it was locked and he was unable to open it with his access key. There was no other way to come out and he was now worried as it was late, no one was there in the office building, and his phone was not with him. The only way was to wait the whole night in that room and come out only when someone else opened it from the outside. But soon, someone opened the door, it was the office cleaner. He said that he saw my husband coming down and since his room was open and he was not seen anywhere, he just came to check here, if everything was fine.

After hearing this, I was in tears and thanked Mohanji and Baba Sai. This was no more than a miracle. How an unknown cleaner comes as an angel to rescue him. There was no way, I would have guessed that he was still in the office building locked in a garbage room and that night could have been a nightmare for all of us. But when Masters like Baba Sai and Mohanji take care of their children, nothing can go wrong. We just need to have firm faith and they take care of everything. My pranaams to the Masters.
